When your are an Asian your face and your hand skin tone are not the same....
Rachel Hee gurll I feel this and I’m African 💀
As an Arab I agree, lmao
i think this applies to all people of color tbh
@@Penn.obsessed im an arab too
Very true!
My top three go-to hijab colors: black, black, black 😅 I never knoww, thanks for this video 👌🏼
Me also
Melanie I love how you keep it real but still positively tell everyone what shades may compliment their skin. No one is put down, almost every skin is represented in this video, great examples, info, and of course beauties for models ❤️❤️❤️
I wear any Hijabi that matches my clothes not my skin because Mashallah I feel and look good in any color with my skin tone... I am brown skin and my sisters where I live some are dark skin and wear many colors and it all looks so good on them... MashaAllah
Some models were not even dark skin, they were light brown skin 🤦♀️
Dark/medium skin 🧡 and my fave hijab colour is burnt orange 🍊
im definetely a medium yellow and neutral undertone. and its so true how light pinks or light brown just end up looking like my skin color is just blending into the hijab color.
Totally!! Thank you so much for watching!! :) 💕
I have medium skin tone and my favorite hijab color is grey
Me too
a
Wow you didn’t even show anyyyyy Dark skin tone girls 🤦🏾♀️.. one was light skin and the other 2 was brown skin....
tbh the light skin girls were tanned compared to me so its hard to get a good rep for all of us. Same with the HH website. wish they had super fair right through to v dark skin tones.
@Aiko damn she should've still included them tho
I wanted to see Asian coloured girls
You are absolutely right
Masha’Allah, I’m glad I found you
I’m so pale the black and white filter doesn’t affect me
Abby Badertscher I relate to this on a spiritual level
I envy pal girls I think they look so elegant when natural much better then orange fake tan ankles 😂
Damn you really talked in depth for hijabis with light skins and medium skins, what about dark skinned girls??? Tf.
Is there a website I can buy hijabs from ?? I found one but they are really pricey. Love your videos. Wish I had you around closer to help me with my colors and ways to wear them
The only colours at school we can wear is white or black. I personally like white hijabs more since it much cooler but it doesn’t look great on my skin tone. I could wear black but I feel more suffocated and I’m not really a fan of the colour. Idk what to do, help!!!
Its so beautiful keep it up sister and take love from me 💖🇧🇩💚
Girls with that kind heavy makeup ..should really be awarded a medal if they do manage to prayer too with that life style..i really wonder.. may b being a man i cant understand ..tell me wat do u think about it?
They can just cleanse their face with micellar water or doing double cleanse and apply makeup after they done praying if they want to lol
I'm southeast Asian and medium skin, 1-2 tone lighter than my profile pic lol, my face would look brighter when I wear light blue, sky blue, or turquoise xD,
I am really pale and olive green and peach suit me best. Beige and camel look really bad at me, as you said 😂
When you’re super fair with neutral undertones (Irish and Scottish ancestry), but only wear neutral and earthy colored clothes 😭 I am working on wearing hijab and really want to try neutral colored hijabs, but I’m concerned about ordering various shades of tan because I don’t know which may look good on me.
As salam alaikum, sister. I'm in the same skin tone range. If you want a safe neutral, I would try mink (a cool tan). I would also consider navy blue. It's a good starting point and not as harsh as black. It also goes with just about everything. If you mostly wear earthy tones, maybe look at dark green or a forest green. It's really so fun playing with different colors. Aside from that, just remember that wearing hijab is an act of worship. I'm a revert and that has helped me in my journey. May Allah make it easy for you. ❤️
I have very light and reddish skin and with a cool undertone. Can tips for not making me look like a tomato?
*_My skin tone is weird as hell. I'm generally considered as light skinned but sometimes my forehead turns tanned and my face stays light and the rest of my body is light except my hands?! Like whattt?_*
Purchase a copy of Color Me Beautiful. I have abided my colors (I am a "Summer") for decades and it has kept me from wearing colors that don't suit me.
Okay I can't believe people actually fall for this. Seriously. If you have a full face makeup on, believe me, colors and prints don't matter. Given, you match with your outfit. If you don't believe me, look on some other websites where models were all colors of a certain hijab. Don't tell me they only look good in SOME and not others. Notice, they all were a white blouse and have professional make up on. For real guys.
Yes but what if you don't wear make-up or only very little so it doesn't really show? Many of these girls are pictured wearing make up, but might not do so on an everyday basis. A hijab you wear every day. I am not an expert, but am not at all convinced that makeup is even halal. Maybe someone could enlighten me. If you say its halal, i would be very interested in where it says so (etc). I of course mean when you go out and/or are in the company of non-mahrams. I especially don't use anything on my face even if I wonder about a little bit of eye make up... I have heard the Prophet's wives used kohl and maybe mascara but is this true? Anyway they would meet men only behind a "curtain" (nothing other women were required to do), if they always did that then of course they could use makeup. ;-) It's really nice to have some guidelines as to what colours suit you best, though a lot of people should be able to see if something doesn't fit. Some of course have a better idea than others when looking into the mirror. I eğ have always seen black makes me look even paler than I already am - she says it can be too harsh for some...! :-) Anyway, I certainly appreciate the video!
