An Unexpected Twist!

Today I was able to get up and out early to make the 2 hour trip to Montauk Point to watch my brother compete in his first triathlon. Little did I know, he was bringing the whole group chat to throw down.
Unfortunately, Event Power had to make a tough call and cancel the swim after days of rain brought a ton of run off into the water. Often in lakes and ponds in the area bacteria levels can rise for a little bit after a ton of rain.
Even with the swim cut it was still a great time a lot of laughs. I hope I get to throw down next time!
