Baten Kaitos Origins Speedrun - Segment 75b

- Part two of the final segment of my speedrun of Baten Kaitos: Origins. FINAL TIME: 7:59:50.
Woooooooh, sub 8! Two segments ago I was certain I would not be able to pull it off, but I did it, thanks to a fast Verus fight and a cutscene skip I discovered after the credits. It is pretty weird, since the only other skippable cutscene by pressing Start in the game is the intro. Before anyone asks, that dialogue from Geldoblame at the end cannot be done faster, it simply autoplays.
Anyways, back to my rambling about this runwell, I dont have too much more to say. Some special thanks off the top of my head (dont worry guys, Ill elaborate more about you in the official commentsand Im sorry if I forgot anyone, since this was spontaneous): FDD, VorpalEdge, Miles, Paraxade, AquaTiger, Enhasa, Reagle, Hearn, peteyboo, and Omegaevolution.
Further thanks go to everyone who has subscribed or followed this run, and made me feel like my effort was not being wasted. Whoever it was, around the middle of the run that was the only person to five star my vids, thanks. Things got really dull then, and it was nice to know that at least one person cares.
My plans for what to do next are still a bit unclear. I have a few projects in mind, but first I think I just want to take a break. Some of my ideas include an interesting BKO challenge Ive devised (Ill post vids of the bosses), doing an SDA run / IL table for Sonic and the Secret Rings, or maybe even something from the original Baten Kaitos (not a speedrun, no way).

Congrats Ring, very impressive run and I'm sure you are proud of it and the final time :P
definitely will look foward to whatever you decide to do next. Something with the original BK as you mentioned would be interesting to see (since there really are a lack of vids of that one out there).

Wow, you finished! Congratulations! That must feel pretty surreal after how long you've been working on it.
I don't know a whole lot about the game (I've only watched it before, not played it), but I really enjoyed following your progress and watching the segments. The most amazing thing in speedrunning is when you spend so much time retrying something, and you're still so thankful for how well it turned out in the end. Great job!
Wow, sub-8 is amazing. Fantastic job with this, I remember watching right from around the first segment. Kinda sad to see it be finished now, but I'm sure you're relieved. Again, congratulations. I look forward too seeing what you have in store now (especially if it involves the first BK, and the third, if it ever comes out)

@RingRush Awesome. Low level for that game is crazy. I think I'm feeling inspired to do that... maybe later though... my Spring Break is almost done.

Actually, the day I finished this run I started my low-level playthrough file of EWATLO...just beat the first Iron beetle.
I won't upload any videos or anything, since I know there are already assorted low-level vids on youtube. If I did upload videos, it would be for some new challenge, or something like boss speedruns.

Just search for "Baten Kaitos Low Level Angel of Darkness" and the user should be yuisin. This guy did a great job on this fight with only using Xelha and Gibari. Japanese voices are so much better... well at least for EWATLO...

Just don't ask him to do a Level 1/Low Level Playthrough of EWATLO it takes a lot of work.

@ChronoPaladin91 Oh, i do understand it will take a lot of work, i have tried it myself but i wasn't able to beat kalas. After dozens tries i pretty gave up.
And please give me the link :D i might try and attempt it again.
