Love the treasures. Keep pickin'... There are many undiscovered treasures just for you. 💖
The figures are original Star Wars figurines from 1977. Worth from $10-$40 each.
Kitty litter will draw the scent out of the trunk. Cool find!
this made me laugh. Obi-wan & "I guess he's a bad guy" about the nicest robot ever hahaha
That robot is R2-D2. He's a good guy.
Good score on the Star Wars stuff saved from the trash well done Renee 👏
First one you pulled out, I'm like that's a star wars figure.
I saw the original 3 movies when they came out in the theater.
Shows how old I am. 😬
Same here! Star Wars & Jaws were the only 2 movies i stood in line for
Tusker Raider from first Star Wars.
I love how excited you are, I am the same way and my family thinks I’m crazy!!
Interesting what a young person kept in the chest over time. The splash of purple is so true to a teen. A bit like a time capsule. Cheers to you Renee.
Put a bowl or foil pan of about 6 Charcoal Briquettes the cheap ones not match light in it it will absorb the smell. After 30 days use set it in the sun and it will recharge or just throw it out . It works on anything clothes, smelly shoes, fridges, a whole room just use more bowls spread around the room. I saved a friends fridge after the power was out 2 weeks it smelled horrible the frozen meat had thawed 2 bowls in the freezer 3 in the fridge by morning barely a faint smell. 2 days later no smell. She hadn't been home for 2 weeks staying with her Mom who had Alzheimer's, finally got a break for a few days. She was so glad it worked. I hope you will be too. It is a cute trunk.
Briquettes... that's a new one that hasn't been suggested before! I'll have to try this out!
The first Star Wars is well worth watching. I would re-paper the trunk with vintage wallpaper. Those figures are a great find. I would guess the trunk belonged to a teen age boy.
Oh Renee! I love Star Wars! There are so many Star Wars collectors out there who will pay well for the original figures from the ‘70s. That looks like the whole set, Han, Luke, C3-PO & maybe R2-D2 (I couldn’t see the robots well enough to tell for sure). They’re easy to look up on eBay. Good find!
What a fun video to watch what was in the treasure chest.
31 bag = Cool zip snacker, Holiday Shark is out this year!! It's thermal, made for kids snacks. Cost $12.00. I'm 68 & hadn't seen any Star Wars until two years ago. Have now seen just the newest ones. The Sapranos - will never happen. The trunk is awesome - please maybe show us progress as you redo it! Be careful out there in the dark!!! TYFS ♥️
Power Droid, also from Star Wars.
Mystery box hiding in a dark pile of trash brought you some trash and some great Star Wars treasure. Good Picking.
Don't feel bad..... I've never seen any Star Wars movies either 😂
I love the trunk! Those star wars figures are probably collectable. Great finds and I love that you found a chest with treasure. Thanks for sharing x
The purple splashes are so perky. Coated my trunk with linseed oil, like the old whalers. Just pick up a long eared hinge. Love this successful episode ❣️❣️
Linseed oil, I will have to check that out - thank you!
You can probably pick up some antique type hinges for the trunk the next time you're in Lambertville. Lots of old hardware.
Any time I need to get a smell out, I use baking soda. Works for me everytime! Leave sitting inside, rub it on things, whatever.
I love your videos!!! You were about to give up on this town for trash picking. You would have missed this trunk and it is such a neat size!!! The fun of watching you pick out the "trunk treasures" is to die for. You and Taco Stacks are two of a kind. He will not dig through the bags and make a mess either. Taco even picks up trash that is already in the street and for his kind deed, he gets yelled at by some old lady on her porch, because she thinks that he was trashing up the street. I have never watch any of the Star Wars movies either!!
Even if the phone doesn't work, you can sell a lot of phones on E-bay under the title for repair or parts and it will sell.
Love the shape of the trunk!!! Great find!!
I'd look into those star wars figures , put them on eBay because they are definitely worth decent money , nice find 😁
Hope you kept the packaging for 31 bag if reselling. Why? I don’t know just thought it would add to the value?
I know the feeling! So exciting! Finding treasure!
Thumbs up for Planet 51 movie. Fun kids movie. Could not get my phone to send👍
Love the chest . . . Great find! ❤️
Nice find. Planet 51 is a cute movie. I would use the CDs and DVDs for crafting. Glad you are so considerate when you look through the stuff. We don't call it trash picking, we call it "curbside shopping " Lol! 🙂
Love this
Enjoyed. Those figures may be worth some$$. Have a great weekend.
get a container of baking soda(ones for the fridge).... that should help pull smells out of the trunk as well.
Jen H charcoal works great too. Just open the bag and sit it inside. Absorbs moisture and smells.
Show us the chest when you’re done.
