    Another great video. Awesome 👌
    It is obvious that A95l is the best
    In terms of picture quality of S95c, the filmmaker mode makes it the darker tv. S95c it's brighter overall, especially in colors
    I watched Gantz:o on Netflix yesterday night, which is hd quality and it wasn't like this on your video. This tv is much stronger from what you showed

      @geofousteris2669. Hey nice to hear from you again. The S95c is the brightest tv in gaming and in other preset modes like standard but filmmaker seems to be dimmed down more. And I know incan make it brighter with changing the gamma and shadow details but what happens or at least what I notice happens is the loss in details and it raises blacks to aggressively. I just think that it's a little harder to make it look better in HD content over the A95L and G3. That's all. It's a totally different story in gaming and 4k uhd hdr content. Cause the S95C shines in those areas.

    I have the S95C as a PC monitor with the anapeak mod. Reaching actual 2000 nits @ 3% brightness and its has the lowest inputlag with 4k144hz. It is the best TV for PC usage. But for general usage, with a primary focus on movies or TV, the A95L is surely the best one. But for my specific usecase the S95C is simply better. Always get the hardware that is best suited for YOU. Dont religiously follow reviews or forums.

      @szpip1564. Hey thank you for the comment and checking out the video. I have disclosed my settings in the video. So if it is misleading, it's because you are judging it by either the content you are watching not being steamed and upscaled at the same time and your not in filmmaker mode. I can assure you that if you have the same settings, streaming non 4k non hdr content and while being in filmmaker mode, you will see the S95C will generally be the dimmer of the 2 tvs. But yes to your point, the S95c is generally the same in brightness and on top of that fact has even more color for the most part in 4k hdr content whether streamed or playing a physical 4k uhd hdr disc. Then that is when the S95C is best at what it can do in brightness and color

    This is probably one of the most important comparisons in my research for a new tv. I nearly purchased an S95C today, but saw a side by side comparison of an A95 next to a second top tier Samsung (micro LED) playing a random upscaled HD tv show. The Samsung could not render detail visible on the A95 in things like hair and details in buildings like bricks, filling in these areas with suggestive mushy blobs. I realised that I need to do more research before buying, as upscaling is going to be so important for about 90% of what we watch. Despite a massively discounted S95C, it’s looking like it will have to be an investment of an A95. Yes the s95c looks fantastic playing 4K content, but I believe this will be a minority of our viewing until the programming catches up.

      @Williammokrynski1305. Hey, thank you for the comment and checking out the video. Means allot. Please keep in mind that not only in this video was I running a lower resolution comparison but it was also streaming. Which loses even more details due to lower bit rate content capabilities of the streaming platform. I think if you get let's say a 1080 DVD blue ray. It may look a little better on the S95C, but it will also look that much better with the A95L.

    The A95L is bright as the Sun ☀but I gotta say earlier I haven't given the G3 enough credits. The depth and upscaling are Best in Class, even outperforming the A95L. Hey @ogcod great video! I'm looking for a 55 inch wall mounted tv for the bedroom that will use the tv's speakers! Content is a mix of lower quality streaming, hockey games and movies using Firestick 4k max! Im debating between the Sony A95L and the LG G3, which one would you recommend? Thanks!

    • @consumerreview2k
      @consumerreview2k  9 місяців тому +1

      @HiddenGhost00. Hey nice to hear from you again. My guess is that since you aren't bringing up a price point, budget may possibly not matter. You also mentioned you will be using the tv speakers when using the tvs which sounds like you will not be purchasing external speakers to add to the tv sound. If that is the case and upscaling quality is important to you, I would recommend the A95L. the xr clear processing is great for low bit and low resolution streaming. Sound quality is better, I only mention this because these sound like the key factors that are important to you only because you specifically brought those up. If you want watch hockey allot the g3 looks good because of its puity in white and the hockey ring will look awesome. Plus the g3 will automatically come with the wall mount. So that saves you money. But again you didn't bring up budget, or the fact that you want pure whites, or the fact that you were also going to add external speakers. So I think because of the fact your use case is very mixed, and both tvs are good for you, the A95L is better because the speakers, and upscaling is better.

    • @HiddenGhost00
      @HiddenGhost00 9 місяців тому +1

      @@consumerreview2k Correct, no external speakers, wall mount is a must, pure white preferably! If I can't find the A95L, do I get the G3 or go to the next best Sony, the A80L?

