One of the many hits from this amazing album, Love Bites by Def Leppard was an MTV staple. Alexis was great and she loved the harmonies. @defleppard #lovebites #defleppard

the entire HYSTERIA album is just phenomenal.
I’m 23 yo and I personally consider Hysteria as the greatest album of all time, the melodies, the sync between Steve and Phil, just amazing
High 'n' Dry and Pyromania are legendary albums. Hysteria put Def Leppard on the worldwide stage with more airplay.
Take Alexis back to " Bringin on the heartbreak" when Def Leppard was young and not quite famous yet. Such a good song!
My fav def album
@@chaddejarlais4642moved into a new house ( for me ) about six months ago.....first CD in the player!
Definitely one of, if not my favorite DL song
Yessssss
And foolin
Most bands would love to have ONE hit album, but Def Leppard popped off 3 huge albums. High N Dry, Pyromania and Hysteria. These guys are total legend!
I wouldn't say that High 'n' Dry was a huge album like the other two. It didn't even have any hit singles, though that's not really a requirement. Adrenalize was easily their 3rd most successful album.
I love this song.
What a pity that todays songs are so musically empty.
Def leppard are more than just a band. They are a brotherhood. There’s no bullshit with them. They just do what they do
Def Leppard are great live! I saw them in 1983,great concert! R.I.P. Steve Clark
I adore him still. Such a gifted guitarist who played for the music and never his ego. Breaks my heart that he lacked self confidence and never felt good enough, if he only believed what others saw in him. I and many others still grieve for him and always will. 💔
@@karenglenn6707 I totally agree! Viv came to help them continue as a band, and does a great job,but nobody can ever replace Steve!
The thing about Def leppard is they all can be lead singers as they all have great voices.
Def Leppard had a unique sound that you knew an instant a song started, it was them. Once they grew out of their 70's sound which was not very distinctive, they really knocked it out of the park with their harmonics in both guitar and voice. What a band.
Def Leppard is one of my favorite bands of all time.
I know that Hysteria was Def Leppard's best selling, highest charting album, but my favorites are High N Dry and Pyromania and Rock Rock Til You Drop is my favorite Def Leppard song. 🙌✌️
Def Leppard is my favorite rock band.love them
My favorite Def Leppard song. ❤ keep playing the great music from my youth!
Such a great band and one of the greatest albums. So many good songs on it. You can't help but sing along with the harmonies.
Def Leppard was more Duran Duran than Iron Maiden, but that was their beauty. They incorporated the Van Halen Production with the harmonics from The Beach Boys and they were great at it.
One of their best. I saw them a few years back. They’re fantastic in concert. The fact that they all stayed together, even after the drummer lost his arm, dedication, and Grouplove.
Fantastic is a stretch.
Opinions vary.
Well it is there best song interesting enough lol 💯🤘🏽
@@aaronleesgbclieutenant Agreed, I think maybe it's "fantastic" if a person's never been to any concert before. But if you've been to more than a few, then Def Leppard's really not all that special. I saw them headline a show in London (the Apollo) in '06. Cheap Trick and SAHB were the "Special Guests". Cheap Trick absolutely blasted Def Leppard off the stage, while SAHB was also more entertaining. Some bands are just overrated and Def Leppard's one such band.
Opinions vary
I relate with you, sir, also. Same in my life. God bless you both!
My favourite band of all time. Incredible track. Mesmerizing, hypnotic power ballad.
I don't know if every video of yours is like this but I love the dynamic of Alexis seeing this for the first time and Burch giving the context of someone who was there when it all happened. I remember hearing on the radio and MTV news about Rick Allen's accident and hoping he was going to live. Never expected his comeback, not at all. Very nice video! Thanks for this!
Thank you and yes, this is the show. She brings songs I don't know and I bring songs she doesn't...then we talk about them and have some fun. We also do our live show every Tuesday at 7pm est, here on UA-cam.
@@flickeringboxofficial I would love to know who this woman, who inspired this song!!
Classic 80's rock
Still doing it fabulously live. Touring Japan right now. I saw them in Sweden in june. Joe´s voice is so special😍
Layers of sound, Mutt Lange style...still one of the Leps' best...went to their concert in Fresno in 93
Great review. Great song. Strangely enough, I am wearing my Def Leppard concert T today!
Did it just for you! 😁
I saw them in the early 90s and they were bloody fantastic. Still one of the best concerts I've ever seen, and with a one armed drummer! That's insane and one of a kind. Now that's Rock n Roll!!! 🤘
I saw them at the LA Sports Arena for the Hysteria tour. The stage was in the middle of the arena and they were incredible. Watching your videos takes me back to all these old concerts.
Love it Guy's and Burch is Rocking the conns lol.
