We all have a list of Pokemon we think are underused or that don't get enough love. This is my list specifically for hardcore / monotype nuzlockes!
Normal Nuzlocke Ruleset:
1. If your Pokemon faints it must be released
2. I can only catch the first Electric Type Pokémon on each Route
3. I must nickname my Pokémon
Hardcore Nuzlocke Ruleset:
4. No items in battle (held items are fine)
5. No leveling past the next gym leader/E4's highest level Pokemon (at the START of the battle)
6. Play on "Set" battle mode

The pokemon I know is bad and people don't love that much us sylveon. It's fairy which is a bad type and it's kinda weak if you don't know how to use it.

Crobat is a beast! I did a Nuzlocke in White 2 and Crobat carried me through so much of the game.
Literqally one of the strongest Pokemon you can get and it's so easy to get in most games

I was doing a y nuzzlocke am I only had roserade left and she actually made it pretty far in the e four
Roserade is a decent pokemon just frail defensively

Category 7: Ugly pokemon. I'm guilty of this. At the end of the day though, the sprite doesn't help you win battles, and lots of ugly pokemon have solid stats and movesets.

You think so? I've seen it a lot in USUM, but not much elsewhere.
@@invividcolor I think specifically toxic protect stalls I see around a bunch. Leech Seed I would say less so. I guess aside from Toxic I can see a case made that status is underused that’s fair
One thing about the route 1 bangers that I think gets slept on, is they'll be stacking up EVs for a lot longer, so for a solid portion they MIGHT actually have higher stats
So your video for the shiny ghost type only run of alpha sapphire inspired me to do a regular sapphire one,(have to use the shiny cheat cuz impatience) and it was lets say a thought to start with a gastly. I caught a nincada and its now shedinja and i just got my sableye(brown ish shade in gen 3) i cant tell which of my current trio is my favorite, maybe haunter, but my sableye is a beast, solo one slapped brawly's makuhita 3 levels lower)

Yo! Butterfree is so underrated i love using it in every playthrough that i can, also beautifly sweeps the second gym in emerald, gotta love my early route butterflies!
Honestly at least in SoulSilver/HeartGold onix is pretty good till Gym 3. And you can get it easily by ingame trade.
Crobat is a literal Fuckin Monster with Moves like Acrobatics, such a Shame that peoplr sleep on Zubats
Every form I've ever ready online says crobat is one of the best poison types, so don't worry, he's getting some love:)

@@invividcolor for sure. I actually just won a draft league championship where Onix paid a pivotal role. Completely single handedly stalled out gmax cinderaces max turns and toxiced it on top of it. Fantastic mon

"Pick the Pokémon you like" is how I decide what I do as a monotype run :D I love Gengar and I'm excited to use Aegislash as well so my next run will be Ultra Moon with Ghost types :) I did the same with Poison in BDSP, Dark in Platinum, Bug in X atm. I think Fire is next after Ghost cause there's so many cool mons. Probably also the ultra games or sun / moon, idk yet

There are a lot of Pokémon I like that others don’t like including: all the regis except eleki and drago, magmortar ,electivre , avalugg, arorus, almost all the water starters except primarina, rhypherior, beartic, poliwrath, gallade and more
I actually used arorus in my x and y team I don't remember which one though but I used it its my favorite fossil pokemon
I love probopass and I know it is not the best pokemon but it's defence is pretty good
Underused pokemon group that should be added is the early bugs. Butterfree, Dustox, Venipede/Sewaddle, etc are very strong in some circumstances. At one point, Beedrill carried me through half the region because it was the onyl one that survived.
What about sword and shield early bug type the bug psychic one its really good especially since it learns light screen and the other screen
I've been trying to do a Hardcore Normal Monolocke on White as per someone's suggestion and I can confirm that Audino and the Lillipup line are godsent.
I actually did a normal type only pokemon shield run but I don't do nuzlocks I just use the types only so I have a little hard time I don't like the idea of nuzlocks for me playing them cause I get too attached to my teams but it's still difficult in the game just using the typing
But the ones I used were some of the early game pokemon like sqovet and bunalby I ended using these to for a while but I eneded keeping bunably on my team it was a pretty good one
I also used helioix and unfezent. Unfezent was pretty good cause my had super luck ability which ups critical hits so it was pretty good and I eventually got good physical moves on it later on
Crobat is the MVP. Especially with egg moves

run gyarados, salamence, garchomp and other monstrous nuzlocke critters. run megas, z moves and dynamax. if you find that any of them make the game too easy, you can ban them later
Heavy agree, it's your personal playthrough, sometimes just being more limited by who you picked up is enough for some, you don't need 100 rules limiting who you are picking up and how you use them for a run to be "valid"

I know i like ninetales a lot more than arcanine cuz ninetales can stall really good with will-o-wisp and than use calm mind to use flamethrower and than use protect

I'm sorry to say but there's a very obvious reason why Onix is only used by first gym leaders and early game hikers.
But at the early game, you usually only fight pokemon with physical moves

Onix still isn't great overall. Just ask flygonhg. I still adore him tho. Theres nothing wrong with liking weak pokemon.

@@prof.reuniclus21 I think its okay to categorize them as strong and weak. It's stupid to argue against that, but its also stupid to say that weak pokemon are useless. They can be awesome, too:)
