When driving in nz stick to the left. The speed limit is just the limit! Not a target!. Drive to the conditions. Alwaysssss. Too many tourist have died or killed on our roads. Nz roads are so windey everywhere. #drivesafe
Also check out the Te Puke Kiwi Fruit Country Tour

Great that you included Abel Tasman in your itinerary as unfortunately many tourists miss out on this unique part of NZ and which is actually a protected national park. If travelling to Abel Tasman absolutely recommend the kayak tours with the baby seals 😁
It’s such a beautiful part of NZ! I wish I had more time there honestly :)
By far the best How To New Zealand video I could find.

New Zealand is so peaceful you can almost hear the mountains an the ocean breathing
Milford Sound in rain is amazing as well thousands of temporary waterfalls running down the massive cliffs everywhere it really looks like the mountains are crying
It is such a magical place!!
Great Job. I liked that you named specific walks and small towns that you enjoyed. I also appreciate the flexibility of this trip which can easily be modified to include more or less days on the road.
this is one of the best videos I've seen while planning my trip, thanks so much!!
I keep love watching this video. Really awesome i love this a lot ❤ the scenery is almost to perfection.
I did my second trip to NZ back in January. I love the South Island. Great channel! You deserve many more subscribers.
I love New Zealand very pretty environment and peaceful
Such an awesome video! My sister and her husband are in NZ right now and I showed them this before they left!
We moved to the South Island last year, it's such a beautiful place and you've captured it so well!
That is awesome that you moved there! Such an amazing part of the world. Also, thank you! :)

Thanks so much my friend!
Great video, thanks!
That was a fascinating place.
Haven't been to New Zealand but this place is really one of a kind. 💕 Just thinking of how peaceful and quiet the place is.
Absolutely one of a kind! An other worldly type of feel, it’s is very peaceful and serene ❤️❤️
@@worldnomac Yeah. That's cool! Looking forward to be there someday. 💕

I didn’t even think of hiring a campervan before I saw this! What a fab idea! Lush video thank you.
It is such a fun way to explore! So glad you enjoyed it :)
As a kiwi born and bred in the North Island my man is right. If you're strict on time spend it in the south. they don't call it king country for nothing.
Thanks for your comment! That said, I am looking forward to visiting the North island too! Super excited to when the country opens up again.
King Country is in the North Island.
@@Andy_M986 shit I was found out I was just trying to send people south hahahaha

Hello from South Africa 🇿🇦
I love your country, I often gaze at its Fjords and beauty through Google Earth. I hope to retire my parents there one day. ❤
From a Kiwi...this is an Epic video!
Wow that means a lot from a native to say that! Thank you very much :)
Woow amazing video! Kuya ron in the island brought me here.
Very informative video.
This is great. Really useful 😃 thanks 😁😁
I am so glad to hear, thanks for watching :)
Thank you for the VERY helpful video!! I am planning a 14 day trip to the South Island and I will certainly be considering your tips! All the time editing paid off.😊
stracks- adventure thank you! I will check it out. I also have a north island video on my Channel, check it out. We only got to go to Wanaka & Queenstown on our previous trip and want to go back to go explore the South Island properly.
ua-cam.com/video/Tb0SCucTnF4/v-deo.html
I'm from New Zealand but I haven't really been to south island much, so this is really cool video will definitely do these things. (I've only visited Nelson and Hamner Springs)
Wow! Beautiful very nice nature ❤️
World Nomac how the corona there ? now in Mallorca everything close every body much stay in the house 😢
🙏🏻😞 hope everything get back soon
Man alive! Don't miss out on the north island! The two islands are completely different but the north island has many great places to visit and please don't by pass the eastern bay of plenty! Ohope beach, whakatane, east coast, Gisborne and then Hawke's bay!! Love love it 👍
You are so right! I am looking forward to when the border opens up again in New Zealand and I can travel all over the north island!
I love Queenstown!
Great video. Very accurate and informative.

