64 motorcycles later…knee replacement…from Alaska to Mexico to Newfoundland…67 years old…CanAm RTL and F3 LTD have kept me on the road. The RT saved my life when a rock fell into the Big Horn pass road . That’s my story.
I went from an Aspençade to a Can Am Ryker 900 ACE because of a lower back injury and pinched sciatica. After 2 years of physical therapy, I also developed vertigo. I could drive a car just fine but couldn't ride anything 2 wheels. I retired from Michigan (gloomy winter weather) to Florida (abundant, glorious sunshine). I wanted to get back to rinding again, so I went to the Can Am Course for 3 wheels and had a blast. It was so wonderful to feel a breeze on my person, my jacket flapping in the wind and the freedom of riding a bike. When I got home from the class, I bought my Can Am, used, as it was all I could afford. Thank goodness I got my sanity back. Now I am riding again. My self confidence has been restored, a smile came back on my face and I was genuinely happy and enjoying beling alive for the first time in years. I love your videos and now I am watching Coach Vic videos. What a wonderful woman. Thanks for sharing your life experiences. Daniel
First of all, many, many prayers for Ba-Ba and I hope she has a good day today! 🙏💕 I'm so glad she can get out for some wind therapy to help her through this trial. 💕
I never thought I would ever own a motorcycle until my best friend started talking to me about his Spyder RT Limited in 2018 and the pure joy that it brought him. So, as we say, I did my research and studied it from every possible angle, weighing all the pros and cons; I did that for three years. Finally, in August 2021, I called my friend and told him I was finally going to dealership to look at Spyders. Thanks to an exceptional salesperson, I signed my contract that same day for a 2022 RT Sea-to-Sky and took my driver's course in September. The second we left the parking lot, I knew the Spyder was the right motorcycle for me and rented one on several occasions until the end of October. Fast forward to May 2022, when I finally took delivery on a rainy day, I could not have been any happier and did ride it a lot more than I ever thought I would over the summer and fall. Now, I cannot wait to take it out of winter storage, to enjoy the wind therapy and the freedom of being out of the road. You are right when you say it's a great touring machine. Cheers Coach!
CB3, excellent observations, ones I agree with. I ride a '21 RTL. 9000 miles so far, very happy. It's my Sunday ride, so to say. Took my 51st ride yesterday. I have damaged shoulders, the power steering can't be beat. For many of us of my vintage, health has driven us to 3 wheels. The base Tri Glide was $4000 more than my RTL. I watched your travel vlogs before buying mine. You didn't convince me, you confirmed that my thinking was sound in buying the RTL. The Tri Glide riders I've spoken to love their rides. They're riding, that's what matters to me. I'm not a gatekeeper to who is and isn't a "real" rider. My RTL is not perfect, but I have no regrets, not one second thought. Love your content and style. Peace be with you and your family
I, like you, purchased my spyder so my wife would be able to ride with me. She is taking baby steps and making short rides. Hopefully she will continue to enjoy riding. I myself, am having the time of my life!
Coach, you missed my number 1 reason for moving from a Harley Electra Glide to my RT……..endurance. At 73 I just couldn’t do the multiple day ride on the Harley and was looking at 1 or 2 days max and was ready to quit riding. My son had me ride the RT and it was a game changer. I’ve had it for three years and week long rides are a breeze again. I was so happy with the change, I gave my Harley to my son. Cheers!
If my info is correct: The Spyder was the first bike designed to be three wheels. Others (Tri-glide, gold wing, etc) were two wheel bikes modified to be 3 wheels.
Thirty five Harleys, 3 BMW's, 3 Burgman's, BUT the Spyder is the most fun and enjoyable bike for me so far. I am on my third Can Am. One 2021 Spyder RT limited, one Ryker Sport and now a 2021 F3S. I put more miles on my Harleys backing out of my garage than most H-D riders do going forward. I would probably still have the 2021 RT Limited but as a new rider of Can Am's I was unaware of what front end alignment issues could do. It handled like crap. I know now it was an alignment issue. So sad I found out to late. At 73 I needed help, the Can Am gave me that and I am hoping for another 10 years of riding. THANK YOU CAN AM !!!!!!
