Great video. I can't get a Post and Slot configuration to work. Imagine an arm with a slot machined into it that when lateral force is applied the arm can move but, is constrained by the post or peg. Hopefully my description was clear enough.

Thanks for a great video. One thing. I do not have scale menu in my sketchy physics. How did you scaled down the hinge? Where does that scale menu comes from? Thanks.

OK, answering my own post. I see you are using MSPhysics. Not SketchyPhysics.

Anyone experience a section plane cutting through your model and making it slowly disappear when physics are enabled? Not right away, but after manipulating an object for a few seconds.
Edit: Found a post by Anton explaining that this is caused by objects falling off the static plane into infinity. Once I made sure all objects were grouped and assigned through MSPhysics, the problem went away. One model gave me fits until I realized that a hidden object was falling and I never saw it, lol. I discovered the culprit by turning on "view hidden geometry."

I attempted to make a 'chain' but when I try to 'move' it. The inner chain links are stuck. It's like they are locked to an axis or something.

I created something similar to this but when I push play it starts shaking and the joints eventually shake themselves apart. It looks like the joints are made of rubber instead of solid like in your model. What am I doing wrong?

Try assigning them a similar mass. The less the mass difference between the connected objects the stronger the joints become. The mass can be changed by selecting the body, opening MSPhysics UI, changing the weight control option to mass, and setting the desired mass.

I'm a novice at this but I would love to know (exactly how) the hinge on the yellow and green is joined so that it can move independently. Could you explain this process Anton - or point me to a (free) manual somewhere so that I can learn to do it myself? Funky torque wrench, btw! ;)

To connect/disconnect groups with joints, select the joint connection tool, click on a desired joint, hold Ctrl/Shift, and then click on a group to be connected/disconnected.
I will add the caption for that into the video.
