Pine Martin can also be sevsetive to over trapping as well I really appreciate how long you spread your traps. Little too if you follow ridge tops and tops of fingers they like hunting ridge backs in my humble experience
Just an fyi, you can't use turkey (or any other game animal or bird) in idaho for bait. You can use meat from predators or furbearers, or non game like beef or pork
Ive never trapped but I did go to the rules for Idaho trapping of martins. It said a 160 or smaller. Is a 110 not smaller? The Fischer is smaller so wouldn't the 110 be good? FYI. I'm trying to inform myself as the Idaho rule doesn't specify you can't use a conibear 110. Thank you.
For someone with so many followers... I would expect you to follow the rules and laws of the state you are trapping in (Idaho). But you obviously do NOT about following the law.. You need to pull this video until you figure it out. Or at the very least edit out the parts where you are trapping illegally. And since you have me going I have to bring up the fact of the way you set your "fox" trap. You obviously do not care or are not educated on the protected species in idaho and trapping methods to avoid killing. them. You are just asking to kill a Fisher. The best part of this video is you not catching any more animals.
Just stumbled onto your channel, love going out in the winter on the trap line! I subscribed
Very, very interesting video!
Thank you for branching out and showing the trapping life.
I so enjoyed this. 👍
Your welcome! We had a fun time doing it

Awesome stuff. I take students out to my trapline and we also target marten
Thanks!
Use a 120 instead of a 110, 120 will lock itself in once the springs are bent down.
Awesome!
Two things: your box built out of OSB board will not last long. Also, your 110 conibear trap for marten is illegal

Thank you.
110 for fisher is too weak
What size of drill bit did you use for hold up your 110, 3/4"?