Lord I ask you to bless coach Bob and his family, heal his daughter from all sickness and health issues, let your grace and mercy be thick and rich in his home. Keep a your angel protection encamped around his family, bless their marriage, as they are a good example of what you intended for marriage between a man and a women to be. And as they glorify you, so enrich every area of their life. In Jesus name I pray 🙏. Amen.❤
Hi Coach, this response is for your viewers who are still considering which way to go. After 50-plus years of 2 wheels, I still prefer 2 over three and at the same time, I only own a Can-Am. Mine is a 2019 RTL. It took a while for ME to get dialed in. I'm retired so I ride daily. Approximately 100-150 miles through the mountains, canyons, lakes, etc here in Colorado ( a lot of twisties). If it's ice-free, I'm riding. After somewhere around 5-6000 miles of riding, I began to relax. A few miles later I finally became one with the machine. Now I hit those curves and twisties so hard and fast that very few two-wheelers could hope to keep pace. If I had an F3 it would be even more so. I have over 20,000 miles of this type of daily riding under my belt on this Can-Am and I learn something new about its capabilities every day. One of my goals each time out is to never repeat the same technique on curves and twisties, each one I use something different and every day I create something new.
Well said Coach! Something else I might add was a comment from a Harley three wheeler driver who has crossed the continent at least three times with my aunt with him was this, "at the end of the day you are "tired" of fighting the steering on the trike. When the comment was made to me I had owned my F3L Spyder for about six months and thought to myself WOW. And this was said to me after I had just ridden over 11 hours straight to have dinner with my aunt who was celebrating her 75 birthday and I had never given it a thought about being tired after any amount of driving. I mentioned that the Spyder has power steering and that might be a help, but the other trikes on the road try to push you through the corners because both of the rear tires are pushing you! This is not good. Next month I'll have owned this Spyder for two years and will have placed over thirty thousand joyful miles on it. I am about to embark on a two thousand mile ride and the wife just asked me if I was going to fly. I said "Yes, on my Spyder." Praying for your family Coach, blessings to them all.
i miss that cold start of my Harley when the engine cracks to life and the Reinhardt true duels would reverberate off my neighbors house at 4am ( he told me it was the best alarm clock he never had to buy). i love my spyder RT-l for many of the same reasons you mentioned , my wife's balance issues after her stroke is the biggest one. awesome video and continued prayers for and family.
First, 🙏🏼 for your daughter. I thought your reasoning for buying a Can Am Spyder over the other trike options was right on the mark. Again, thanks for doing your videos and will be praying for your daughter’s recovery.
Well Bob, ya nailed this one, especially the front wheel thing. In the mountains, those rear drive wheels on my Honda Road Smith conversion would literally push that front into a slide in the curves. I also say, on my 20 RTL with 47 gallons of storage, can't beat it. The suspension, in my opinion, can beat that either. Is it perfect, nope! But it was my choice and totally no disappointment. By the way, congrats on the BRP ambassador thing. Big prayer going out for your your daughter.
This video is all I needed to hear. I'll be trading in my fat boy for a can-am. I'm not sure which one, but I love to ride, but i'm limited with my rods in my lower back. I also have a son that lives 6 hours away that wants to get into bikes and I wouldn't last on my Harley to go see him for a ride. I think Can-am is the way to go for me.
