Cast metal is molten metal “poured” into a mold. When you say, “these bars are poured, I thought they were cast”, makes me scratch my head and wonder if you know what you are talking about. Cast or poured, basically the same thing in this instance.
Not really. "Poured" is melting metal and then pouring it into a mould. "Cast" is putting weighed silver shot into a mould and "baking" it to melt it. This is why these cast bars do not have the poured cooling lines around the edge. I do mis-speak all the time though, so its never wrong to suspect that I am an idiot LOL.
I'll be touring the factory so I'll have some videos. I dont know of a silver one, but here is one with gold. ua-cam.com/video/FCGf_POjxKM/v-deo.htmlsi=2Pi9mdRwRTO0Em61&t=640
@@WorldMoneyWins I watched this video and have still seen no example of this “baking” you talk of. Pouring the molten metal into a mold is “casting” it. Pouring and casting are one and the same thing, why can’t you just admit that that you got it wrong?!!
I set the time stamp top show the shot being poured into the moulds in a few seconds. They then put the lid on and it conveys through a furnace. Did you not see that? On the other end they dump out the bar.
Very nice pick-ups.. Unfortunately I'm not taking advantage of any sale's on PM. I Think I'm going to lay low the rest of the year and come out swinging like a wild man the first of the year. I'm with you on the 5ozt bars is my favorite as well. 🇺🇲🦅⚖️🗽
I DID do some black friday week buying. In 2025 I plan on scheduled buying on budget monthly. First Mint is a neat company. I might have to start stacking their goodies and opportunities. From Mine to Mint is a great concept.
That's a great deal there. I usually have a few grand in the US for such opportunities, but on this occasion my US funds are very low after my last gold purchase.
One of the best mining companies out there these days, IMO. Check out Keith Neumeyer's recent presentations at the Gold Show in Frankfurt, Germany. Agree, the 5oz bars are a favourite !

Casting is pouring, I have never heard of anyone “baking” metal as you describe. Do you have a link to back this claim up?

Ya, if you done have a sigma pro or an XRF, it can be very risky. I wouldnt do it if I didnt have the means to verify.
Very nice bars you got there. Looks like a quality product! Thanks for sharing.
