I’ve done this so many times from below not realizing I could just pull the whole thing out. I knew there had to be a better way we way! Thank you. You saved me big time.
Thank you! I couldn’t get this damn sink to stand back up and as a woman who lives alone, I don’t always feel comfortable with a strange man in my house when I call for a repair. Don’t get me wrong, I appreciate a tradesman but you get what you and I’ve gotten some weirdos so this tool ❤❤❤❤
Moen currently sells their faucets with the tools included, but your video gave me motivation to do it. Recently purchased a moen faucet and they have the option of tightening it even more with a screwdriver. So that’s fixed. Keep up the good videos!!!
Thank you so much for creating and sharing that helpful DIY video! Seems straight forward…because it’s a must I tighten it myself today. Wish I had that tool to tighten it with.. it’s a tight spot!
Best tool out there. Worth the money. Problem is the cheap plastic nut that ships with the faucet will loosen again. Hoping for better luck with the oem metal nuts that are available by moen in most plumbing isles.
Thank u every video showed a piece I didn’t have and this is it I’ve been under this sink for two days trying to figure it out even thought about gluing it down when I couldn’t find a bolt lol single mom ya know thanks again
I got that same tool. Has let me fix all kinds of sinks and is even good for torquing down on those old multi turn shutoff valves when you have leak after shutting off water
@@ApartmentMaintenancePro plumbers will try to lie to you or get a quick buck for a simple fix like bro it’s not that deep the plumber tried to ask 300$ no your literally doing a 1 minute job and it’s that fast.
Those multi turn stop valves often times do seem to leak if they haven't been turned in a long time. I had to replace my toilet float valve and after shutting off the stop valve it leaked for a couple of days. I ended up replacing it with a 1/4 turn ball valve unit. I just replaced another stop valve for the kitchen sink and when I looked at the old stop valve, I could see that the washer was starting to come apart. It's over 20 years old. I replaced it with another 1/4 turn ball valve type. I read somewhere else that it's a good idea to turn all your stop valves in the house at least once or twice a year. Otherwise they can get stuck and won't turn.
Thanks for posting this. I have a similar issue with a Delta faucet handle coming loose - the handle is separate. There was a gasket-thingy under it, seems like it’s there to tighten the base against the counter not seal and I just can’t find one to replace the old one which basically disintegrated. Faucet is Delta Victorian (discontinued) and I can’t find a replacement. OD is about 2.5”. What the heck can I use? Any suggestions would be most appreciated!
This is exactly my problem. I’ve got the threaded pipe covering the hose in position but it won’t screw into the faucet head no matter how many times I turn it. With all the other hoses running along side up into the faucet head, I can’t see how or where this one threaded pipe screws into the head. Any advice?
What’s the plastic piece within the bottom of the faucet where it rests on the counter? I have that missing and don’t know what it’s called in order to replace it.
Do you need to shut the water off before doing this? My bathtub faucet is loose, and this video makes me feel capable of fixing it, but the water thing is something I need to know.

THANK YOU!! straight to the point. My faucet is fixed now. Wish I watched this one week earlier and realise how easy this is

Thank you so much I’ve been living with a loose sink for forever.
You are so welcome!
Thank you, that was fantastic! Clear and to-the-point.
Just completed the repair per your instructions. Awesome!!🎉
Thank you. Short, simple, to the point. Problem solved here at home.

Nice glad you got it fixed :) 🛠
This addressed a different issue than all the other videos and I think you solved our problem!!
Thank you. This was the first video I found. Exactly my problem & exactly what I needed to know & do.
THANK YOU! This is what I needed to find to figure out how to fix my kitchen sink

Great tip on the Ridgid tool. I have one and couldn't get it to fit under my deep sink. I'll try your way; and hopefully I can get my hand up there.
Thanks for the tool tip. I ordered it from Amazon & it should fix the shaky faucet!
Thanks so much! This was the only video with right steps for my problem. Much appreciated!
Great demonstration. Thank you!
You are welcome!

