I’m not even religious but I love Chaps. Hearing the evening prayer while I’m in my rack every night on deployment just felt good, even when they talked about weird stuff lol. I think one of our Chaps was quoting Katy Perry and Avril Lavigne for a week.
A chaplain is there for anybody who might need help. They are gifted & know how to help, won`t push or judge - simply offer guide. One helped me once and overwhelmingly took at least a 100 pound load off my back.
Vincent Robert Capodanno Jr., M.M. (February 13, 1929 - September 4, 1967) was a Catholic priest and Maryknoll Missioner killed in action while serving as a Navy chaplain with a Marine Corps infantry unit during the Vietnam War. He was a posthumous recipient of America's highest military decoration, the Medal of Honor, for heroic actions above and beyond the call of duty. The Catholic Church has declared him a Servant of God, the first of the four stages toward possible sainthood.
Only bc of the cold war, was there been hints at religion in government and the united states. But like the other commenter said, the united states by de facto isnt a religious state or so to say, for example like the middle east are government bodies that align themselves with their religious practices and incorporate it into the government. But here, like out founding fathers said, “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion.” And you can thank the Soviets for making the U.S show a more religious side…

Glad to see there are Catholic Priests able to celebrate Mass for them.

Gods being taken out of our schools and our Government. Glad our Military sees the importance of God!
Separation of church and state has always been a thing.

What are the working hrs
You might have regular working hours, but truly, working hours are whatever they need to be. If you have to work 20 hours straight, so be it.