You know it .. since I was a kid. They were much cheaper back in the day though :)
@@flickeringboxofficial Lol indeed Burch. I Love Conns I was born in 1966 i can remember when conns and bell Bottoms was the in thing! lol Dang Burch you makin me feel Old Ha!
From Wikipedia
Def Leppard's fourth album, the more pop-oriented Hysteria (1987), topped the UK, US, New Zealand, Canadian, Australian and Norway charts. It also went to No. 2 in Sweden and No. 10 in Germany without any Top 50 singles in those countries. It has been certified 12× platinum for sales in the US and 13× platinum in Canada, selling over 25 million copies worldwide, making it one of the best-selling albums of all time.[1] The album spawned six Top 20 US singles, including the US Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 "Love Bites" (went Top 10 in several other countries including No. 2 in NZ), alongside "Pour Some Sugar on Me" (US No. 2), "Hysteria", "Armageddon It" (No. 2 in NZ), "Animal" (at No. 6, the biggest UK hit), and "Rocket" (a Top 15 hit in many countries). Hysteria had four Top 10 hits in New Zealand.
Def Leppard - Die Hard The Hunter
First saw Leppard in 83 on the Pyromania Tour at the Capital Centre. Krokus was the opener. What a show. Probably seen Leppard a dozen times since, the last in Atlantic City in 06. Joe's voice isn't what it used to be, but they still put on a helluva show.
A good Def Leppard song. For me it's the first 3 Def Leppard albums I really liked. Admire Def Leppard for sticking by their drummer Rick Allen after he lost his arm.
Lovebites the band is my favorite band, not named after this song but after Halestorm - Love Bites (And So Do I).
Love the Lep's. Good to see you rockin the D&D shirt, Burch.
Let it go bringing on the heart break rock rock till you drop rock of ages can go on forever great band.
More Def Leppard, please!!
Even better in concert.
CHEERS from Colorado
Saw them at Sweden rock in June and they where fantastic 😍
You guys are awesome. The guitar absolutely cries in this one. Probably my favorite from Def Leppard.
I'm a couple months late to this party, but I've been a fan of DL since the late 80s when the first album came out. I'm with Birch on this one, the fact that the band stood behind Rick after his accident, gambled their future on his comeback speaks volumes on their integrity. 🙏 I hope to see them live one day, but Im not interested in seeing them in a multi band setting. I want to see them, MAYBE with an opening band.
song has so many good memories. remember the first time hearing it on MTV, so much has changed since then and not for the better for most of the world. would trade all the tech advances to go back to this time in a heartbeat.
All music was ridiculously better back in day
The Esprit de corps demonstrated by Def Leppard during Rick's recovery has always been inspiring.
Beutiful Hardrock Ballad
My favourite song of all time. This was Def Leppard's only number 1 single in the US.
Got to see them twice. Once late 80s, then again on “ Hysteria” your . They are one of the most rockin live bands I’ve ever seen!! Happy Halloween Alexis and Berch!!🎃🎃🎃
I love this song when I was in eighth grade lol I have heard it in years and years
Steve Clark was one of the greats. Hysteria and Pyromania are their best IMO.
Hysteria is imo the greatest song that DL ever did
thanks Burch! Havent thought about that vid in 4ever.
Def Leppard is easily my favorite 80s band and one of my favorites of all time.
Great song ❤
And this video the drummer is playing with one arm after that wreck yet earlier, they kept the same drummer. I have mad respect for all those members.
After the reaction we talk about that in the video.
No-one does a love ballad quite like a rock band! My favourite by Def Leppard...
Def Leppard has always been one of my favorite bands. The first video I saw on mtv was “Rock of Ages” when I was eight years old. Dang, I’m getting older
Pyromania is such a great album!! I use to listen to it when i was young 😅 From beginning to end! Not many albums can do it from beginning to end!
First song I heard by Def Leppard was Rock Brigade. Thanks for bringing up the older albums I loved 'em all.
when this song and record came out, me and my friends listened to it on repeat for months and i still love it :)
Love Bites by Judas Priest would have actually been a great episode for the spooky season! That one is all about the vampire stuff.
Great song. Have you heard the cover version by Nevermore? They did it musically different, and it's also amazing.
Yep Bringing on a heartbreak
Hysteria is great by them! Great video too!
Photograph is a great older track by Def Leppard, you guys should check that one out... Cheers!
You MUST review the most recent hit from Def Leppard. You will LOVE it.
"TAKE WHAT YOU WANT"
Saw Def Leppard open for KIZZ in 2015 at Nissan Pavilion in Virginia
This song sounded so good in my 67 Chevelle, turned up as loud as it could go. I'm in the process of rebuilding the Chevelle for my son now. I hope he has half as much fun with the car as I did...he will be listening to Def Leppard for sure, I raised him on my music.
