@@Smilesalott if you get a chance you should venture off to cruizin the coast its coming up Oct 6/13 on the Mississippi gulf coast over 10 thousand classics are supposed to be there it the biggest block party in the world if you make it look for me I have a 1968 mercury montego station wagon with lots of goods you can take it for a drive since you have a fondness for wagons. Keep up the good videos

@@Smilesalott everything all the coast is expensive if you stay along I10 it's cheaper there are few 🐀 raty places on the coast do a internet search for places to stay on the Mississippi gulf coast use the dates of cruzin the coast the most expensive place is the hard Rock and the food down there is fabulous bring lots 🔋 batteries for your recorder and patience you will see stuff that will make you say WTH were they thinking it will be windy there coming off the gulf of Mexico maybe a little rain and cool temp almost every eating place on US90 has a deck so you can still watch the cars as you eat and bunches of place along the road to set in a chair and watch the cars if you go on the website for cruzin the coast you can find pictures from the passed events the have live bands playing at some spots
It is fun til the big trucks come out and take over the strip at night. I really don’t know why they want to put a stop to this great car show. Somehow it comes down to $$ & taxes.
Oh my. That was a long drive for what you got to see. We were disappointed too. Usually in the evening when the cars would get out and cruise was my fave, but not this year, it was a “big truck” takeover. I think they should have that truck show at a different time. Hope you made it back safely. Are there any big shows in Florida other than the Daytona Turkey Run? We plan to visit it again this year.

We are trying to decide which part of those places to stay while we visit the show. Anyplace we should stay away from? Thanks for the info.

Drove up from Florida to Spring Rod Run and was very disappointed. Looks like a lot of other people were too. The trucks have taken over.