I love my two wheelers..but, the Spyder is truly a stress free and much easier form of riding. I never dreamed that I would feel about it like I do. It has been quite liberating for me and my lovely wife. Keep us updated on what you do. 👍👍👍
If I ever wake up one day, forgetting that I own a Spyder, and then watch a Coach Bob video like this one, I'd probably run to the dealer and buy one. And I can just imagine the look on my face getting off the new Spyder in my garage, and wondering why the heck I have 2 Spyders in my garage 😳🤣🤣 Please take care and get some rest Coach Bob. Sharpen the saw 😁
Thanks Coach Bob. This is exactly what I'd been saying to my two wheel friends. I love my Victory Vision, which I still have, but with the wife on the back I needed help at stops. This was the perfect answer to that problem. Wasn't wild about it at first but now I can't wait for the weather to change this year. Got 3 trips planned this season and we're ready to ride our 2021 RTL. 😎
Appreciate your opinions. 🙏🏼🙏🏼 for your daughter. As for me I rode Harley’s , built custom bikes ( 13 magazine featured) . Had a performance shop as well as having a line of my own designed performance parts. NOW the reason I have a 2021 Spyder RT Limited is simple. I was in a near death accident 19 years ago. 2 knee replacements, severe arthritis, I’m 74 . I’m sad I can’t ride a custom V twin anymore. However to still ride and a lot. 2 years ago our gang put on 4500 miles ending up in Sturgis, then home. Came down with Covid 650 miles from home. Still made it. The performance is great. I was used to snowmobiles so this is quite similar. Riding the twists and turns in the Ozark’s was simply awesome. Now the ONLY bad thing is the clunking clutch, poor stereo system and of course no good exhaust sound. Even after spending $1700 upgrading . Other than that it’s a no brainer.
As a “caretaker” for my disabled friend’s HD Tri Glide, I got around 300 miles of riding experience on a trike. Yes, it was a nice machine, but it was a beast to ride. I rode it to work and didn’t feel comfortable on the twisty roads. To be fair, maybe I just needed more time on it, but I find that my RTL is much easier to ride. All the reasons you mentioned for getting a Spyder, save having to help my wife get on, are spot on for me. Praying for you and your family!
Thanks again for info in about Can-Am Spyder because I am disability and diabetes! I did try drive Harley-Davidson trike but have trouble balancing around corners roads so I return it back and decide to wait to next time! CB3 🙏🙏🙏
Couldn't agree with all your points more Coach. You've seen my 2019 RT Limited, and I went with the Can AM for most of the same reasons. Only with me it was because my knees got so bad I couldn't hold up my Road King anymore. After riding Harleys, along with many other makes for nearly 60 years, I have to say that for road trips, my RT is the most comfortable ride yet.
I have to say that I love my Sea To Sky (it's the 'original' version) and my wife loves going on the back. She tells me that she feels comfortable and safe back there. I find that the greater size and visibilty of the Spyder means that car drivers tend to treat it with the same respect that they do another car in terms of space cushions when passing and following etc which contributes to safety as does the two front wheels and the excellent braking system. You mention torque: I find the 1330 Rotax has torque in spades - I am amazed at the hills it climbs when loaded without needing to change gear. And if you are in the mood, opening it up and taking it up the rev range it can be astonishingly quick for such a large thing. It's no Hayabusa but it is more than fast enough to put a wide smile on your face.
Very informative post Bob. Helps me decide on Can Am. I will keep your daughter in my prayers. I wish her well soon. God bless you and your family. From me Richard in U.K.
Thank you for all your experience and input, this will definitely help me in my purchase of one. Most of all my best wishes to you and your family and God bless all of you.
Love this video!! I get a little annoyed when people say the same thing to me about the Spyder not being a motorcycle. My response to them is are you allowed to ride the Spyder with a regular Driver's License? No, you need a motorcycle license to operate. Nuff said. Thanks Coach!! Praying for your family!!
When that's said to me, my response is, "You're right. It's not a 'motorcycle', it's a Spyder." I call myself a "Spyker" when I'm on my F3S & a "Biker" when I'm on my Drifter. ;)
Much like the previous comment. Just had my 2nd knee replacement. Concerned about dumping my Harley as my wife is my constant riding companion I bought a Rt ltd. Looking fwd to getting on it and still enjoy riding when the snow melt. No way I will get rid of the Electra glide classic. There will always be a time when I can ride it. Just looking forward to a little more comfort and hopefully a few more miles
You bring up some great points, Coach Bob! I'm glad your Spyder has been a blessing to your family. I know I am very thankful to have my F3 in my garage. 💜🤗
Another great honest video. Stability for passenger when getting on or off, when coming to a stop etc was my reason to buy a Spyder. As you say you either love or hate Harley's and for me if I had more money than you know who I might buy a Harley but definitely NOT for the sound :). Performance add a Peddle Commander or PedalBox more fun than a Spyder should be at times. All other points are true to buy a Spyder. Prayers and healing wishes for your daughter, keep your faith.
