    love this video - just what i needed! where can i get the stretchy lace for wig making that you spoke about at 17:00. i'm in the UK and really need to get that specific wig cap for wig making. thank you xx

    • @WigginOutBZ
      @WigginOutBZ  7 років тому +1

      I found one once on aliexpress YEARS ago; because of the stretching they are a bitch and a half to ventilated on. I don't recommend it.

    • @Synphonami
      @Synphonami 7 років тому

      WigginOutBZ thank you that's helpful. So here is my dilemma. I custom make wigs for clients, but I don't ventilate myself, so I will be buying the premade closure or frontal and then I'll be sewing on the wefts in rows then I'll be cutting off the excess cap that covers the premade frontal (hope that makes sense). I thought this one would be good because it will give me a neat finish and the net I'll be sewing onto is strong and stretchy. Is there another cap you think will be better for this. Thank you for your help!

    • @WigginOutBZ
      @WigginOutBZ  7 років тому +1

      Synphonami oh!!! Yes, then these would be a great cap for that. It would probably be more comfortable for the wearer than a traditional dome cap.

    Totally awesome vid! I hadn't heard of HALF of these types of wigs. But I'm a newbe. At 14.22 min, the wig that you didn't make, that's the type of wig I've been looking for! I really just need a topper (thinning in front and on top), but would like a more realistic hairline that a lace front gives. How could I go about making one of those? Or is that wig something I could buy custom? I would love to get more details and better look at that wig. Thanks again for the info!

    Hey Bobbie, I know this is a completely unrelated question for this video, but whatever lol anyway, I did a lot of shows and such years ago and always pinned in my wigs to my hair. Well now that I've been in the marine corps for about 2.5 years and have a militant hair cut, I don't know how to pin in anymore. I don't want to have to tape it all around the edges and pin with a prayer. So I guess what I'm asking is: how do you pin in and secure wigs with super short boy hair? Thanks ;)

    • @WigginOutBZ
      @WigginOutBZ  10 років тому +1

      The most secure way is with a duct tape prep, not unless you feel like dousing your head in oil afterwards to work the tape off! try wrapping a self-adhesive ace bandage around your head and pin into that.

    I wear lace front yet don't secure it down except with a wig grip. No worries for me. Never heard of hard top wigs. Not heard of skin coin either. Mono tops don't always have to be hard in my experience such as the professional medical grade wigs are soft mono tops.

    • @WigginOutBZ
      @WigginOutBZ  7 років тому

      The wig grip is amazing! I'll have to keep my eyes out for a soft mono top wig, all of the ones I've seen have been stiff and hard to pin through! Thanks.

    I'm distraught! I bought this synthetic wig which is really curly. When I got it the hair was so hard that I looked for bandages. I tried fabric softener and it's still hard. Please help me Bobbie. It's not a lace front. It's a half wig. It looks like a curly black women hair. Does that make sense. I've lost my mind so please excuse me. HELP

    Is is possible to have a wig made of synthetic hair, that can be unclockable in the day time? I've only ever bought cheap shitty wigs so I don't know how high a quality you can get fron synthetic hair, or how believable the higher quality wigs look