All those figures are from star wars. I had them when I was a kid... since they are from the 70's and appear to be in pretty good condition you could get anywhere from $15-$40 per figure. The first 3 star wars are the best (Star Wars, Star Wars - empire strikes back and Star Wars - Return of the Jedi).🤗🇩🇰
That is a droid . Obi-wyn was played by Sir Alec Guinness ,
Great score with the vintage Star Wars toys and the cute little trunk!
Like you slicked down hair style! R2D2 looks like he has a lampshade on his head! You are not missing much...saw the first one in 1977...and none of the sequels. As to sci-fi, I love the classics from the 50's and 60's. Lucas just stole the plots from those early films, and made a ton of money! That little square blue robot looks like he came from the 1968 sci-fi film 2001. Hi, Dave...this is Hal...you will grow to love me!
I agree on the 50s/60s Sci-Fi... out of this world, crazy characters and plots!
Sorry about that typo..."you" should have been "your"! Three of my favorite 50's sci-fi films are: The Day the Earth Stood Still, 1951, The War of the Worlds, 1953...both of these classics were remade with bad, bad results! The third is 1951's When Worlds Collide. Saw them all when first released.
Binging on some PAM! LOve this but please during covid craziness check out your old shows. Those Star Wars things can be worth a lot. You don't have to be an expert but it's good to know for when you come across something special. Love the trunk, please share a pic of what it looks like once you have it completed. It truly was a treasure chest!
First alien, is a Tuscan Raider, called Sand People in the movie. Square-ish droid is a Power Droid. Droid with the round head isn't R2-D2, it's an R5 unit. Second alien is Greedo. The silver droid is a protocol droid, I didn't see it clear enough to determine which one it is.
You know your Star Wars! Thanks for the help!
@@PaperandMoose Anytime! Star Wars was literally my childhood.
yes.....it is R5-D4. The droid with the circular top
Those Star Wars figures are an awesome trash find. Please do a video showing us the refurbished trunk!
Why would she want to refurbish the Antique trunk, it wasn't from Walmart???
@@anitablades6033 I don't get what you're trying to say. What does something being/not being from Wal-Mart have anything to do with it getting refurbished?
Treasure chest! So fun! Great video! (:
Hey Renee...I also have NEVER seen any of the Star Wars movies ...vintage figures should be worth some $$$$. Stay safe
Renee! @ 7:59 and 9:12 Those are Original Star Wars Figurine. Worth a lot of you put it on EBay! OMG best finds ever. Your reactions to them are priceless. You are a Star Wars fan and you don't even know it :) And at 12:20 you found Han Solo! Incredible! (Can you tell I keep adding to my comment as I go along your video? LOL)
The original 3 and the last 3 are really good.
That was fun ! Keep up your hunting. I love joining along. Patty
Great Halloween box treasures. TFS 🤗
Tammy was a sweet moved it’s the one with Debbie Reynolds but if not you brought a wonderful memory for me
Nice find !!
The first figure you took out "the Alien" is a Raider from Star Wars ; ) and since it´s an old one it culd meen Money. hen you found more of them… The Samsung phone shuld be recycled.
Great finds ❤️ love the chest
Thank you Renee.🫶😊
The Kenner Han Solo came with a blaster. Maybe it's somewhere in the trunk?
Thanks Pam, stay warm!
The best video you have done , so funny, great finds . greetings from Cornwall ..ENGLAND ,
Amazing finds! To think, there is so much treasure about to hit the landfill on a daily basis, never to be seen or appreciated again. I am a huge star wars fan. Have some original 1977 and 78 figures, when I was a kid. I would love to buy them from you, provided I'm not broke. Lol. Keep up the great work.
Vintage Star Wars, amazing!! You should watch them all, the last one is playing this December! I love them!
Sharks cool because of the baby shark song...lol
Trunks cool...I love trunks
GREAT JOB RENEE .....ENJOY ALL YOUR VIDEOS. PLEASE BE CAREFUL OUT IN THE DARK. NOT WORTH THE RISK. WATCHING FROM VA. HELLO TO CUBBY.🐈🐈🐾👍🐯😘👻🎃❤💕😇
Sorry for misspell....Cubbi....Meow🐈🐈🐈💕
Wow, like that chest although the purple is a bit disconcerting. As everyone has said the little figures are Star Wars figures. Depending on who it is, when it was made, how much screen time the character had and its "coolness" rating some are worth a lot more. Go to E bay and check them out, on the sold section. My friend you find the neatest things.
I've collected old trunks for years. Some of them shouldn't be restored, just cleaned. I've noticed that trunks tend to deteriorate really bad on their underside. Also, the trunk lid should be supported by trunk hinges. You see these used on footlockers. Thanks, good video!
Thanks Rosemary! The bottom of this trunk wasn't too bad. I'd like to at least take the purple paint off on the trunk, try to get it back to the natural wood.
This looks like a trunk that was in a teenage boy's room. I should know since I raised one that had stuff like this stashed in different places.
