🤣 Yeah, loud keyboards can definitely be a plight. This is not the quietest linear I owned that's for sure. But it's not "clicky" level though. The dampening rings did help, I have since installed on every key and it's fainter but I used just about the cheapest rings there is so I wasn't expecting a "night and day" result either.
I've watched a few reviews of this product but none convinced me it was what I was looking for. Your explanation of the features was detailed, clear and easy for anyone to understand and this keyboard is now on my to buy list. Keep up the good work 😊
Totally, it's been my primary keyboard since and I wasn't kidding, despite my naughty habit of constantly changing my gaming tech (lol) I think that one is going to be a staple for at least some time!
And not gonna lie, I was soooo tempted to get it at the time, a few reviews drove me off back then (and the price tbh) but that was at the very initial launch, I'm sure it's just as great now! Wooting also makes Hall-Effect keyboards as I understand it. I love HE in controllers but truthfully, I think I've been converted into seeing that the tech, though great in both, is even better suited for keyboards. I'm loving it! Yeah dont get it.. Gaming brands really look like Apple announcing the same Iphone every year. dont pay 150 for this add 20 bucks on top and get a Wooting. support a company that innovates in the industry.
I'm familiar with Wooting because I keep up with hardware manufacturers but I must say, I never used or owned their products, not ruling them out but I gotta say, this TB product has been serving me perfectly fine a few weeks before and since having made this review. Who knows, maybe I'll reach out to Wooting one of those days and see if I could compare them both, thanks for putting them up. Nothing like consumers sharing great product experiences!
Definitely agree with supporting the original innovators of a tech but hall effect sensors were used in a lot of control devices before Wooting were clever enough to use in their kb's. I've read a lot of individual reviews on the Vulcan 2. Some have been Wooting owners who say that turtle beach have implemented the tech better.