Well... This is a timely video. At 65 and no disabilities with myself or my wife, except for weight, but having difficulties slow creeping in stoppengo, we decided to go to a trike. Almost got talked into slapping down on a 2019 Tri-glide on Saturday. You've made me pause and reflect a bit. You made perfect sense. Thanks. Brian in western Canada
Hey Brian..thanks for watching. Let me know what you end up getting. Coach Vic (Mrs Coach Bob) and I love our Spyder. It has made our traveling and touring stress free and fun again. 👍👍👍 Be safe!!
@@CoachBob3 Thanks, Bob. I think we'll sell the Cora-vette (87 poptop) and /or trade for the Sea to Sky. Thanks also for pointing out whats not included. She wants it before we go to Reno in September for the final edition of the air races., but I don't see that happening.
Great vid Bob and I agree with everything you said. I've had 2 Harleys that I loved, a BMW tour bike that was out of this world comfortable (it even had a 10 disc CD player!), and my favorite, an Indian Chieftain bagger that I toured on. Several concussions and 2 traumatic brain injuries with brain bleeds eventually led to brain surgery and I was told I shouldn't ride 2 wheels anymore. Didn't think I would like a Spyder but after about a half hour test ride I fell in love. All of the attributes you mentioned were gravy to the fact that I could continue to ride. Now I'm anxiously waiting for the thaw here in my neck of the great white north so I can get out! I'm sending best wishes to Baba, you and the rest of your family. Don't forget to care of yourself Bob.
Very good Video Bob. you hit the right points for me. Especially the wife thing. My wife would not ride My two wheeler with me ,but now she rides and enjoys it. thanks!
Hi Coach, I recently sold my 2021 Harley Tri Glide and got a 2022 Spyder RTL. I do love the sound of a Harley…but am very happy with the ride and handling that the Spyder offers.
Pray that BaBa is doing well. Just came across this video as I am trying to decide as a newbie to all of this at 60 yrs old what will be best for me. I have to find a place where i can try them both. TY for making the video.
I have been watching your video for awhile now and you give great honest advice thank you. I do not own a spyder your a motorcycle but love them all. The last time I rode was dirt bike for about one hour when I was maybe 14 years old I’m now 58 and I love the security the three wheels give if you know what I mean. I think I will be taking the spyder course this summer
My wife was getting increasingly nervous getting on and off the Goldwing, and riding solo I had two minor mishaps. So at 78 I decided to go to 3 wheels. For most of the same reasons that you state in this video I ended up buying a Spyder RT in 2021. I have had zero regrets and have enjoyed the ride immensely for the last two years. Giving up the leaning in curves was the only concession that I had to make and it is more than compensated by the stability and comfort of this trike. I do find a few negatives, like having to use premium gas, and some of the data shown is widely inaccurate at times, but these little things are truly negligible in the overall assessment of this machine.
Howdy Coach! First, Prayers for you and Mrs Coaches Daughter!!!🙏🙏 Now Spyder stuff. You Are indeed a Great Ambassador of All Moto related kinds!! I’m considering a Spyder in the near future. Your videos, along with Purple on 3, etc. are truly awesome! Informing, and entertaining!!! You are Truly Blessed, and pass that on to us! Thx look me up if you like music and GuitR stuff!! Stay Safe! Ride On!
Great video Coach Bob! Although not an issue with most, a game changer that led me to the Spyder over Harley trike (I’ve owned 4 Harley’s) was the absence of a manual clutch on Spyder. Due to injured left wrist that has reduced my grip strength, not having to deal with a manual clutch has been the difference in being able to keep on riding. Continued 🙏 for your daughter.
Good comments on why a reverse trike versus a trike. Before I got my first RTS in 2011, I looked at other 3 wheel offerings but decided 2 wheels in the front gave me more stability than that of a Harley or Goldwing. Having ridden in the past, now banned 3 wheel ATVs, that lack of stability also drove me to my decision to go with Can-Am. Now on my second, a 2016 RTS and probably will never move up to a newer one. I personally don't like the looks of the 2020 and up Spyders whether RT or F3.
