Very nice.
You don't pack a ton of exercises into one video, but I learn so much more this way. You teach a way of thinking about the bass that goes a bit beyond the other UA-cam teachers.
Not that they aren't great too, it's just you have pretty unique angle.
Thank you so much. That really does mean a lot.
Hi Rich,I agree..
"DON'T BLAME THE SCALE".
Thanks Rich, yes that is music. Peace and love.
Who said practicing can't be fun and interesting! Being able to come with creative ways to practice make it a much higher incentive for sure. Cheers as always
This is one for the weekend, thanks again teacher 👏🏿
new learning: "don't blame the Scale" :)
Thank you Rich! You definitely challenge my abilities! But that's a GOOD THING!
I agree with you wholeheartedly Rich. It seems like every decade there’s a new “only way” to learn. It was scales for a time, now it’s triads. It’s all vocabulary and grammar; it’s up to the player to make it music.
Ahhhh so lovely. Thanks, sir 😊
a beautiful exercise indeed, thank you very much :)
Thank you, I’m En-Riched having watched this lovely lesson. 🤙🏻
I see what you did there.
this one is really hard rich!
SIR
ONCE AGAIN TOP LESSONS FROM YOU
HEARTIEST RESPECT TO YOU...
Very much appreciated. Thanks so much.
Hello Rich, I'm still confused about the way to start learning theory in a good order. Don't you have a course or could you make a playlist with your videos in a logical way for lost ppl like me? Live your videos man, keep it up!
Thanks for the post. It would have been easier to follow what you were doing on the bass if you had written it down so we could see your process more clearly. 😊
Just wanted to say that your channel is easily the best, most useful bass instruction on the internet. Thanks for all you do!
Wow! That means a lot. Thank you!
What a simple and creative way to make intervals musical. How cool is that! 😎.
Great lesson! Thanks so much!!💜
this is, once again, a nice new twist on something quite essential, thanks an d all the bass-t from kayo
This is absolutely phenomenal. Thank you very very much.
Fantastic!
Thank You Rich!!!

"Can't argue with that." 😅👍
Thanks!
Thank you 😊
Greeeaaatt !

👏👏👏👏
I know that no matter how many scales a person practices if you don’t have an imagination you won’t make music period.
Sixxxthsss. Yessss
Thought it was Stanley at first..,, not been up long
I have watched the entire video and the practice is fantastic! Too bad I am too lazy to exercise. But good lesson nonetheless.

Rich! Greetings from Seattle! You ARE one of THE finest educators & players in the world! I personally would like to see some videos on African & West African bass lines… please
Sounds complicated for me ☹️🤔😢
That's ok. You can come back to this one some other time. You'll get it eventually!
good evening master, I'm 62 and I started with bass, I wanted to ask how I can etrapolate a bass line from a song by ear.
Thank you
