What the Film Making Process looks like in the CalArts Character Animation Program

I didn't really know what my life would look like working on my own little animated short film every year at CalArts before I got here! Or how much I would enjoy the whole process!
In this school you get to work out every tiny little aspect of film making such as Storyboarding, Visual Development, Sound Design, Directing and of course Animating, so the whole process can seem a bit overwhelming at times I think.
But here is how I have been approaching it every year! I hope some of you find it helpful for your own projects, or it gives you some insight on how to make a film at CalArts.
