This is EXTREMELY helpful. I could not figure how to take the quick connect off. I did not install the faucet so this little thing had me stumped and I could not find a video on it.
This was a big help to me! My faucet was loose and I couldn't figure out how to get the hose out of the way so I could tighten the nut. Pretty cool how everything can be removed without tools.

Moen has the best customer service, bar none! If anything goes wrong with their faucets they will provide parts with no questions asked. They shipped me parts 2 times on with leaking faucet parts on two separate 20 year old faucets.

This was the third video I watched, and the one that finally helped. I couldn't figure out how to get the old one off, the other videos had a PUSH quick release which didn't resemble mine at all. This one is identical however. Having said that, I couldn't see what you did with your fingers, the camera was not on it when you released it! So, by trial and error and by guessing, I was finally able to squeeze those two tabs on the other side and force them through. Wasn't as easy as you made it look (or didn't make it look, LOL). Thank you. At the end, it was very helpful and I was able to replace my leaky hose that Moen was good enough to provide to me under warranty.
Thanks but who are you talking to? Does/did your old one pull out and retract OK? Got it, cellphone your now talking to us...! "Pro Tip" cute and great job with the fix! Just an FYI for other's, that electric outlet wasn't a ground fault outlet, better to unplug for safety.

Yes, It did. Just make sure that you put the weight back on the new hose, so it will retract properly.
The connection just below the plastic part is leaking. There is a weight at the bottom. Can this be repaired or should it be repaired.
Mine is leaking, too. Water drops from that black plastic piece...