I've been thinking about getting a Can-Am spider . I was torn between Harley or getting a Spider. Thank you Couch Bob for for answering a lot of my questions. I'm going with the Spider.
I agree with you Bob, I was a Harley man. Myself had to go To a trike. Have a 17 Harley that Was getting to me. Did some checking around. And found the can am spider that worked out for me. I have A22RT limited carbon black. Thank you for your video.
After a month or so of research, and watching LOTS of your videos coach, I've decide to move from my '14 Tri-Glide to a RT Limited. Thanks for all the great info you have provided it has been hugely helpful! Not seeing dealers wanting to give me close to what kbb says for dealer trade-in on my trike so now just trying to sell it private and find a good deal on a RT Limited within the 4-state area while the season is still here!
We're all "unofficial" Can Am Ambassadors! I can't count how many opportunities I've been lucky to experience sharing the Gospel according to BRP, or as my friend calls it, the "TDF" Trike Delay Factor. I'm lucky to be married to a wonderful husband who wrenches on my 2015 F3S. He's recently reconfigured & built a back rack to fit a rear trunk for additional storage, as my machine was "naked." Can Am Spyders & Rykers are some of the best 3 wheel machines on the market, IMO. I've had a diy trike kit prior to my F3S & although it was great & kept my knees in the breeze after an accident, it was SO difficult to steer. For anyone interested or requiring the change from 2 to 3, definitely do your research. While I still love the 2 wheel ride, my daily driver is & always will be my Spyder. Although, I love my Drifter, too. :)
Prayers for your family, Bob. Love your channel. How much thought did you give to the Harley dealer network vs the spyder? The spyder is a fantastic machine, but man oh man do they have a dealership and maintenance quality issue.
Enjoyed the talk about why you bought a Spyder. I'm a motorcycle guy too. At one point I had 7 bikes. Now i am down to 2 bikes and a spyder. When I ride with the guys I ride on 2 wheels. But when I take my wife, I ride the spyder. It's an RT and it serves me well. The reason I bought it was because I dropped my bike 2 times with my wife on it, fortunately, she didn't get hurt. My legs aren't what they used to be. I test rode trikes and the way they jerk on some roads made my back hurt from up and jerking from side to side. The spyder just pretty much bounces up and down like a 2-wheels. bike. Takes a little getting used to but safe for us. Going to ride it on the Tail of the Dragon in June. Done it lots of times on 2 wheels. Will see how it goes. Enjoy the ride.
I agreed with you on many points. I had no attention of riding three wheels after of 50 years on two wheels. My major concern was leg room. Harley and Goldwings do not have leg room for me. Actually I have a 2015 and 2020 Can Am, only the 2020 gives me the legroom. Good thing, my wife wanted the 2015. I love the curves and Can Am rides very well straight or curves. Last at my age comfort is very important and Can Am meets every requirement.
Subscribed!!! Thank you for that talk, Coach Bob. I think the same way you do, love the HD’s, Honda’s, Ducati’s (Monster owner), Triumph’s, Spyder’s... like you said : I’m a motorcycle guy.
It's been some time Bob since I watched your last video, still have my spyder rt limited, a great mashine hoping to keep it for the next few years, the price for a 2019 are so steady at around 19k, wishing you and your family all the best.
I have done conversions for some hard core harley owners that had owned a triglide and they say it is the worst handling trike made. Straight axle short wheelbase harsh ride. Nothing is better than the independent suspension and a trike built around steering and handling
Another plus the Spyder had over the Harley TriGlide for me was the suspension. For the price of a Harley TriGlide you would think they could have put in better suspension than that straight axel. I rented one for a day for a test ride and it killed my lower back.
So true, having owned a HD Tri-Glide Ultra Classic, and now a Can-Am Spyder RT Limited, the Spyder blows the HD Tri-Glide out of the water in the smoothness in ride quality. And that is with the stock suspension! My Wife has back issues and said with the HD Tri-Glide, she felt every bump in the road. Now , not one riding the Spyder! Safe Travels.
