Off camera they call each other names and wish each other death. =) kidding, kidding.
Instead of your straps for hamstring, I used an retractable leash. I simply adjusted it to the right length for me and could use a collar on one side and the plastic handle of the leash on the other. Heading toward pain free! Thanks guys.
Thank you sooo much really helpful I have a problem from walking Walk an hour or two and finish with back pain not far because I love walking
great stuff, fun to watch and easy to understand. thank you.
I'm very grateful for the expertise and wealth of information posted on utube researching for my wife so we can watched together I cured my sciatica watching your videos. UK London. Many many many thanks.

I had a nylon strap. Donated it. Miss it now.
If I have lower back pain what should be the type of mattress ?
So Hot pads for lower back are a no?
This set a timer on my alexa lmaooo
Damn it Brad, you woke up my Alexa who in turn woke up my wife, now she’s a pain in MY BACK 🤣
What is your opinion on STEM machines? I have chronic back pain and a physical therapist used one on me. I couldn't really tell if I felt better from it or from the heat they used in conjunction.
I've had back pain for a good three years, my doctor refuses to give me a MRI. I'm at my wits end, I'm in chronic pain at night, especially when lying down, I also have numbness on the outside of my left thigh. No one can give me answers
Natasha stardust Sounds like you need to find another Doctor. Back pain sucks. Hope you find relief soon.
Natasha stardust r u ok now?
Thank you Bob and Brad you both saved my back. I was diagnosed with cysticercosis at right spine and slip disc trust me I have gone through hell sleeping with that pain all day, these exercises helped me a lot, I did this continuously for two weeks & i got results. I have to thank you both I have watched and followed your advice and boy it’s helped my back thank you
If it wasn't for you, I'd still be sitting on the sofa 99% of my day and in debilitating pain when I walked. Thank you for giving me quality of life again.
Hey B&B. I've been watching you on and off for the past few years. Your ' interesting' intro is constantly stuck in my head, thanks for that. I just wanted to let you know that I couldn't walk two days ago. The pain in my back was excrutiating. I only did your exercises for 2 days and hey presto, I can walk. I still have pain and will continue to do the exercises but the majority of the pain is gone. Are you gods? Over 40 years I've never had such quick relief. So it begs the saying, where have you been all my life? I just want to say thank you, thankyou, thankyou.
Even I started walking after watching ur video of begin walking in sciatica and my pain was 50 per gone in just 23 minutes walk... Amazing...
I substituted the yoga strap for a robe belt. Gotta improvise sometimes. Thanks for the demonstrations
"Most handsome therapist on internet...Our opinion of course"
Yours and mine...lol
Great VidEo!!!😁😂
My piriformis pain has resulted in numbness in the affected foot & leg, was told by doctors it was a pinched nerve in the spine, after 2 spinal operations & more pain a therapist explained to me about the piriformis. I find I have flare-ups when under stress which makes sense-the muscle tenses up and squeezes the nerve. Exercises help, thank you.
Im a PT aswell, they re great into their job, many good ideas, thx Bob and Brad you make PT's great again :)
You guys are brilliant, thank you so much. Bless you both.
A tip for other watchers: I use my dog’s leash as a “yoga” strap sometimes.
Although I do like the strap featured in this video, I’m frugal. Hence watching PTs on UA-cam rather than visiting one.
Thank you!
Great idea.
Thank u very much guys. Your fantastic expert in what u do
No I’m a kid and I like u guys cause uhhh my back always hurt and you guys help me with my my back by the exercise A LOT
Lower back pain and a lot of pain in my buttocks. I will try these. Thank you so much for sharing.
I learned a lot from you both for my lower back pain keep up the good work guys
Thank you guys! Two days ago, on my 25th birthday, I woke up with the most excruciating lower back pain I have ever felt.
I've broken my leg, I've had jaw realignment surgery where both sides of my lower jaw were broken and plated back together, and neither of those pains would have even compared to this back pain.
I could not move without help, and thank god I live with my mom to ironically help her, and she was able to help ME! I don't know what I would have done without her, and her cane.
I tried crawling, couldn't do it, I thought I was going to pass out, I could not stand or sit without support.
I hadn't done anything unusual the day before to cause it, I hadn't fallen or anything, and fibromyalgia does seem to run in my family, my grandpa had it, and both my mom and older sister have it.
I have thought for years that I had it, but never had a bad flare up until that day.
I took some t3 that I had leftover from something else, didn't touch it, finally my mom gave me one of her ketorilac tablets, which I have had before for migraines (I don't advocate taking other people's perscription medication, but there was no way I was getting to the doctor and the pharmacy in my condition), and that helped considerably but I still couldn't move without the cane, I couldn't move my legs well at all, I stayed in bed all day with the heating pad and just tried to get trough it.
The next day it was slightly better, but today is the first day since the first I can stretch even a bit without pain, so I thought I just have to come here and find a Bob and Brad video to help me stretch right.