@@worldnomac i am sure you ll achieve bigger things soon ..!!! do keep motivating starters like me too
@@worldnomac thanks a lot !! yeah ..
Amazing channel and quality, well done. New friend here 😊
On the West Coast the best bit is the mountain valleys and caves, and pancake rocks. Id recommend a cave tour and tube down the river ( or if you havent in queenstown, get a jetboat ride)
Definitely would love to do all of those things the next time I go.
Great video! South Island is definitely more scenic but the North Island is where you will experience the best Maori Villiages especially in Rotorua
Thank you and that is great feedback! I will definitely want to return to New Zealand and do a road trip through the North island as well!
@@worldnomac Also the Lord of the Ring village, and heaps!!
Beautiful place great video 📹👌👍 Stay connected 🙂
Thank you!! Glad you enjoyed
NZ, my home. Proud to be a Kiwi!

Thanks for watching, I am glad you enjoyed it!
i live in nz building a van to travel awesome to see you did a vid with the kakapo! 10:40 :)
That’s amazing!
Nice video dude. Can you get back and do other parts of NZ. Good job.
Thanks dude! Yes, when the country opens up I definitely want to explore more of New Zealand!
Well done.
Thank you very much!
I wouldn't recommend the watersports in Wanaka. It's a very cold lake and If you're just spending a day I'd recommend a nice walk around the waterfront and check out the town centre. Its nice and cute and a bit more Kiwi than the absolute tourist town that is Queenstown and Arrowtown (when the shuttles of overseas tourists come in)
Thanks for the tips, thats helpful to know.
Hello Very good vlog
Hey, thanks so much!I appreciate it :)
so nice content.like.keep connect.my friend
I'm planning a trip to NewZealand in November but I didn't know where to start but after watching this video I have a clear picture. you made such a beautiful video ever with the best guide explained good work make more videos
how I get a tour Newzealand road trip guide??
ua-cam.com/video/Tb0SCucTnF4/v-deo.html
Because of Covid you will almost certainly not get a visa as our borders are closed to almost everyone. Returning Kiwi citizens have to spend 2 week in an isolation hotel - now at their own considerable expense - and I don't think you will be allowed in yet.
Our borders are closed, ya dreamn mate
October + November can sometimes be rainy. Apr-May is usually the best, especially for autumn colours.
There were probably too many Lakes on this list. Wanaka, Tekapo, Milford Sounds, Queenstown are all very nice lake areas but you don't need to go out of your way to hidden lakes as there are already heaps on this list.
The lakes were mesmerizing for me though, but it is definitely a preferential thing.
South Island to me is the better of both Nth and Sth. Glenochy should have tried the Jetboat with forest walk, its great.
I will have to try on my next visit!
You are correct...South Island should be your first option....If you want to do north Island and are limited on time..Far north from bay of island northwards should be your second option
Definitely, I have heard that! I want to go back and do the North Island at some point!
Hey dude, great vid. Could you please put in blog form so we could follow the itinerary and stuff? Thanks
@@worldnomac Thanks! Booked my flight from UK to NZ for 1st Jan 2021 , wish me luck!
@@worldnomac dropped you an email, thanks:)
❤️from Bangladesh 🇧🇩
Glad to have you here :)
I see you are using a lot of drone footage in your video, and it's gorgeous. I wanted get get a drone for an upcoming trip to NZ but I was scared off by all the mentions of the very strict drone regulations they've got and from others I got the impression you are hardly allowed to fly it anywhere and requires loads of paperwork. How have you experenced this? Is it less complicated than it appears to be and worth it for just personal pictures/videos ?
Hey, yes they are pretty strict in New Zealand. In national parks you can’t fly but there still is quite a few places that are not a problem flying recreationally.
Sold
love that
Hi World Nomac, Question about the campers. Is it possible to rent one to collect it in Christchurch and to return it in Auckland?
Hi Patrick, yes you can definitely do that. A lot of the times they will charge you an additional fee to drop it off at a different location
Sand flies are such a pain!
Prepare natural remedies like sprinkling a little vinegar, or essential oils like eucalytus, lavender, or tea tree oil your clothes. Don't get it on your eyes!
You can of course buy different kind of sand flies deterrent from the chemist/pharmacy
To relieve the itchiness apply calamine or menthol lotion. Placing cold, damp cloth or ice pack on the affected area for 5-10 minutes or until itchiness stops.
These are great remedies, thanks for sharing!
Hi do you have to ask permission to fly drone when you there?
hi.. can we bring drone to the take video there ?
Just some friendly help with place names. Te Anau = Tea-are-no. Tekapo = tech-a-paw :) love that you love here. Awesome video! 👏
That is not the correct pronounciation. You were close in the video. Vowels are similar to spanish a, e, i, o, u . Not 'tea-are-no' etc...
The Lake Phukake is awesome...
New Zealand is a great attraction...
Stay safe...
Poor north island. The bay of plenty is where we are! ❤️
Pretty good list, but I just want to slap you for missing the Franz Josef glacier walk, that is just amazing. You have to accept that you WILL get rained on if you are on the West coast.
Well that means I will need to come back and see it :)
@@worldnomac The heli hike to the top is supposed to be fantastic, but i could only afford the climb halfway up. Still, unforgettable experince.
which period did u go?
What was the total cost for you of the whole 14 days itinerary
Lake Tekaaaapo
Gotta work on my pronunciation. Thank you
9:53 ❤❤❤😱😱😱😍😍😍
very similar to Norway.
I can't wait to visit Norway!
Hello. I hope you visit Philippines. After you visit Philippines your SUBSCRIBERS will grow more and more. Filipinos are very active about UA-cam and we love vloggers. I am a small UA-camR too. Hope to travel with you soon
Hello and thanks a lot for your amazing comment! I definitely plan to visit the Philippines once the country opens up. It has been a dream destination for me for years!!
Lake ‘ teck a po’ - pronounced. Haha 😂
Also check out the Te Puke Kiwi Fruit Country Tour
ua-cam.com/video/e6QYqi0J9io/v-deo.html
North Island has more to do and see. South island is just a visual scenic experience in a short time.
I’ll be back to road trip the north island once it opens up again!
@@worldnomac no keep ur countries virus there.
Its Te Aaa-Now
Gotta work on my pronunciation. Thank you
lake bukkake? wth haha
💖Amen I receive, my YHVH Jireh this place in 💗YESHUA's Mighty Highest Holy Name and by the Power of the Holy Spirit☄!
It sure is a beautiful place!
Blenheim is pronounced Blen- Hem ( some people even drop the H so its Blen-em)
Thank you for the clarification, good to know
Blenheim - BLEN + IM silent H
Love Blenheim!!
Glad you enjoyed it. If you're coming to this country in the future don't pop the drone up unless you check out airshare.co.nz first. We want people who are good for the country not twats thanks. All of Queenstown is a no fly zone unlike in this video. The national parks (lots) are DOC permission only.
Experience the Maori culture in north and South Island and stay away from the over priced tourist attractions (unless you can afford it of course)
Ask locals where to go
So many free activities in NZ
Love that! New Zealand is an amazing country! I can’t wait to go back and explore more of it! 3 weeks wasn’t enough :)