Did they change anything new for 2023 on spider RT Limited 4:04 thinking about buying 22 or 23. And have you heard if they’re going to do any major changes for 2024
The changes have been predominantly colors. As for 24... I hope to see some updates.. my hopes are performance rider modes, car play and newer TFT display. Thanks for watching and commenting.
I decided that I am going to stick with the CanAm recommendations. I have many friends that have put car tires on their Spyder's with varying levels of success. So I just play it safe. 👍👍👍
Coach Bob, shouldn't you wear a different shirt for this video?, that aside I agree with you on all the points, me and my wife are delighted with our 2019 RT Limited
Good morning to you and all your viewers. I am going to get a trike. I am turning my 2017 road glide with the tilting motor works front end. Have you ever drove one of these? I took one for a test drive. Hope I am going the right way
Well I suppose if ya like a snowmobile with wheels instead of ski's and it works for ya and your family cool!!. You also maybe haven't had the other multiple problems that other spider owners have yet. Their on you tube too complaining of being in the shop all the time and no replacement parts. Or parts on order forever, and we're way past covid too!. Personally I wouldn't get caught dead or alive on one of those things. Just my thoughts, And yes own my first new late 22 Tri Glide and love the heck out of it!. But that's after owning 60+ 2 wheel bikes and 57 years of racing and touring with 750K+ under the belt.. I am also a disabled vet, with only 50% use of my legs now, So I understand....
On the Spyder and Rykers models you could add the Linq Rack to the back and create something relatively easy. We pull a little Can-Am Freedom trailer for my wife's wheelchair. She is a T7 paraplegic (complete).
Being the conversions are aftermarket it is hard to find a consistent rendering of the GW Trike. But...the GW is an awesome, powerful and well built motorcycle.
I all honesty I would say..The maintenance cost is on par with most motorcycles... The back tire ...I get roughly 11K miles out of it. Better than any of my two wheelers and the tire in really no more expensive.
64 motorcycles later…knee replacement…from Alaska to Mexico to Newfoundland…67 years old…CanAm RTL and F3 LTD have kept me on the road. The RT saved my life when a rock fell into the Big Horn pass road . That’s my story.
That's a lot of motorcycles! Wow! And the places you've been! 🤗 Glad you're still riding and having fun!
@timothybailey Assuming you're now 68 years old you only need 4 more motorcycles to make it a bike for every year on earth.
Congratulations.
Are you still alive?
@@americandude3825 $3000 damage to RT but I was unscathed. If I’d been on 2 wheels I’d be worm 🐛 food.

That's awesome, Tim!! I used to love to fly and now I always say, well can we ride there? 😁💜🤗
i miss that cold start of my Harley when the engine cracks to life and the Reinhardt true duels would reverberate off my neighbors house at 4am ( he told me it was the best alarm clock he never had to buy). i love my spyder RT-l for many of the same reasons you mentioned , my wife's balance issues after her stroke is the biggest one. awesome video and continued prayers for and family.
First! (teaching over nights this week). Praying for your family, Bob!
And I can just imagine the look on my face getting off the new Spyder in my garage, and wondering why the heck I have 2 Spyders in my garage 😳🤣🤣
Please take care and get some rest Coach Bob. Sharpen the saw 😁
Great video . RTL is an awesome machine.
Prayers for your daughter
Very informative post Bob. Helps me decide on Can Am. I will keep your daughter in my prayers. I wish her well soon. God bless you and your family. From me Richard in U.K.
Thanks for the video. I enjoy them. Praying for your Daughter....
Thank you for all your experience and input, this will definitely help me in my purchase of one. Most of all my best wishes to you and your family and God bless all of you.
I appreciate it.
Another spot on video! Thanks Coach. Can't wait to get my 21 STS out!!
I agree, I replaced my Ultra glide with a Can Am spyder RT limited, and I am absolutely satisfied
Great points, Coach. My wife and I chose Can-Ams over traditional trikes mainly for the safety aspect.
Your the best coach thanks for the great show. Your lucky you have a great wife or she you husband thank mate from Australia peace
You bring up many great points. Continued prayers for Ba-Ba and your family.