And I was right. I don't necessarily feel better than I did before stretching, but I think it helped because I do feel a bit more flexible again and the pain didn't get worse from it.
Now I'd say it's pretty mild, I wouldn't feel the need to take even over the counter pain meds for it so far today, and I think the stretches will help it continue to ease until I feel normal again. Thank you guys for being reliable sources of information on how to do these things right, I didn't want to go by somebody else and have them guide me wrong that's for sure. Much appreciation here.
Doriana.D r u back to normal now?
Bob + Brad are the best! I love watching these videos . I recently experienced a debilitating back spasm and was able to recover using their tips along with other methods. If they were in my state I’d definitely want them as my doctors.
Thank u Bob and Brad .I do not know very good English, yet I watch your video. If I understand by speaking something, I can understand it by watching something. Your information is very correct for back pain.
I'm cracking up. I rewound at the Alexa part and my Alexa told a joke. Hahaha. I haven't finished watching yet. Was laughing to hard to hear. Just had to share :-) Cary on. .
Thank you so much i have degenerative disc disease
I have suddenly started to get severe back pain upon standing and walking about 3 Years ago. I know I didn’t do anything physical to cause it. I had a hysterectomy in 2013 and looked up if THAT may be the cause of this horrible backache. It’s really making my life miserable. I found you two on here and pray if I follow your exercises it will help. I can’t do anything anymore because of this pain when I’m up and about.
thanks for the info! child's pose/Yoga helps alot too!
Must need video in my strengthening and stretching arsenal. I deal with chronic low back pain. Thanks dudes!
how did you know my back hurts? thanks you two!
Thank so much if anything the laughter I got out of this video helped with the pain, I'm laying here on an ice pack with my legs on four pillows, completely forgot about the extreme back pain😂😂🤣🤣👍👏!!! Great video thanks again!
Thank you.
Dear the most famous physical therapists on the internet,
Would you consider covering low-back pain due to periods and/or PMS?
You solve almost all my pain problems, except for this hindering low-back pain I'm living through right now. It feels like my body is about to split into two halves - that my lower back is too weak to sustain my upper body weight. I can't stand tall, especially not when I look down (as my head adds forward weight on my lower back muscles) or lean forward.
I DO feel it getting better with certain moves or massage spots, but I'm not able to nail them! Please help!
Sincerely,
The 80% of women with period pain, including low-back pain
I made my own yoga strap with the loops for hands using belt-webbing from the fabric store. Thank you for sharing these exercises!
Thanks for another great video. For whatever reason I stopped doing stretches ( includes hamstring stretch with green strap) and exercises for my knees. Guess what!! I started to get pain in lower back. Dawned on me, that I was working core while doing knee exercises. So, a few weeks after getting back to stretches/ exercises, bingo, back felt better!!! So , so true , strong core makes for strong back muscles, right ?? 😀
maria elena jimenez right!!!
I'm a runner and I cycle a lot, lower back pain was a real issue for me, but I started doing these exercises after my my workouts and before bed and it really changed my quality of life.
Bob and Brad thank you both so much I really enjoy your company - ideal for oldies like me nice and gentle I am suffering every night from restless leg syndrome desperate tried everything nothing works a miracle from you might work may God bless and keep you helping so many . Maureen
My son was really inspired by both of you , he chose to study physiotherapy.😊 Thank you for always giving expert advice. 🙏🎉🎉
I have a question about leg wedges. Do they need to be high enough to get the knees at a 90 degree angle? I'm remembering a chair that was sold as a 90-90 chair because when you reclined it your hips and knees were at 90 degrees which I assumed is optimal?
QUIT hollering at your Alexa. Mine sits right by my TV and when you say Alexa mine responds. Sometimes she doesn't hear you right and turns my TV off. Very frustrating.
Thank you guys so much. I'm a LPTA and I basically provide all treatment for my patients in an outpatient clinic. I've learned so much from you guys and I am getting amazing results with my patients
My mom is trying pray for her
Hello, Bob and Brad. I went through Diastometomyelia surgery at lumbar level 11 years back, I have scoliosis too.2 months back I suffered a lot from sciatica due to herniation at lumbar level. There's a bit of numbness as I walk a mile in my calf now as well otherwise I am completely cured from sciatica. Mention some exercise which are fit for my physical condition. I have seen almost all of your videos so that it's very easy for me to point out without a special video related to my condition.
Thanks a lot for being on internet.
I’m sorry if you have already covered this, but thoughts on back braces? And any recommendations
Wonderful video as always! Congrats on 350k subs! Your guy's channel has grown so fast!
Now they almost have 2 mil!! 🎊 🎉
Wouldn't it be weird if Bob and Brad despised each other off camera? lol I'm just kidding.
Good stuff. But would have helped more too if you had mentioned how many reps to do of each of those exercises, how long to hold those positions for and how frequently to them (guess daily?)
Your channel brings so much value. I'm in my late 30s and hope you guys are still around in my senior years.