    • @consumerreview2k
      @consumerreview2k  9 місяців тому

      @HiddenGhost00 that's a tough one. It depends on how important the xr clear is and if you want the better sound sound of the A80L. Because they both will have the pure white your looking for being that they are both panels from LG. I know that's not the full reason why you get the pure whites as they will have different looks to them but they are both pushed brightness and color the same way in terms if the panel technology with the white sub pixel. So again if the better sound and xr clear processing is not as important to you then the lg g3 is awesome. Comes with the wall mount prioritized for the g3 and processing is just as good as sonys. The difference is marginal. Noticeable but marginal vs the A80L. Plus at that point the good thing about the g3 is the 4x 2.1 hdmi ports. I know you didn't mention if that was a priority or not but at least you still get extra 2.1ports

    Thanks @ogcod for these videos; they're fantastic for folks like myself debating between these TVs.
    I think I'm down for the A95L but I have a nagging feeling that the reduced brightness versus the G3 or the more aggressive ABL will annoy me. However it looks like in this video the A95L is the brightest? Is the LG turned down or something? I have an LG 2016 B6 OLED with shoddy brightness and aggressive ABL and it's always been my main annoyance with the TV.

      @ceeK2. Hey thank you for the comment and checking out the video on. Means allot. The G3 is typically brighter then the A95L in most scenarios. But this is a very specific comparison. The g3 is more dim when upscaling hd content via streaming in low but bit rate video content specifically in filmmaker mode. The A95L and G3 Are more equal in brightness when playing hdr 4k content. And at more times then not the g3 tends to be the brighter tv in those comparisons

      I just upgraded my B6 to a few TVs, 2 I took back, the S90C I’m keeping, I think. I tried the A95K and it was super impressive, but it had issues. Then I tried the c3 and it was lackluster, so much so I felt like it was only a small upgrade over the b6. The Samsung, which I found with the 2nd gen panel was not just brighter, but had a lot more detail. It has vivid, but that’s too overpowering, so I mainly watch it in standard mode. Ps all the TVs this year are a little buggy.

      @abelramos8652 they are both very important to those who primarily watch older content that was made in SDR. It smoothes out the the background to make older sdr content look more clean and clear and does so by making it look natural. That is a difficult task fir a processor to do and upscaling details in low bit rate content helps with being able to help prevent as much banding as possible. Especially I'm dark scenes. Which is very noticeable if the tv is not capable of processing those things out of the scenes you are watching.

In other comparison tests they give the impression that they are very close, but your demo clearly demonstrate that the Samsung is the dimest of all three by a mile. I don’t understand how they think that Samsung is very close just a very poor comparison to the LG & Sony.

      @consumerreview2k  10 місяців тому +2

      @amitavraja3385. Hey thank yiu for the comment and checking out the video. For the most part your right they are very similar. Especially the A95L and S95C. But for some reason even to my own surprise, specifically in uoscaling content combined with filmmaker mode, the S95c seemed to be the dimmer tv of the 3. Now you can brighten it uo by bossting your midtones/gamma. And you can change other settings too. But just have to be cognizant of the fact that it can also blow out other details in highlights and raise blacks. So if your not into raising black levels just try your best to fine those shadow details without losing details that's all. It takes some time. And if you really want it done in a more refined way for best color accuracy and picture accuracy. Getting the tv calibrated by a good calibrator is the way to go. Otherwise you can get 90 to 95% of the way there by just taking the time to fine tune it yourself.

    All these TVs have big cons. The Sony is great but way too expensive. The LG requires wall mounting because the LG stand tilts the TV. The Samsung has a narrow yet deep and cheap looking stand, hard to place a soundbar in front and weight distribution all in the center which might be risky for the tv bench. My current TV, the 2016 ks9800 has a much more premium stand where the soundbar is designed to be on top of it. If either the a95l or a80l had good offers I would go for one of those but even the a80l is way more expensive than the s90c and c3 in my country. If the G3 had a good stand I would pick that one but I don't want to purchase some third party stand that isn't available in my country. I guess that leaves the C3 but everybody says it's a big downgrade in picture quality compared to the s90c, and I also think the stand looks a bit narrow on that one but better than the s90c, and at least there's room to put a soundbar in front. I could wait until next years black friday sales but I will probably have the same dilemma then lol. Or see if the sonys go down more in price but I heard they rarely have good offers. I mostly game and watch some soccer and netflix/movies.
