Naku, salamat kapatid. Thank you also for being here. Thank you for sharing your Fridays with me. I got to 50 episodes this year and it's been an amazing journey. Thank you for giving me the strength to continue.
Indeed kapatid.. Law school gives us pride in the sense that it changes our perception in life.. It humbles us at times.. It crushes your confidence and oftentimes leads us in doubt.. However, it also gives us hope that balang araw makakamit mo rin ang pangarap mo na maging isang abugado..
The legal profession came about because not everyone has the skill or the training to fight for one's rights. Law school is the place for those who can fight, and those who are willing to fight for the rights of others. It takes a lot of heart just to get by each day. Remember kapatid - law school does not get easier by the day. You just get better at it every day.
One of my friends actually told me once, "Get a life, Steph." It left me speechless and i just smiled kasi explaining myself would take too long and they'll probably never understand. But true, "there's a part of us that wants to remain connected.." Thanks for speaking in behalf of us law school students, Sir Lex 🙂
Salamat, sis. Thank you for being here and thank you for sharing your Fridays with me. Soaring high in law school is an admirable dream. All of us here want it, but at some point - life happens and the life we live is suddenly out of our hands. Always remember that what we have here is temporary. This is only for the time being; this is only a season. Hang in there, sis. Malapit na ang Christmas Break.
Salamat, kapatid. Thank you for watching until the very end. I couldn't continue, to be brutally honest. I've said as much but I know, it's up to you to fill in the rest. Thank you for sharing the 50th episode with me. ❤️😊🙏🏻
Salamat, kapatid. Miss ko ring mapuyat tuwing Mondays and Tuesdays just to finish the research, writing and animation. Thank you for the time spent apart; I feel refreshed, recharged and ready for a brand-new season with you. 😊❤️🙏🏻
Salamat, kapatid. This is mission accomplished for me, during this calendar year and it's been an amazing ride. I feel so blessed to have all of you here in the Lex in Motion Community, and the people you don't see or hear that make every Friday a good one. I still have a month to go and we should expect two more episodes before the year ends. Huwag magtampo kung absent ako. I'm always one PM away. ❤️😊🙏🏻
Thank you, Atty. :) I just got myself started into law school. Your videos served as my guide and inspiration especially in coping up with the changes in my new journey. God bless! Keeping posted for your upcoming videos, Atty.
Thank you for sharing, kapatid. Thank you for being here. Salamat at inaabangan mo ang bagong episode. When I started this project at the beginning of the year, I told myself - makatulong lang ako sa isang tao, uwian na. Mission accomplished na. Thank you for the kind words, sis. I am humbled and grateful at the same time. Tonight, I'll pray for you by name and that God will bless you with the best version of your law school dreams.
Salamat din, kapatid. Salamat at nanonood ka. I hope you're able to share this with your family and friends and somehow, help you understand each other. This isn't meant as THE conversation, but something of an ice-breaker, for all the times we misunderstand each other. I'll be praying for you, sis. ❤️😊🙏🏻
Salamat, kapatid. It's the 50th episode. Mission accomplished na maituturing. Malaking bonus na may naitulong sa 'yo 'to. God bless you sis, and your law school dreams. ❤️😊🙏🏻
Salamat din, kapatid. Thank you for being here. Thank you for sharing your time with me. Law school has a way of somewhat isolating us from the people we love, the people we care about and sometimes from the activities that keep us grounded. I hope this episode helps you in any manner, shape or form. God bless you, kapatid. ❤️😊🙏🏻
Salamat, kapatid. Thank you for watching and thank you for sharing with your family. It needs to be said, for all the hurt we have willingly and unwillingly caused; for the uncertainty and the hesitation. This is us telling them we love them, even if most days - it just doesn't show. God bless you, kapatid and your law school dreams. ❤️😊🙏🏻
As of now, college graduate na po ako and undecided pa rin ako if magllaw kasi di ko alam kung paano magrereact ang friends and relatives ko at jsa pa, ang layo ng kurso ko sa law. Pero thank you for this attorney. Inaabangan ko mga videos mo every Friday. 😁💕
Salamat, kapatid. Thank you for being here and thank you for sharing your time with me. Law school is a terrible, terrible place to be, I always say but it'll all be worth it in the end. The law and lawyering exist for people who can't fight for themselves. Law school is the place where people who can fight, actually train to fight for those who cannot. God bless you, kapatid and I'll be praying for you tonight, by name for your discernment, clarity of purpose and the courage to pursue whatever direction God has reserved for you. ❤️😊🙏🏻
Salamat din, kapatid. Thank you for sharing your time with me. I hope this episode bridges any gap that law school may have caused between you and your loved ones. ❤️😊🙏🏻
Salamat, kapatid. I am humbled and grateful at the same time.
Tpoz yung how to pass the bar in using Audio books thanks po.
