This is much like:Lich vanguard for Pavium, except lich is controllable. Good video but some important infos are missing. Chain commands were possible day 1. They just improved the feature a lot. Also, when you tell a group of units to hold position they will NOT react to ALL UNITS or LOCAL UNITS select commands. If you tell ALL your units to hold position not even the sound files for those select orders will play. So to stop them from holding position you have to manually select them and give them a different order. Than they will answer to ALL UNITS again.
They need to add an option for all your units to use their Y ability at once, they could easily implement that through holding Y. would be super useful for marines.

The chained commands is fricken great. They had it in halo wars 1 and it was so helpful. Not having to worry about those turds not gathering resources n stuff. I can send a banshee out to constantly scout and do loops on a point of the map to know what is coming

Out of principle I stopped playing this games after a few playthroughs because i realised how shitty the controls were, Q moves have been in most rts games since pre 2000s, so what your all so exited about this that they have now finally finished the alpha of HW2... 'amazing' It now has Q moves and attack moves etc, its finally an rts with the most basic core mechanics and essentials. These arnt suppost to come out in an update, this is what the game should have had on release. Its been promoted from potatoe to ok. I'm glad of this, but find it funny how people look at these things as amazing... no this is just a normal feature thats in 98% of rts games and using these features is common place. This is the problem with releasing unfinished games like HW1. All I can say is this is 'too late' but thank fuck for whoever got this implemented. It makes it playable without making me depressed about how much more i could do in other rts games, think im gonna give it a second chance. :)

Only problem I have is the use of left bumper, it is one of the most unused buttons in general so it feels awkward to use often.

You can rally point a teleport on say highway, and units will teleport by themselves. Ive been dreading this feature since launch!

The original halo wars already had some of these features. I don't know why it took them this long to add it.

you missed out being able to place your rally point on a unit so all units will rally on a particular unit
Do you know if you can assign more than one building into one control groups like infantry? Im curious to see if that is possible.
Hey Slick. Great video as always. Did you notice that you can attach the rally point to any unit? So new units will go to wherever that unit is.