Every patient is different.Exercises has to be started according to patient 's status of problem. So don't misguided the people because they can be harmed. There is no one shoes which fits all.
2 minutes in and I love you guys!!!!!
I have scoliosis. My back is shaped like letter S, 20 degrees. I have stopped my physical rehab few years ago. Please help me relieve this pain
What does it mean when your back feels a lot better during these stretches and you have no pain at all doing them, but a few hours later you’re in agony?
Nick Beach Pedrin it just means that the muscles are not used to being stretched but pls DON'T stop doing them n u will see the pain vainishing after few days
Wonderful video!
Gd job finally Alexa worked your jokes 🤠 are better yh hi Brad 🙂🙏🙏
You guys should check out fasting and autophagy! When you fast your body breaks down sick or dead cells including scar tissue. Could have some applications in your practice.
Is it normal to crack your mid to upper back when you sneeze while slightly bent over
I have seen these guys before regarding shoulders issues and I liked the lower back exercises. Count me in as a subscriber!!
quit watching because they kept saying Alexa and my echo keeps going off
Do you have any advice on what exercises I should do to help with the Lumbar ortheopenia treatment sir?
I have been watching you guys a year or so, I wish I had found you guys sooner, I had tried yoga and ended up in urgent care! I had no idea it could even be painful! Found out I had awhole lot more going on in my back than I thought . I’ve learned so much from you guys and I’m truly grateful
Thank you for helping my lower back. I like doing nothing and lying on the wedge.
I was just going to say you sell exercise bands and I don't see any videos with you using them and then I came across this one
5 years later now.
Have you guys figured out how to fix a broken heart ?
Thank you so much! This is so helpful!
Picking up balls to throw to my dogs whoops .working through this pinch
What of it hurts both ways you rock side the side?? What will be the next steps?
Your volume is so low I couldn't understand most of your presentation.
Love your videos, they were a huge help last year when I over did some glut-ham raises and had sciatica pain. But now I’ve had a dull ache at the top of my lumbar spine for a few weeks. The stretches here have helped some but haven’t totally gotten rid of it. What else can I do??
I’ve got yoga mats, straps, trapeze, and blocks. I’ve got foam rollers and a modern bed of nails. Yet I still feel like my muscles are tight / my entire back needs to be cracked.
I’m enjoying your posts so much: Humour is spot on and relaxes this virtual patient into the session, totally important, so many up-tight PT’s. Technically right on, it works for me every time. BTW my Alexa is responding to all your commands :). Keep it up Bob and Brad, love you to bits ! John - London England.
It makes a lot of difference watching trained professional, enthusiastic about their work. Beware the enthusiastic lay-person with unknowingly bad form, and a real lack of knowledge to flesh out the nuance of process: both in healing and strengthening. One could also bend the knees to support keeping the back straight, in that last bending at the hips pick-up strategy. Strengthen and stretch all muscle groups. We need them in good condition, for life! Love these guys!
Thanks for the golf pickup. I have bad knees and a bad back.
You guys are hilarious....like Abbot and Costello....very serious stuff though
Thanks!
You guys are great! Thank you for the advice and humor! I like to say I'm young at heart, but my back keeps reminding me that I'm officially aging and I can't keep ignoring my core and lower back!
I like that attitude! Care-free, yet attentive
you guys are doing a very good job. I watch your videos everyday. please show exercises to strengthen nervous system.
You kept setting off my echo devices in this video! Reminded me of one of the funniest April Fools gags from the tonight show....... It was a little annoying though! Haha!
Pool Construction fucked my back up 😫
I am a Nurse Practitioner and I recommend my patients to y’all.
Bob- In that back pain study you mentioned, the three muscles were hamstrings, QL, and what is the third ? Piriformis?
Love you guys!
My Alexa heard Bob ask for a 10 minute timer and she set a timer too 😹😹😹.
Bob's a pain cuz he parts his hair in the middle. Or is it Brad?
But thx u sooo much with the lower back pain exercises
You guys are adorable! I tweaked my back a week ago and a visit to the chiropractor only made it worse. Looking forward to trying out your tips (along with plenty of Yoga with Adriene back pain routines) to get things on the mend. Thanks for not only the useful information, but for presenting it in such a joyful playful way.
I used to have a ball, time to get another one ,thanks guy, s
I really enjoy these videos, you make them fun to watch.
Excellent Video! Forgive me for butting in, I would appreciate your thoughts. Have you tried - Monatalie Back Barfaroni (erm, check it on google should be there)? It is a smashing one of a kind guide for discovering how to naturally kill any kind of back pain without the headache. Ive heard some great things about it and my friend Sam after many years got great results with it.
Hound Life Vlogs x
Thanks so much, you two! I look forward to a healthy and much improved back in following these seven great exercises/tips. God bless!
Google Saturday Night Live's Alexis spoof. Quite comical.
How many times a day or how many times a week is recommended
Love your videos, thank goodness someone out there has a sense of humour!
i swear by the name of god nothing works.