She's not saying you can only wear these colors if you're a certain skin tone but rather they're are some colors that would look better on you than others. Personally I also have a medium skin tone and of course I can kinda pull of pastel but they really don't look as good on me as warmer colors. Thats all she's really saying.
I have deep dark skin and I find that royal blue , purple and deep pink looks good but idk what other colors look good.
I think Baby blue and Baby pink:)
I’m not a hijabi but I am Muslim, so this was helpful for occasions I do wear them! 😅
I have light brown skin tone what should I can wear which hijab can shute me
Plz Add color names in subtitles for better understand
What about, dark skin wear a white or brokenwhite hijab? Is that okay?
Assalmualaikum.......I have medium skin colour....and I luv to wear black ...grey and brown.....they are my favs..some colours dosnt look gud on me...and i was so confused....this video really helped me....THANKYOU♥️♥️
This video was quite useful thankyou! Also do you need any brand ambassadors for haute hijabs in the UK? I love your brand and videos :)
Thanks, however you left blue eyes and green eyes out 😔 please add them, love the video ❤️
That's kind of what I meant by light vs. dark features. If you have blue or green eyes, you most likely have lighter features and thus some colors may be too harsh - like black!
How to order hijab
I look better in rose gold compared to silver or gold
,thank your for your advice
Thank you and you explain really good
My skin tone is medium to dark I use black scarf...
I only light colors cause I am too afraid 😱 to where dark colors
My problem is that my favourite hijab fabric does not have the colour that suitable for me T-T
thank you for this ♥️
Hope it was helpful!!
Honey your light skin not medium skin
The lighting on this video makes her look brighter than if you see her insta. Plus you must not see truly fair/light skin women because she is definitely not truly fair. There are so many light women who can’t even find makeup to fit them. She is beautiful and how she defines her own skin tone really doesn’t need to be commented on.
I swear if she is light skin then I don't even exist 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I have a light to medium skin tone, on the lighter side, (cool undertone with a tinge of autumn) and wants to wear darker, primarily cooler tones, colored hijabs and occasionally light ones, not pastels, because the pastels make my skin look unhealthy.
Perhaps I'm one of the exception, as you said in this video.
Can I wear some of the colors for medium skin tone?
Are there really some of the dark, warm colored hijabs (olive green, cocoa, etc.) I can wear, along with with the white, navy or black outfits?
I know I ask too many questions.
All great questions!! Olive green and cocoa for example are not off-limits here, if you were to choose a slightly cooler version (thyme modal for example has more blue in it so that could work really well for you, and cocoa also has some of that blue/purple in it that makes it more versatile) :)
It's helpful to look for versions of colors with more blue/purple in them, since you're saying you have a cool undertone! :) Hope this helps! Please feel free to reach out to us at hello@hautehijab.com if you have any more questions and we'd be happy to help!! ❤️❤️❤️
@@hautehijab Thank you for answering my questions.
And btw, you're such a lovely person. 😊😊
@@hautehijab It turns out that I am neutral undertone but lean towards warm, so that means warm and muted colors for me I/O cooler colors.
Have you ever watched 4 skin undertones by MerriamStyle?
I love her
White harsh on darker skin? It's absolutely stunning on darker skin, ivory on the other hand does not look as great as white on darker skin.
Thank you for this video. It’s really helpful 🙂
You're welcome! Enjoy!
thank you 💜💜💜💜
All
I miss someone
Pradel Elien they miss you to
My friend said that I look good on warm tones❤️
I am an ridiculously pale yellow-olive undertone. Welp.
Same. I say that dark green hijab and light brown along with dark pink and nude colors would look nice.
Sis, the terminology that should have been used is ivory, olive, and ebony. Just sayin.
Light rosey skin?? No Beige 😱😱😱 I wear light beige a lot and always thought it looked great! 😂 😂 obviously not!
Im dark skin and i like grey but i cant wear grey . Doesnt suits me .

I have porcelain skintone and my favourite colour of hijab is none
Why am I here I'm russian
Lol you still can be a Muslim aswell as Russian
my girl really does not know skin tones 😭😭
I sincerely ask. Please stop calling it "Hijab" ,if u cannot fulfill all its condition. What ur wearing is not even a khimar, provided that ur hair is showing, I can see the colour of ur hair and from the back I'd probably be able to see how much hair you hair if u make it into a Hamel's hump. Its a headscarf. Headscarf. Rather a fashion statement. Please correct it, Hayati.
syeda syeda, okay so about the hair showing, I agree. But about the back of her head, how is she supposed to hide the shape I mean she puts her hair up in a bun and throws on her hijab..
For me, hijab hair covering (i.e. im not going into the clothing) should not only cover neck and all the hair but also offer proper chest coverage etc. But I do have quite a lot of hair to put somewhere out of the way - i.e. into a bun, it's too difficult to leave it open - but I thought the idea is to keep the bun low; the camel hump is putting it high up and maybe even add stuff to make it look bigger! That's how I learned it...
@@Dana01 yeah it's called khimar
Rose Xoxo yes I know that it’s called a khimar but what I mean is that the shape of the bun under the hijab will be visible inevitably how can she cover it?