I went to the stadium tour at CitiField in Queens New York…..Poison was the best “live” band that day…..raw, full of energy, and they sounded great….and I was more of a Maiden, Ozzy, Dio, Sabbath guy back in the day. I never really listened to Poison except for what made the radio. Def Leppard had the best sound and stage show and they sounded great….. they just lost the tempo of the show by playing a few “new” songs in an acoustic set all in a row…..it just took the audience out of it if you know what I mean. All in all it was a great day.
I HAVE A D&D SHIRT OF THAT CARTOON TOO!! AWESOME!!!
I still remember the moment when I realised that the digitised voice is saying "Think you've got love in your sights? Watch out. Love Bites". This was before the age of internet lyrics, and even before the video clip was released. This album has so many memories for me.
Hysteria was the one. My God. Love Bites and Hysteria was my entire Teenage Years
My favourite song of theirs
Def Leppard #1
You should watch the movie "Hysteria: The Def Leppard Story"
Love the D&D T-shirt, good memories
I tell you one thing, if you were a teen in the late 80's and you didn't hear this song or the Hysteria album; you were either dead, in a comma or living under a rock. It was everywhere.
Well, Alexis, you would've had a blast in the 80s. It was so different & surreal in retrospect.
I seen them in 1987-1988 in Tampa Florida. Was active duty USAF at MacDill AFB
gotta love Burch wearing the D&D T-shirt and the Chuck T's
Yeah. Brunging on the heartbreak would be a great video for her. Alexa would like it I think. 🤘🤘
What an absolutely iconic song! My mum used to blast this out on a summers day, & it still hits, when you’re cleaning😂😂
Great driving song too🤘🏽😂
Love love this Song! Thank You
Been waiting for a DL reaction video from you guys! My all time favorite band! Thank you guys for finally covering some Def! Def do more songs by them! Too Late For Love probably my favorite! Loving this channel your guys vibe is awesome and you guys are very smart
thanks i hope you guys do another cant wait
For Halloween season, listen to Power Metal band Helloween's song Halloween; the 13 minute version (studio or live)!!
The thing that drew me to them was their harmonies sounded so great. Joe Elliott lead singer was hot. Still is. I saw an interview from Joe Elliott, and the reason that they had so many hits from this album is because they wanted to do what Michael Jackson did with his Thriller album. And with all of them together, writing songs with Matt Lange, they did it.
Burch rockin the DnD shirt! Right on! I play rock and play DnD. nice!😊
Great reaction as always!
Probably my favorite album from back then.
I wore that cassette out😅
The greatest
Saw an interview with joe elliot where he said that they consider their vocals another musical instrument
R.I.P STEVE CLARK!!!!
Great reaction!! Indeed, impressive and commendable that the band stuck by Rick post accident! Huge respect to them for it!
I still spin this album regularly - it's solid, front to back. Side A was top hits through and through. Sure it might have been more pop than hard rock, but it was amazing pop rock!
Just the opening guitar licks of 'Women', and I'm in for the ride!
This was always one of my favourite power ballads of the 80's - and it's the harmonies that do it! Cheers.
Ironically, Love Bites is also a comedic vampire film starring 80s new-wave singer Adam Ant.
The intro, which was left out here, does sound kind of like a scary movie. “If you’ve got love in your sights…watch out - love bites”. 🧛🏻♂️
My favorite song on Hysteria was actually Women. It was a great underrated song.
They said numerous times that anyone would give their right arm for the drummer’s job. They said it like that to stick by the drummer after his accident.
Judas Priest' Song Love Bites is about Vampires. Should do that for Halloween.
87/88 I wore this album OUT!!! Can’t remember how many times I played this album over and over
Step inside. Walk this way.
For your next Def Leopard song for a ballad should possibly the Song 2 steps behind about relationship's and a great throw back just to sit and reflect on your situation on how you may be doing for your wife or girlfriend and vice versa .
Just amazing song this one, and lyrics!! Not feeling sure of yourself or someone else... It is so great to see this band still rockin´!! High n´ Dry was a big album for me and my musical future, the vinyl nearly worn out! 🙂And then Hysteria...and onwards... "Photograph"!! Ahh. "Billy´s got a gun...".... Thank you so much for this one!
Fantastic in concert!!
Great reaction! Class of 1985! Class favorite every year! Just saying! 😁🤘

There 1980 album is were I was introduce me to the band On Through the Night Were they made there mark and left there best inpression on me was Pyromania a knock out album and hooked for life.
watch Rock of Ages by Def Leppard, Love Bites is my favorite of their songs, but they had big hits on High and Dry and Pyromania, they had 7 Hit singles of Hysteria and yes toured for 2 years but the loss of Steve Clark really hurt the band. he was great.
Fun fact. Rick Allen's snare is on the Master Of Puppets album
