Fixing a hood that won't pop up

the hood on my 2019 Alfa Giulia was not popping up when I pulled the release. it would unlatch but I had to pry it open with my fingers. in this video I show you how to fix it with no tools

You have to lift from the corner passenger side.

What if my hood keeps opening to easily

Question.... my lever inside the car never fully retracts once I pull it. I'm always worried it will release but never has. I'm sure it's a small adjustment.

Not sure about this one. Have not had that issue before. Are you sure it doesn't retract once you lift the hood?

What about reverse? Mine won’t close. I noticed the bottom part of the latch isn’t going up. I can move it either way a flat head screw driver and then close the hood…but then I run into it not opening
The cable is lose inside at the handle

I'm not sure. I have not experienced that issue. The cable may have detached or snapped going to the latch. Not sure if there is an adjustment

The cable for the passenger side broke where could I get a new one

You could try ebay for a used one otherwise it's going to have to be from dealer

dry scissors are reason for this, add some wd40, problem should gone.

Sometimes if the rubber stops are too far out the hood won't close but since you say you already tried adjusting without success it might be an issue with the latch itself.
