It really is a great Time for the home player. I’ve been a Two Notes user for a while now and it is so easy to use and and get great tone with amps at low volume. Also a big fan of the Fryette Power Station, bit of setting up and adjustment and you can get great tones form speakers at low volume. Great channel and as always great playing.
Like a lot of other folks commenting here, I think the Suhr sounds better. However, if you did this same video and cued up some of the on hand reverbs or the double tracking feature, it may be a different story based in sound alone. Captor has a lot of useable features in my opinion.
Does the Suhr act as proper attenuator though? I have found mixed information. I need to bring my 40 watt tube amp down to bedroom / home studio volumes with as little tone-suck as possible. Can the Suhr accomplish this?
As always great demo, I just got a Torpedo Captor X and I really love it. What is the over drive pedal you are using in the beginning? Thank you..Cheers
Hi Helmut, I have the Suhr reactive load IR. Could you tell me how you use it? does your speaker output amp go to the Suhr reactive load IR or do you work with a microphone placed in front of a regular 4x12 box? If I connect my amp directly to the Suhr reactive load IR then I have a shitty sound especially on the grunch and lead channel, no matter which bank I use. As monitors I use the Yamaha Hs8 that can't be the problem either. How do you record the guitar and amp tracks? so far I find the Suhr reactive load IR worthless, but maybe I'm doing it wrong? Gr William.
@@Biblrocks Thanks for the info, I have that setting as you indicate, I just wonder why I have such a shitty sound, Clean is okay, but especially with crunch and lead it sounds very thin and tinny. your sound is always great what kind of interface do you use? I think I'm going to record the old traditional way again with a microphone in front of the speaker. cheers William.
Hello Helmut. I am a big fan of your sound and your philosophy to search for a good sound by boosting Marshall-esque amps. How do I purchase your IR Collection for my Suhr Reactive Load? Greetings from Munich, Thomas
Hi. Thanks for the video. Considered that I'm a beginner with this kind of stuff, which one of the two is the simplest loadbox to use? I've never used a loadbox before, I'd like to buy a very good tool but it has to be simple to use, because I've no experience and, I must tell the truth, I don't like to stay in front of a pc screen for hours to find the right parameters. I want to play! :)
And then Abraham went down from the mountain with a stone tablet, and imprinted there was "IT IS TIME TO ROCK!!" And Abraham destroyed the stone tablet and inside there was an electric guitar.
I have the UA OX and it's fantastic but I'm looking at buying another load to play with two amps simultaneously, so I want to try a different load. I've been thinking about getting the SuhrRL. How do you find the Suhr compared to the OX soundwise only? Thanks!
@@crosbycofod5052 I did. I kept the OX. The Suhr is cool but quite more limited for what I need. I also have a Torpedo X which is better value than the Suhr in my opinion. It depends on what amps and guitars you're using aas well, gear sometimes just don't gel together regardless of quality.
Unrelated...I absolutely love that strap combo with the white strat.
👍🏻
Danke für das Demo! Love the Sound of your Marshall!!!

Welcome, thank you!
Thank you for always playing a cool guitar.
Today I commented on the pedals after the Pete Cornish SS3 that you used second in this video.

Great tone!

hi

Nice video, mister.
I am curious to known how the captor X would compare to the Suhr using the Celestion's IR
i like the celestion ir, work with both. so do my ir :-)
I read somewhere that the Captor x sounded a lot better when it was used with a celestion ir.

no problem, plug in your speaker cable and play.
The IR Pack link seems to be broken.
Can I buy your IR Collection?
sorry, webshop will come soon.

Hello. Please tell me the name of the second silver pedal you used. The sound of the red pedal is also wonderful. Your performance is cool.
thanks. i used the klon, the cornish ss3 andt the mytos argo.
Thank you. The pedal of this silver argo was Fuzz.

😃
Do you use those units also at gigs and live situations?
Or do you still prefer a microphone?
Still thinking to get one of those.
only for recording, but if possible i prefer mic.
cheers
If you had to choose just One - which one would you choose & why?
i choose the suhr, still like it from the sound perspective. in my ears it is the best sounding one.
@@Biblrocks Thanks. Appreciate your input. Stay Safe.

hi
i like the suhr better soundwise, have it myself. befire we moved to the new studio we used the suhr for the second amp all the time.

@@Biblrocks Thanks man! So you find the Suhr sounds better than the OX. I'm gonna have to get one and try it myself.
Did you end up comparing the two?

in my opinion the Suhr sounds much better and i think feels better...
I feel the same but the mister said that he didn't dial the captor X at all. So maybe a bit of tweaking would change the equation
