I had a chance to ride in my buddies LS6 chevelle- stock engine w mild cam - absolute beast- broke the tires loose at 20mph when he floored it- one hell of a great engine
Cars started doing that with the '64 GTO...
Mouse Motors...Rat Motors...I remember those terms growing up...
I remember 'gas-guzzling' big-blocks being pulled out and replaced with 283s , 307s , mild 327s. Smart guys put those motors in the corner of their garage. Now ya see them at big swap-meets where big-blocks = big-bucks!
Remember seeing hi-perf big block cars sitting and rotting, only to be taken to junkyards. Millions of big-block and hi-perf small-block motors of all brands got sold for scrap.
Perfect voice for your channel. Keep up the awesome content
Script makes no sense in the beginning... not in chronological order... also 1970 L6 454" was rated higher at 460 HP in the Corvette... kids making these videos should run the script past an older person before making final product...
@@buzzwaldron6195 make your own video old clown. This channel is awesome
@@markchapman2585 - Too many obvious mistakes to look like you know what you're talking about, young clown...
What about the 427 435 engines in the late 60's Corvette?
The king of the road in the late 60's was the L88, the hemi killer.
Rated 5 HP above the L88 so unknowledgeable rich kids who order it, instead of L88 427 Race Engine...
No. No. The big blocks were referred to as”Rat Motors” BECAUSE the small block motors had been free referred to as “Mouse Motors”.
What about the zz454 crate
L88
Gas engines cant even come close to Diesel engine torque.
True statement. Having had big blocks and currently a diesel, the diesel is hands down the most powerful by a huge amount, but a big block gas engine is so cool and fun to drive.
That same annoying AI generated voice.
Pronounced bigblock
Pronounced ''Rat Motor''!
mostly unaffordable.
AI generated video. Hard to watch.
