15:40 "genetic engineering can go wrong and there's certainly risks especially if it's not regulated properly that's why careful oversight is a must" Basically, the safety of a genetically modified organism (GMO) product relies on its manufacturing process and obtaining approval from government regulatory bodies. It's important to note that there have been cases where the US FDA initially approved certain products but later withdrew their approval. In the end, the risk is extremely low, although not zero. This fact alone provides sufficient reason for some individuals to avoid it.
