Deleting Core Android Apps: Launcher, Settings, System UI

- While browsing through my files, I remembered about that Windows essential folder that you should NOT delete: System32, you know, the one that appeared on some memes claiming that it was a virus. So I thought: what would happen if I deleted some very important applications that Android needs?
This video is made with entertainment and educational purposes. I am not responsible for any damage that you can cause to your phone if you try it. So do NOT do this to your main phone.
How to install an Android emulator: • Video
Also, thanks for the 200+ subs!
what if you ignore all settings permissions💀💀
If you delete core Android system files, your phone is no longer bootable. (Also known as bricking your phone)
You can still try to fix things with the recovery menu, but if even that is faulty, you're just screwed
That's what I did on my old Android 4 I accidentally Flash magisk and somehow it bricked my device when it said it was compatible with the Android Tab 4 they were lying I guess I have to stick with SuperSU
@@NatetheNintendofan Can you try using LineageOS instead? As I can tell by your name, you might be a Paper Mario fanboy
@@pkcell5688 yeah I bricked it's just stuck on the boot screen saying Galaxy Tablet 6 I already install lineage OS and SuperSU so I wanted to upgrade SuperSU into magisk did make an Android backup but I could not boot into the recovery menu I could not boot into TWRP or the standard recovery ain't even cannot boot into download mode or Odin mode so I think I'm destroyed and hard brick I thought it would be as easy as hacking the 3DS the Wii and the Wii U the DSi I had a blast hacking those consoles with pirated games Homebrew Homebrew games Homebrew apps and all that jazz
@@pkcell5688 and now I'm really sad cuz I got that tablet that was my second tablet the tablet 2 years after I got my LG tablet I got my o.g. first tablet in 2014 I am 15 right now and I got that a6 in 2016 in that tablet means the world to me
5:51 Probably a fallback of some sort since my phone has a different power menu whenever it freezes
I delted the system ui and my galaxy a14 5g screen went gray and got stuck like that and i factory reset it
so it works it back android or not
Request: What happens when you delete Android core system files?
Then you will be stuck on a bootloop
this is fixable? I'm worried because system UI I delete accidentally
@@renbertarizala6408are you able to use your phone normally?
See.. I accidentally uninstalled my Default Launcher in My Phone.. Now shows only the Dialer :(
Please help me out..
Can you access the quick settings?
@@byteseb I can only access the old browser.. I have sent a launcher apk in my device through pc but i cant figure out how to install it. If I can open the File Browser I can get my Phone back... But I don't know how to.. :(
Try to invoke the Google Assistant and tell it to open the File Explorer
Can you replace current android apps and delete them and put older versions of android apps (KitKat specifically)
I think you can, but you'll have to get the specific APK
Hey you should mess around with internal system programs (like the programs that are just long lines of text for like soc stuff)
Also you should try to run internal apps that usually stay disabled or stuff
Like y'know when you just look in your power history or activity menu and just see something with mediatek in the name?
You just answered all my questions 😭😭😭
For the last one, he deleted a Android app called "Android System".
At the video clip, I found a dead Android on a modern device, if you destroy Android OS on the company's phones, they may destroy you
What happens if you delete android os
This is just like System32 Android version
Try not giving system UI access to storage
ANDROID = Rest In the peace
idea: what happens if you delete the "/" folder/directory?
i found out that on Zarchiver you can go to the folders before the internal storage (0) and that includes the "/" directory/folder
You would delete the entire operating system, but you need to root your phone in order to do that, and it would very likely brick it, also removing the bootloader and other partitions
@@bytesebi expected that it will do something to the phone
:P
3:34 it crashed seems to be stuck in some sort of loop try to load the launcher what is will never find it because we deleted it
Post a video about modifying your current android firmware/build without any root
can you install a launcher from the app store and then delete the default launcher that comes with the phone?
I mean, you could, but some things might break.
@@byteseb can you do video about this one plz I wanna know ?!
I will try to make it!
Hello @@byteseb i have question we have on android 13 0/android/data stroge there is a restriction if i delete files app and reinstall older version to broke restriction It is safe to delete a system app the files(documentsui)?
What if you overclock a rooted emulator?
I was going to do this when I got an emulator.
What happen if u install another launcher and deleted the default one? I really need to know
You probably could be able to set the new one as the default one, but I'm guessing it will require some tweaking, as your homescreen won't be available, so you'd have to find a way to open the settings app and set the new one as the default one
I think I did something like this once. When you install a new launcher android asks which launcher you want to use when pressing the home button. If you delete the old launcher the home button will default to the new launcher. I can't tell you exactly if something would happen system-wise, but I don't think it breaks android since custom launchers exist as long as android existed.
Interesting
Idea:what happens if you delete the files app?
Nothing
Hi, thank a lot for this video, Now i have some idea what going on with my android car player unit.
Can anybody help me?
Im not realy a tech guy or one who like to mess up with android setting until i bought an Android TS10 head unit. Im not aware of the recent tech that every android headunit player has its own Laucher/UI that seems to allow only their own hardware (e.g DVR, USB TPS, ODB reader etc) to work, just like an apple phone. I taught all hardware should be compatible with any my head unit as long as it Android. My judgement was wrong.
I could not use my DVR properly whre i have problem with DVR sound/navigation/peek window/etc. and frequent restart too. The vendor suggest me to buy only their own DVR (dofun brand) which im not really keen on their product.
My question :-
1. Can installing a 3rd party Laucher at app store like Nova, Agama, Torque etc messed up with my stock TS10 Laucher (Chinese head unit)???
2, Will using a 3rd Party laucher solve my DVR problem above?
2. " "clear default in system settings" message box appear every time i connect my usb DVR to my headunit. what does this message try to tell me?
thanks.
Maybe don’t try this at home
"You don't say?"
Well i also did the same thing with zarchiver but i did it on an android 4.4 its on my channel
I can't remove system UI if you deleted you will lose all of your data and so you have to sign up again and see what happened to the point where I don't have any robux in the first one 🕐
I once uninstalled settings on my phone, but i was able to install it back
How
I subscribed pls try delete macOS in a emulation
I'm definitely going to try that! The hardest part is actually getting macOS to run on a VM... So, I'll see what I can do
I Better Not Do That On My Google Pixel 6a It Will Be Useless And Cause A Bricked.
I think your google account password is a little too long
So deleting some bloatware isn't a big problem right?
If you're not careful, you could end up deleting another required app, but shouldn't be a big issue if you do it carefully
bro can u help me? i delete system ui thinking it as junk then i turn off my phone after that it wont show anything but the powering on animation and thats it. its stays there and i also tried alot of WAYS like factroy reseting but nothing happened.all i can do is fix the 4.4.2 kitkat version with a laptop.can anyone help me re-install system ui?
Try to reboot to recovery, hold the power button and the lower volume button. When you are there, select the option to wipe data with the volume keys, and it should format your phone
Then how the hell did u comment
Yes. Is it rooted?
