Oh this is BEAUTIFUL, I adore how you draw these people, so expressive yet realistic! I love the 40s aesthetic mixed with the more mythical look, it captures the mood of the song excellently. Well done!
Okay, so the very first one I watched was the mind electric animatic because I found it in my recommended, then I saw you were doing the whole album so I'm watching now. I love the foreshadowing details in this, your artstyle is amazing as is your story telling.
I CANNOT express in words how much I admire your use of using grayscale / dark colours for these animatics because I feel this type of colouring has always fit the album so well-- and it really just makes me /feel/ the animatic, yknow? I also love the way you illustrated the sirens in this song!! isle unto thyself is my favourite of H:PII track next to white ball, this animatic was so exciting to watch
It starts off exactly how the first one ended which I love, I first thought the calligraphic text was a font but I realised this is your handwriting (so pretty)!!! I am amazed by your 40s paper doll aesthetic + old book illustrations of ancient romans, what a nice style. Big fan of color palette of grays+ rainbow in the background through the whole series, just like the album cover
Hey, I was wondering if you would ever like to see a live action faithful to these animations or if you'd like to keep the animations the way they are. Just curious as I could see all of this being acted out
I’ve thought of how a live action version of this would look quite a lot actually haha! I like thinking about who I would cast and what form it would take if it was live action. (like movie, series, musical) but yeah!
I don’t know if I would really ever pursue making a live action version of these though as animation for me is more accessible but it’s definitely something I like thinking about!
So, I’m pretty sure something like fate is bringing these two together, expecting everything to be perfect, which as far as I know, they are

@@jabbiedraws I was asking because I think it's nice to imagine what this would look like if there was a team working on a live action version of it.
