Hey Justin as always I love the build! What did you do to make your hayabusa more driver friendly? What I mean by that is did you do anything to the gas pedal to make it easier to start off from a stop? Is there any recommendations as to setting up the shifting? How did you achieve good cooling for the hayabusa? I am tackling a busa build in the porsche 356 replica, any wisdom you could through my way would be appreciated!
I made a larger throttle cable wheel and welded it right on the factory smaller one-that made it way way easier to drive. I just ran linkage to a shifter in the car. i use the factory metro radiator, Its like a half radiator, and a single busa electric fan. It'll get hot when running at the track sometimes but fine driving around.
@@JustinGoinsfixit I figured, I just always liked the feel of hand clutches, and always thought it would be cool in a car that had low enough clutch forces
@JustinGoinsfixit I’m interested in this swap. I don’t have the skills to build it though, but enough money. What would this full swap/conversion cost with parts and labor? And what all is necessary?
A hayabusa bike and a small car that isent rusty and a person with alot of time and enough skill to make it work. I went a little overboard but $10K ish would get the motor in the car right and driving good. I don't know what the guy doing the project would cost.
What was the top speed of it I have been always wanting to know the top speed of a bike motor inna car from stock or boosted and does it still accelerate as fast as the bike?
It accelerates very fast but not as fast as a bike, using math the top speed is 154 at redline. Iv only had it around 125ish. I went to streetcartakover and ran 130 rollon class was running 10s at 113mph and meeting up with the other guys at the end and they where running 130mph very quick but weaker on the top end with this setup. I since got a way bigger turbo, rods, e85 switch etc..but yet to upload any of that busy summer. Thanks for checking it out.
@@JustinGoinsfixit can u tell me how long this last u ive always fear that what's the largest amount of psi it can take I'm planning to make one 1000hp or 1200hp my range but idk if its possible and I WOULD like to know if it is and are u saying the max speed is 150mph?
@@anthonylindsay1605 yes max speed is 154mph in 6th gear at 11,300rpm according to math. I was running 22psi on 93 with 9:1 ratio most of this summer racing probably 350 or alittle more hp. and i kept wanting more so i was around 30psi and burned 2 of my pistons up recently. @@JustinGoinsfixit Hmm I guess I'll stop at 800hp so yours issa stock motor ? And what type of wheels shall I use grippy or semi slicks just want a good start I'm sorry I'm just a bit hyped up that I'm gonna make sum like this😅🙏 anyways appreciate your answers
Iac valve is removed and i have it shut off in the ecu so i could get enough vacume for the brake booster. Cold startup idles ruff after warmed up idles perfect. Wot is all that matters.
Im not really sure, its really quick. Iv had it to the track a couple times, im terrible at launching it. It really shined on the sct roll on races with this setup. Was 10s at only 113 -114mph . Very quick but runs out at the top end, turbo was to small.
@@whiteboiwyatt i have some videos building it on my channel. Its a e30 bmw rear subframe. has a yoke on the hayabusa motor on the output shaft and a 2 piece driveshaft to the rearend.
Its just under 1800lbs with me in it. Well the motor is solid mounted, i welded a drivshaft tunnel in and the rear was rebuild with square stock, and weld in cage. the motor is low tourqe high hp.
Someday i will sell this one, i never really keep anything for very long. Still have more i can do ,in the prosses of rebilding the motor with way bigger turbo, rods e85 switch etc. 600hp is my goal. But only building one lol. Thanks
yes still have it, melted the pistons racing. got a bunch of crazy parts to put it back together with but havent been feeling like working on it. hope to have it racing again next season.
That is some superbike powered Geo Metro. If this reaches almost 200mph, that is one fast compact car!
been waiting for this, its everything i was hoping for and more.
That’s dope asf man definitely inspirational thank you!
Love love love how you put the busa gauges in there
Damned impressive!!! 🔥🔥I salute your build, Sir 👊👊
Need more videos of this. It's neat
Hell yes , great job , looks quick af .
you look like a mad scientist with this car
That is one of the most insane rides I've ever witnessed l.
Busa for life! Love mine.
Gotta go to the drag strip and get a quarter mile time I wanna see this badass build
I'm so jealous! It's one of my life goals to sup up my Metro!
"It's stock officer, I swear"
Yeah this this thing is sick!
amazing!
Bro, this is AMAZING
Amazing project!. How fast does it go?
Duuuuude, sweeet!!

Hey was up bro love what you did to that geo hit me up man I have one just sitting at home my pops use to drive
My moms first car was a group metro
is there a reason you didn't use the hand clutch? did you beef up the clutch/springs?
