I read Michelle's book. Her family, specifically her mother, was extremely neglectful throughout her childhood. Her mother's boyfriend broke Michelle's son's leg and this is why she lost him. Her mother was at fault for all of Michelle's traumas & misery until she was abducted, then it transferred to that monster.
Michelle out of the three really breaks my heart! Yet she was strong enough to stand before that monster and face him and say bye bye to the life and torture he had for her! As a nurse for many years, I have heard people say that nurses don’t really care about patients and their families because they never cry if someone passes away or experiences trauma. We have to be strong for those people. But, that does not mean that we don’t cry. I have spent many times driving home after my shift in tears for those who have suffered. We do care very much for our patients. I am glad these nurses were able to see that Michelle Knight needed support and made themselves available for her.

One man in Columbus had a houseful of men and a few women too, and all of them were bawling like babies, and they all saw that woman's strength not even 90 days after she was rescued along with the others. She stood tall, she stood proud, and she stood strong, but that time, she did NOT stand alone. The world was watching, and crying too. The cruelty she endured was unimaginable, and the support she received was and still is unending.

I feel sorry for Michele because know one was there for her when she was missing and know one was there for her when she was found that is sad. But she seems to be a strong person and has a lot of faith so that is good. Best of luck to all three girls. I walk home from the bus stop and I had a man to ask if he could give me a ride and I said no thanks because I am not accepting a ride from someone I don't know. And besides I have been like this my whole life i don't trust people I don't know and that is a good thing. Plus seeing and hearing stories like these girls went through that is enough to make you stop and think.

As sick as this may sound., if Castro wouldn’t have abducted Gina and Amanda , Michelle most likely would’ve never gotten out. She was so sick with infection and scarring from her forced abortions and I guess lack of hygiene. It’s amazing his six year old was medically ok never seeming a doctor ever. It’s so scary that the house was so close to many houses . He had them so afraid to even scream or they could been rescued sooner. This is how these monsters groom their victims they have them paralyzed with fear. It’s great to know despite the trauma and pain that they seem to be thriving. I hope Joselyn will be ok. She did love her dad and had a relationship with him yet seen him torture her mom. That’s a lot to deal with.

These women made it through the hell serial they had to face. They received a ton of support. My heart only breaks for Amanda Berry though, yes she is doing great today, but she didn't get to say bye to her mother...Her mum died from a broken heart.

I remember the day of Castro's sentencing, August 1, 2013. Michelle stood strong. Twitter had reported 724 tweets per second during her victim impact statement. One man in Columbus had a houseful of men and a few women too, and all of them were bawling like babies, and they all saw that woman's strength not even 90 days after she was rescued along with the others. She stood tall, she stood proud, and she stood strong, but that time, she did NOT stand alone. The world was watching, and crying too. The cruelty she endured was unimaginable, and the support she received was and still is unending.

I feel sorry for Michele because know one was there for her when she was missing and know one was there for her when she was found that is sad. But she seems to be a strong person and has a lot of faith so that is good.
Best of luck to all three girls. I walk home from the bus stop and I had a man to ask if he could give me a ride and I said no thanks because I am not accepting a ride from someone I don't know. And besides I have been like this my whole life i don't trust people I don't know and that is a good thing. Plus seeing and hearing stories like these girls went through that is enough to make you stop and think.

Casey Marie no, she wasn’t. Her mother basically said “good riddance” the day she disappeared. :(
@@PrayerfullyBlessedMama that's not true. She was reported missing by her family, but she was an adult and they all thought she may have left after losing custody of her son. The police didn't spend much time looking for her due to that fact.
xlxcrossxlx she was never reported missing! Police, media and she herself has said: no one reported her missing. Her “mom” showed up after she was found to get her 15 minutes but Michelle, now Lily Rose, turned her away.
@@PrayerfullyBlessedMama not going to argue with you, but she was reported missing and then a few years later she was taking off the missing persons list because they didn't know if she was a runaway or if she did in fact get kidnapped. But yes, she was at one time reported missing.
If you think about it, Michelle may never hve been found had the other 2 girls not been kidnapped and/or had their families looking for them. It is such a tragedy all around.

I have NO RESPECT for Michelle's family, not only did not look for her they left her child in the foster care system. If it had been a situation where they were looking for a while then gave up hope of finding her alive but still raised her son & kept him in the family, I might would have had a little respect for them then but they didn't. So I dont blame Michelle for wanting nothing to do with them.

Other sad fact about Michelle : After their rescue, Gina and Amanda didn't want to talk to Michelle anymore, basically their ignored her, and the reason was : ''it's not the kind of person we would get on in Real life'....

As sick as this may sound., if Castro wouldn’t have abducted Gina and Amanda , Michelle most likely would’ve never gotten out. She was so sick with infection and scarring from her forced abortions and I guess lack of hygiene. It’s amazing his six year old was medically ok never seeming a doctor ever. It’s so scary that the house was so close to many houses . He had them so afraid to even scream or they could been rescued sooner. This is how these monsters groom their victims they have them paralyzed with fear. It’s great to know despite the trauma and pain that they seem to be thriving. I hope Joselyn will be ok. She did love her dad and had a relationship with him yet seen him torture her mom. That’s a lot to deal with.