Pray that BaBa is doing well. Just came across this video as I am trying to decide as a newbie to all of this at 60 yrs old what will be best for me. I have to find a place where i can try them both. TY for making the video.
Welcome to the channel and the wonderful world of riding!!! You're going to love it. Let us know what you end up getting!!! You're amazing!!!!
Stay Safe! Ride On!
I love guitar stuff…I will definitely look you up. Thanks for watching.
Thanks! Thanks for purchasing the Can Am!! Riding with you has been fun and especially fantabulous!!😎
Love your Videos. And Love my Can Am Ryker.
Congratulations on the Spyder!!! Ride safe my friend. 👍👍👍
Great insights as always Coach Bob!
I appreciate that! Thank y'all!!!
God Bless you and your family good video.
Thank you!
Very well presented!
Thank ya!!!
Thank you!
Good morning CB3 🙏
Totally agree with you have a 2018 track limited love the way it handles!
Handling and safety were my two deciding factors on my F3L. Great video! I'm playing catch-up on all your videos. Life's been busy for the past month.
Prayers for your wife!! Is the canam dependable.
I have a pedal box for my spyder. It gives me the torque I was missing!
Fantastic video 🙏🏼🇵🇷😎🌎✈️🥳 I’m definitely purchasing one soon 🔜 ty
agree on all points
Another great video. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and experience. Prayers for you and your family.
I have buy can am spyder rtl 2024 and i hope i joy like you and your family...best regards from Croatia....
Awesome video Bob, sending prayers for your daughter, is a ls2 verso 3/4 helmet a decent one to get?
God bless you and your family🙏🤗
Thank you so much
RG3 BABY!!
I have done conversions for some hard core harley owners that had owned a triglide and they say it is the worst handling trike made. Straight axle short wheelbase harsh ride. Nothing is better than the independent suspension and a trike built around steering and handling
Good job AMBASSADOR
Another plus the Spyder had over the Harley TriGlide for me was the suspension. For the price of a Harley TriGlide you would think they could have put in better suspension than that straight axel. I rented one for a day for a test ride and it killed my lower back.
You or so right on that HarleyTriGlide. Thank you.
On the sea to sky 2023 I saw LED lights around the step plates and wondered if the RT Limited had them as well for 22 or 23
Great video... Thank you. Would you put car tires on your CanAm?
Michael from Canada
I decided that I am going to stick with the CanAm recommendations. I have many friends that have put car tires on their Spyder's with varying levels of success. So I just play it safe. 👍👍👍
Coach Bob, shouldn't you wear a different shirt for this video?, that aside I agree with you on all the points, me and my wife are delighted with our 2019 RT Limited
Good morning to you and all your viewers. I am going to get a trike. I am turning my 2017 road glide with the tilting motor works front end. Have you ever drove one of these? I took one for a test drive. Hope I am going the right way
I haven't had a chance to ride one. I have heard great reviews. When ya get it ...please share your experience. I am very interested.
I agree with you one hundred percent
Well, my F3 may not be torquey but I can take TommyG in the 1/4 mile...😂...no clutch!
Great information, am in the market for a can am f3s2023, when is the best time to buy it if am looking for a good deal”, thanks.
Glad to help...lemme know what you end up getting.
is there a way to put a rack on spyder for my folding wheelchair?
On the Spyder and Rykers models you could add the Linq Rack to the back and create something relatively easy. We pull a little Can-Am Freedom trailer for my wife's wheelchair. She is a T7 paraplegic (complete).
What about the fact that you have to shift on the can am
I didn't have to ride a conventional trike to know a Spyder would be the better handling machine.
What about the Honda gold wing with the conversion with the 2 wheels in front Instead of in the back
What about the 1800 gold wing that's got power and smooth
Being the conversions are aftermarket it is hard to find a consistent rendering of the GW Trike. But...the GW is an awesome, powerful and well built motorcycle.
I heard can am is high maintenance and the backtire wears out quickly
I all honesty I would say..The maintenance cost is on par with most motorcycles... The back tire ...I get roughly 11K miles out of it. Better than any of my two wheelers and the tire in really no more expensive.
