      @radiofreealbemuth8540 Рік тому

      Yep. IMO, I think Tyson is more epic than Ali, which is almost sacrilege to say. Ali will always be Ali and nothing I’m about to say detracts from him.
      Ali was banned for peaceful resistance to a very unpopular war. Tyson was imprisoned as a rapist when, as more people learn and as info comes out, he was very likely innocent of this terrible crime.
      Tyson had to deal with more vultures than Ali I think once Cus died and he had only himself to fall back on since he was essentially an orphan from a young age.
      Don King really hurt Tyson especially. I think at one point Tyson was homeless on the street in the 1990s after being world heavyweight champ.
      Tyson is very, very wise, humble, and finally at peace with himself and others.
      I hope I get to meet him someday.

      In one of his training docs he talks about doing something like 500 weighted barbell squats plus a day. When you train lower body like that your upper body will naturally grow. I'm sure he did some bench and cleans etc but nothing dramatic. Too much of that and his speed and natural snappiness would've been lost and he would've started to look like Frank Bruno.

      Boxers and worlds strongest men types are not the same at all. Boxers over train and obliterate their bodies because they have to break their bodies to make them stronger. Crunches in boxing is crucial because you have to make the core used to abuse and make it solid. It’s not for show, it so you can take a body blow if a punch lands. All the greats did hundreds of sit ups a day. Ali ran 3-5 miles a day in military boots, painful but turns your feet, ligaments and foot muscles into something that can withstand a lot of punishment.