The 1st Star Wars dude is the guy that almost killed Luke Skywalker in A New Hope. NEW HOPE is THE Star Wars movie to watch. Perhaps more SW figs were in the trash.
Neat finds. Hard to see in the dark, need a miners helmet with light 🕯
I've never seen Star Wars either. 😊 I do love the avengers and Star trek though.
Thank you for sharing your adventure with us! When, we took down some walls in our 1926 home, we found a time capsule in the wall. It had sewing patterns, advertisements, family photos, old spectacles, etc. I know that you would have been just wild for that stuff! I will see about getting some pix of the items to email you. Blessings from Michigan!
That sounds like a fun find! I would have wondered if there was anything behind any of the other walls :0)
@@PaperandMoose We took down 3 total so far. The living room wall plaster will come down next to put in real insulation and drywall. That won't be until next spring though.
They recently released Rugrats, Hey Arnold, Rocko's Modern Life, and Real Monsters complete series on DVD.
I saw the original Star Wars also. I really love the first one.
I only saw the first Star Wars don't feel bad lol
Those toys can be collectible toys
Thank you Renee you have a great week
You as well!
I'm so happy to hear you have never seen star wars. Cause I haven't either! Haha. Not really my thing but i would if it was on somewhere i was going or something. Lol
It would be super cute if you fixed up the trunk, but had a little mouse peeking out of the hole in the top! :) Ps. I have never managed to make it through Star Wars movie either.
Taking me back....I loved ac/dc
The first star wars figurine you held up was one of the sand people and the one you called "Obi Wan" was actually the android R5-D4. The square blue one is a power droid and the silver one is a death star droid. The 3 androids actually came in a set. You can look them up at Toyark! :)
Hi Renee 😃 You were adorbs when you found the nickel 🤣 I know You'll work wonders with that trunk. You might find Porch Kitty in it if you leave on porch to air out.
Love your hair longer...it would look so cute fringed around your beautiful face. 😘 Have a great week Sweetie!
My son had a star wars collection of over 100
This was a Nice treasure chest 🍀✨.. don't throw away the phone, there are machines at the mall that might take Them for a Buck or 2 🤷♀️ $2 is $2 right 😋.. loved the chest and the figurines .. and I must admit, i've never watch Star Wars or that other one also .. space/ war just isn't in my list of intrest 🤷♀️😁.. thanks for sharing your finds ✨👌😊
Glad I'm not the only one that hasn't seen Star Wars!
The white robot is R2D2.
As the other said the money is in the Star Wars figures. Didn’t see the condition, but min value is $5 to $10 each. Thanks for sharing
The alien is a creature from the original Star Wars film 1977. Has value!!
Renee. Love the trunk!0The DVD TAMMY, started Melissa McCarthy and Susan Sarenden.
Neat treasure chest. The Star Wars figures are collectiblesI Nice old ones. I used to watch all Star Wars films as my son was younger, it was his world that time (and mine too if I wanted or not). I think you got the names for the figures on previous comments.
I guess I should check out at least one Star Wars movie at some point :0)
Of course you can confound Obi Wan and R2D2 when younever watched Star Wars. (Shaking head all the time ...)
Yes, the Star Wars characters are definitely good! And, yes you should watch Star Wars (at least once)!
U go girl
Tammy is a good movie, you should watch it.
Watch the original Star Wars. It was a great movie! Like the trunk and figures.
I seen the First Movie but never the other's. But some of the figure's could have some worth just by themselves.
It seems that the majority ruling is to watch only the first 3 in the series and then disregard the rest. I better stock up on popcorn for the day that I watch them!
You definitely have some vintage Star Wars characters. I went through the 1977 with my sons and 1997 with my grandson. 😊 Obi-Won- Kanobi is a man, not a robot. The robot is probably R2D4. R2D2 is blue and white...robot. If you have any questions...feel free to ask. If they were in original packaging, they would be worth something, otherwise...typical yard sale fodder.
I think the others are Star Wars. Louise Tridle
That's Hans Solo not Luke Skywalker
Cool,,
you have found a lot of fun stuff I am sure it has value for someone. Watch Star Wars. You will enjoy.!! Thanks for a fun video!!
Tammy is a Melissa McCarthy movie pretty good movie
Fun video, bet Cubbi will jump right in that trunk.
Better prop open the lid with a board or tie it open to something, I lost my kitty when it hit it's chin on something and broke its jaw??
those figurines are really early starwars and maybe the blue boxy one Dr Who??? not the tardis but another machine
The robots are C3PO and R2D2- that would be the tall silver one and the short white one.Great finds❤❤❤
Just key in 1970’s Star Wars figures on Ebay. That’ll get you a visual for identification as well as prices. And so you’re not alone, I could never get into Star Wars (nor have I seen the Sopranos) I tried to watch SW when the first one came out.
Fell asleep😴
I have came over from taco stacks you are pretty good
Thanks Judith!
❤
The alien dude is Star Wars I’m sure