What’s the tool called??
THANK YOU! I couldn't figure out what tool to use. Love this! Been trying to figure out a solution for years now.
Thank you! I noticed this morning that my faucet was jiggly, and 10 minutes after finding this video, it was fixed!
Wow this is exactly what I needed! Thank you!
I like that tool, going to HD today and buying one, better than a basin wrench!
Thank you very much for showing me this!
Thanks for checking it out DirtyCoffeeCup!!
Very helpful! Thanks a million.
Thanks for watching Kathy!

Thank you, i was trying to tighten the pipe and thread the nut from under the sink. Never thought to pull it out to tighten it. 😅
Easy, quick tutorial. Works
Glad to hear that!
That is a great looking tool.
She’s a beauty
Perfect. Just what I needed.
Life saver thank you🙌🙌
Exactly what is happening to mine. Thank you!
Thank you for the video 😊

Contact Delta directly
My faucet doesn’t have that bracket underneath nor a gasket up top. I’ll try but definitely need that rigid multi tool. Thanks.
Thank you
Thank you!!! I was trying figure out why who what and where 😂
Awesome I appreciate this cause I have a issue like this today glad I saw your video let me know the name of the tool
Thanks ! The Rigid Multitool is great if you work on a lot of sinks- link to the tool in description
How the hell it got loosened in the first place .. Doesn't make any sense as faucet doesn't make rotation at top neither the threaded tube inside
Thanks a lot for your help. I now know the problem.
Daaaaaaaaaammmnnn.
Thank you.
Thank you bro
Thanks really simple
Thanks brother, fixed my girls sink haha

With all the other hoses running along side up into the faucet head, I can’t see how or where this one threaded pipe screws into the head. Any advice?
How did it screw in so easily? I have been SPINNING this thing (the orange pipe) clockwise and counter-clockwise and nothing threads..
What’s the plastic piece within the bottom of the faucet where it rests on the counter? I have that missing and don’t know what it’s called in order to replace it.
That is a rubber gasket
I have the same issue and the base is not sitting! Do I have to apply any glue or should change the white gasket. Please suggest me. Thank you
Shouldn’t have to use any glue
Thanks, you just saved me $350.
This vid is great
Thank you :)
You don’t need to caulk the gooseneck to the countertop right?
If it has a rubber seal on the bottom you shouldn’t have to
i have a similar problem... is it possible to use locktite to ensure the nut doesnt come loose?
I wouldnt. It may make replacing it in the future very difficult unless you have a sawzall
Does this tool work on an IKEA sink faucet?
Not all heroes wear capes!!!!! 🫡
What’s that tool called ?
Good video. Unfortunately the Amazon link takes me to a tool that looks nothing like your little cube tool ...
checked the link it works. the cube removes from the red handle 👍
Home Depot has them
Is that mounting bracket and nut/flange universal?
I don't think so. It's very common though.
Do you need to shut the water off before doing this? My bathtub faucet is loose, and this video makes me feel capable of fixing it, but the water thing is something I need to know.
If it's a tub filler you might need t9 shut off water to the whole house before touching it
you're the best
What is that bracket under the sink call? I didn't know they sell them, so i ended making one myself from a piece of metal.
Does it make sense to use Blue threadlocker?
I wouldn’t recommend it
gettin er done!!!!
🍻
Where is the link to your type of multi tool?
amzn.to/42qahdi
Thanks a million times over because this whole process is not straightforward.
Mine looks totally diff FML
But how did you even get under there
The counter company should be out of business for putting a seam right there.
She's loose as a goose yall
Ditto
I believe this is my problem as well I just don't know how I'm going to fit my fat ass underneath the sink!
Yes. It's tough working under the sink.
Fast mount loosens after a few days. Is impossible to tighten really hard
This is exactly the problem I have with the Moen Extensa. I get in there and tighten it - lasts 2 days tops- then it’s loose again!
What kinda of faucet is this?!!! I’m due in two days to have my baby & the twist part to change modes fell off 🥲
Just trying to figure out how to reattach
