I want one, but it's $3k, once you add the good LCD panel, RAM, and the extra battery. I could buy three normal laptops for that price. Which is a shame, because I love the easy parts interchangeability and the idea of having a modern laptop with a serial port and Blu-Ray drive. I don't need the durability so much as I want the flexibility of a laptop like this.
I WOULD GO for the Dell Latitude Rugged 5420. More durable and quality. Problems I had with the CF-54/55 is the front latch breaks and is not quality made. And when you replace it, you have to replace the whole LCD screen because the latch is built into to front bezel and LCD. Battery also does not last. Junk for a pricey laptop in my OPINION.