Pwede din sigurong idagdag ito - please do not easily dismiss our rants, our tears, and our frustrations in times when we think that we are not able to study enough by saying "ok lang na di mo mabasa lahat, maiintindihan naman yan ng prof mo" or "parang nung college lang yan". We understand that it is beyond your imagination the pressure we and our professors give to ourselves. We know that you will never understand our life in school. But most of the times, we just need someone who will listen to our heartaches.
Kapit lang, kapatid. The honest truth of the matter is that, law students needs some form of validation - that what we do matters, that there's a good reason for everything that's happening and that one day, one day - all of this will be worth it. We need people who have been through the trenches, walked their way through law school and lived to tell the tale. Being misunderstood, or being inadequately understood is one of our burdens. When that happens, reach out to your peers, reach out to your guidance counselor. As I've mentioned in this channel, find support wherever it makes sense. When all else fails, I'm only one PM away. God bless you, kapatid and your law school dreams. ❤️😊🙏🏻
Personally, I think one of the sad things that us (working professionals) need to sacrifice aside from time with our families is not being able to contribute financially to the family needs. 💔😢 But, this too shall pass in God's perfect time. 😊
Dagger in the heart, kapatid. I spent about three years trying to build a big enough income stream to cover my family's expenses, and then my personal expenses for law school. Let me just tell you, you can never, ever out-give The Giver. God turned my finances around, found a job that took a third of the mental effort that paid (nearly) thrice of what I was making. Boom. Balik law school. God is turning things around for you. You can't see it clearly now but it'll reveal itself in God's perfect time. I'll pray for you tonight, by name. God bless you, kapatid and your law school dreams.
By the way sir, can I ask for the script of this open letter? But really, I'd like to have the script 🙂 salamat po!
Every law student has one or two moments when he or she asks himself - bakit ako nasa law school? Sigurado ba ako sa pinasok ko? Ako ba ay para sa law school? Kakayanin ko pa ba? When these questions come to mind, we think of you - our dearest friends and family. We think of you because we want to make you proud; we want to make you happy and this - the law school dreams aren’t ours alone. They are your law school dreams too. Thank you for keeping these dreams alive. One of the most painful realities we have in law school is that we have so little time for the important stuff, and yet we continually waste it. The truth is, the system we have in law school forces us to do a lot things, things that we’re not completely proud of, not completely happy with. Most of the toxicity cannot come out to the friends we have in law school - because we know they have issues too. Sometimes we want to share our failures with you, but we can’t because we fear disappointing you. That being said, we often have no choice but to keep it in, and let it all out sa mga nakakalaban namin MOBA, sa PUBG at sa pag-inom sa labas. For this, we are terribly sorry. For every time you ask us out, for every time you schedule a family trip - thank you. We appreciate these moments from the bottom of our hearts. We are also sorry that we can’t make them all, or we can’t say yes immediately because we don’t know what we will be having that day. Kung absent si judge, or hindi naman kami matatawag sa recitation, kung alam lang namin ‘to on the day you ask us out, we would say yes. Much of the life we live in law school, we live in uncertainty. There’s nothing certain in our world. There’s nothing certain in law school except that whenever we spend time with you - an afternoon, an evening or aabsent kami ng isang klase - it is absolutely certain na pagbabayaran namin yan. Usually, wala na ang perfect attendance incentive. Mas madalas, madadagdagan lang ang backlog namin. When we say yes to you, we’re losing something from our end. When we do spend some time with you, please do not ask us about our grades. We come out of routines because we need normalcy. Gusto lang din po naming maradaman, kahit sa loob lang ng tatlo o apat na oras, na hindi huminto ang mundo; na hindi pa tuluyang kinain ng law school ang aming mga kakaluwa and that more importantly, there’s a part of us that wants to remain connected. Please do not talk to us about our grades and results. Do not talk to us about or compare us with our college classmates, or the children of your friends. Success comes to those who work hard for it, in God’s perfect time. We promise that we’re working hard, even if it does not look like it. We just need you to trust us and that we’ll exceed all of your expectations when our time comes. There’s nothing beautiful in the life we live. Pinangarap namin, natin ito. Hayaan niyo pong ilaban namin. To our dearest spouses, children, parents and siblings. College friends and high school BFFs - we love you and we’re showing it by working hard. Please continue loving us from a distance. In the rare occasions that we do meet, share a meal or watch a movie, you are giving us our sanity back.
Sir may importanteng tanong lang ako sainyo. I'm a graduating student of Criminology. Gusto ko po sana mag NBI. IT does matter ba kung JD or LLB ang kukunin ko? and is it true na 4years nlng po ung law para sa mga may bachelors degree? Thank you Sir.
Hi, kapatid. Recent pronouncements by the Legal Education Board has phased out the LLB program and has now renamed it as the JD Non-Thesis. ❤️😊🙏🏻
@@LexInMotion Thank you very much Sir. I hope I won't bother you as I keep in touch if ever na may mga tanong ako.. God bless. 💯💯💯
