I wish you'd have pointed out how engraving "test" on the second lot of batched material wasn't all exact (as far as I could tell over half of the 11 you engraved were not centred exactly) In most cases this would cause problems (especially at craft shows) Saying it will be fixed with updates isn't necessary true either because I have the P2 & can never use the batch alignment due to inconsistent placement. It's hardly compact either (with the conveyor the size is larger the D1 Pro!!!) Love your videos but you really need to be less positive when the reality shows some forms of negativity
Have the F1 Ultra with conveyor and a P2 with the base, as well as D1 Pro with base extensions and 40W head. Not for hire - internal business use only. Metal engraving and business cards for the F1 Ultra, so far pleased with it. I do the fronts of the cards on the F1 Ultra conveyor and the backs of cards with the P2 to ensure things don't get upside down on alignment. xTool has been good with support and XCS does what I need. The P2 is also used for Acrylic making custom stage lighting monograms and custom acrylic plaques for weddings. Also make custom engraved equipment rack panels for lighting and sound business. The custom metallic business cards really add a touch of class to our DJ production business at wedding expo's.
The F1 Ultra is a very versatile rig and is real easy to setup and use.
Don't ever stick you fucking hand in the working area when a job is running.

Is there some reason why the conveyor has to be centered? It seems like it would make more sense to have more conveyor on the not-done-yet side. 🤷
That's a very good point. Not sure why no one has mentioned that yet. It would have more benefit to have a longer "infeed" side than the "outfeed" side.

Just another amazing video!! My engraving machine just came with 1 pair of glasses, the dealer who sold it told me that i could get some simple UV protection glasses, is that true? I cant spend much right now but i definitely need an extra pair because it is 2 of us working with the machine!! What can you recommend, Matt! TIA x x

@@CorneliusCreations Thanks Matt, i cant buy from amazon, shipping to Colombia is really expensive and most of the time it doubles the cost. But i will look for some on my hardware shop around here, do they have to be a specific colour?? Green, yellow, red, blue??
