- The gargantuan and Legendary Trento-Bondone HillClimb with over 17Km in Northern Italy was the 4th Round of the European HillClimb Championship and as usual was one of the ultimate Challenges of this kind of Sport. Comparable to Pikes Peak in size and with everything decided on a Single Run, here we saw the triumphant return of one the Fastest Monsters in Europe, leaving it its wake what many consider the biggest dominator of HillClimb Racing in Europe. Yes! It makes me so proud that the little car that i own makes the best time! ... well that is a monster in conparison to my stock 75 hp x1/9... but is the same almost 50 year old model and is a blast to drive

I do wonder why not more people run less wide cars, feels like you would gain a lot of time using something that isn't half the width of the road they're travelling on.

The Golf wasn't driven cleanly. It was kinda all over the place.

Slow plenty tight turns hill climb will favor small lighter cars all the time. The X1/9 handled like there was a rail every line it took. I miss my low rent interior Evo VIII, such a fun car to drive, even more so than my equally missed S2K.

Over 17km+, tiny Corner& lots of hairpin ,that makes these lightweight cars moves faster than modern race car

@@Lilou34650 Took years to Dondi for 10:13 record run he did in 2019. so i’m sure Schagerl would be able to cut at least 20-30 seconds next time on Trento.
That's a big vehicle to pull around in front wheel drive.

Probably not. Most of the modern 4cyl turbo race cars sound like the RS3 LMS. Especially WTCR cars

There are lots of tight hairpins in trento bondone. Maybe that's why😅

First time ever on Trento with very limited track knowledge.
It's hilarious how bad the Lamborghini's acceleration is. Those Porsche's just stuck to the road like glue. I absolutely love any form of the GT3. They're such sick cars.
Interesting. The often dominant TFSI-R doesn't seem to do as well on tight tracks.
It does well on those known to the driver and this was the very first time it ever raced on Trento.

This one wasn't that interesting for me, rather it made me a bit sad to see how much off-the-shelf racecars were in this top 15.
I like seeing people customizing their cars to make them faster, rather than going to the nearest dealership and spending a bunch of money

Well, if you pay attention he only slides after crashing and popping his right front tyre. He was sliding to cope with the understeering causes by that
I start to believe that the fastest hill climb car is that little fiat, even faster than reito Meisel's Mercedes or Karl Schagerl's golf, and this conclusion is NOT just from this specific hill climb
I won’t jump to that conclusion yet.
It would be really nice to see Manuel Dondi compete with Karl and Reto at St Agatha or Mickhausen.
