Kirk is chill as fuck. I used to listen to Crowbar when i first started riding a motorcycle because the chain was janky. I didnt know when it was gonna wrap around the back wheel and send me face skidding down the highway, so i looked for strength in "existence is punishment" and frankly i feel they where a real uplifting band in my life. God bless Kirk, and God bless Crowbar!
02:33 oh, yeah! Classic!!! ❤❤❤ I was like 12-13 or something when I saw it on Beavis & Butthead. Back in these days I had no chances to get some Crowbar music, but when I finally found it, well, Existence is punishment is in my constant playlist ❤
Some of this stuff really blows:Badly! Dimmu Borgir:Not into the whole "Upside down/Satanic Pentagram" thing, but their music is undeniably heavy! Watched Progenies of the Great Apocalypse years ago-Watched it several times back then, and watched it again here recently. There's no denying it:The music that they do is very dark, powerful, and extremely heavy! Slayer: Seasons in the Abyss-Very heavy. Infectious lyrics and background music. Crowbar: Existence is Punishment-Classic Sludge Metal, that you can jam with! To Kirk Windstein: You've done some excellent music, that I love to listen to, and to actually grow by! You and I are pretty much from the same lines of thought, concerning what we like, and don't like. I've listened to "Planets collide" more times than I can shake the proverbial stick at. Love it. It's words are a challenge to me. Thanks for writing that one, as well as To touch the hand of God,, All I had I Gave, Existence is Punishment, Cemetery Angels, and many others.
Now whilst I find most 'reaction' videos infesting youtube today to be tedious plagiarism of a good idea one person had.... I would watch you read the phone book out loud in that gravelly voice and bon homie demeanour, Kirk. As a fellow imbiber, preferably after a few pints of who-hit-John. Hell, why not "Aesops Fables: presented and narrated by The Riff Lord, Kirk Windstein, Esq"?
Makes fun? MAKES FUN? I was disappointed. He said Cardi B sucks and he cannot understand a words she sings. That's how I feel about this Bodak Yellow chick.
Kirk is like your cool uncle that is way cooler than your dad but your dad hates him because he gives you booze and he thinks you like him more
nah, that's matt pike.
I do tho

All hail the mighty Beard of Doom!
Beavis and Butthead got me into Crowbar
same, but not before that ep of Headbangers Ball, then Beavis and Butthead embroidered them to me.
This music is slow and fat
Same here. B & B were the real influencers.

Phil Anselmo wearing Crowbar's t'shirts got me into them back 1997
Dude looks like metal Santa
Do this with Eric Peterson and Chuck Billy (and Alex Skolnick)
Kirk reminds me of the dwarfs from the Lord of the Rings & Hobbit movies, and I mean that in a good way, lol...👍
I'm glad I found Crowbar threw Beavis and Butthead.
Ya dude. thanks.fun, metal is for life not just for xmas, ha ha. :D

Could listen to him talk forever. He's like the Morgan Freeman of metal. Either him or Adam "Nolly" GetGood