Did u leave your shoes at the nz door kiwis hate wearing shoes it’s true
Haha I hiked a lot and needed my shoes
Sorry, but I'm turned off by the title. In 14 days you can 't even see the must sees, let alone all the other great places, so it's impossible to combine "Ultimate" with "14 days". Realistically the ultimate trip would take a year.
Why is this place too expensive ? There are more amazing / save /afferdobel places in the world !
The reason why it is so expensive is because New Zealand is out in the South Pacific ocean far from most things meaning everything needs to be imported. That said, the natural beauty t is 100% worth a visit!
@@worldnomac Philippines 🇵🇭 is also in south east but very affordable ! New Zealand 🇳🇿 is nice and your video have nice shouts but the nature is not %100 worth if I can’t enjoy swimming in those cold waters . But the Philippines 🇵🇭 is amazing and the waterfalls / ocean / rivers are beautiful and the water is warm so you really enjoy swimming / snorkeling / diving etc.
I’ll be the first to absolutely agree with you that the Philippines are amazing!! I would be there right now, if it wasn’t for Covid :/
Please leave it’s too expensive hey go to Philippine it’s good for you good bye good luck
@@peetak5597 are you trying to propagate ? IDIOT !
lake roteroer lmfao
Had I only been an expert at pronouncing every place in the world correctly 🤔
@@worldnomac honestly you did better than most people I just found that one funny
I’ll take it 😎
Fake this is in india
mfw this man just insulted the whole nz population by calling us natives which makes nz seem underdeveloped
I don’t even know how to respond to this 🤔
If your going to come to our country please learn how to say the māori place names properly, you can ask us how to help we are very desperate for tourists and the people of our land to learn how to say it x
