Govan (erotic) cake recipe: take some ZAPPA-flour invention, add Satriani EVO oil fluidity, mix with a couple of Van Halen-class licks, Shred with Malmsteeen seeds of speed, Spice with Gilmour Cayenna, Then bake in Beck oven, when is well cooked, add some Clapton Cream, decorate with Chocolate Hendrix experience serve in Lukather style mmm…the best ever
Ugh .. I know, I know .. it's just that every time I hear his newer Ash model, the treble top seems to be rounded or quelled. I'll just blame those faulty troubleshooting skills on being INFP. I would however like to compare the two acoustically though .. the Ash does look wildly better than the birdseye Maple coffee table from IKEA.
The maple caps on the first 2 models (flame and birdseye) are relativly thin. I've played the flame maple in person and wouldn't say it was a distinct maple capped tone. Also the capped guitars are basswood, whereas this one is swamp ash. Ash is brighter than basswood.
Man, I would so love to compare it acoustically and feel-wise to my '92 Washburn N4. I bought it for $1000 back then but I can't even conceive of 4 grand for his Charvel ..
I love how almost everything but the main riff is improvised and it's still perfect
2:13 - 2:17 That phrasing, though! He's at another level!
What blows me away is how he can play his material so many times and it never gets boring!! Unreal
Frank D I guess he just loves playing 😁
My goodness, he's getting even better.
Just watched last Rick Graham video...and now THIS...
I'm in the same situation.
Jeff's Weird Tales 😁 weird feeling. I watched my guitar and thought '' so it's possible to play these crazy things on this ?''
oh my God. just incredible
He wrote that song when he was 18 years old
Please give 4,5 Nobel Prizes to him🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
But can he play wrong notes ..... oh shit , he can .
Sou muito fã desse grande guitarrista govan.
I still can't get this intro down lol
Bob Joe it starts with open E....thats all i can transcribe 😂😂😂
Speechless , this guy is from other dimension

Awesome is a word that is over used nowadays . . . But this guy is truly awe . . aw fuck it I'm gonna burn my guitars 😂🎸
How Guthries fingers stay attached through that solo ... nobody knows :)
Some also say that he has a cooling system built in the fret board...
...😲
far out
I wonder if that's his newer Ash-bodied model .. less crispy!
You are not doing that, you are not comparing body wood by watching a video on youtube. Please tell me you are not doing that.
The marshall cabs are going to contribute more to a darker sound that missing a maple cap.
