I loved the expressions on the girls faces when Chad said he won at the driving range 🙂 Thank you for showing us the scenery of St Augustine - very beautiful area.
Hey guys I grew up in DADE CITY OMG about 50 years ago such a beautiful little town I have so many fond memories a awesome place to grow up and raise a family I hope it never changes
Even though I lived in Florida from August of 83 until Jan of 93 I never got to Visit Saint Augustine, my daughter still lives down there and has went there many times. She told me it was a very cool place and I want to thank you for the Video.
When we lived in St. Augustine, my husband and I loved people watching on St. George St. and walking along the water front of the Inter-coastal waterway.
Love your RV and travel videos. As an owner of a small video production company, I must say, Tara, I really like your editing style and pacing. One of the best.
Every time but once, I’ve always stopped at the old spanish fort. There is a bar/restaurant across the street on second floor with great view of the water and fort.
Enjoyed another video! We were just in St. Augustine in early December. Decided we need more time there, we booked a month next December. Thanks for giving us some more ideas of places to see. Looking forward to the 410 projects video.
Love your posts, just enough humor and lots of history. We have a 28 bh and travel with grandchildren during the summer. We anchored in St Augustine for a week on our way back from 7 years ( on our sailboat) in the Caribbean- loved the place.
C&T......ugh, you guys got us missing our home town even more!! lol. Next time you go there, here's some things to consider. If ya like big butterfly shrimp and country fixings, head to O'steens. (cash only last time I was there). Conch house is good. Cap's on the Water is really good, especially in the evening hours. Another great place is called Mango Mangos (get the corn cakes!) For some more history, take Lucille and head on A1A south to Ft. Matanzas National Monument...about 13 miles south of downtown. Park and take the short boat ride across the river to the Fort. Finally, if you're looking for a nice easy stroll out in nature, try the Tolomato River Boardwalk. Its in the area of Palencia north of the airport, and is a gated community. Just tell the guard you're going to the boardwalk and they will let you in....we went all the time. Also try Ford's Garage for a place to eat by the outlets.
If you're into the paranormal, St. Augustine has aaaaaalot to offer! There's a ton of history, good and bad, so there's a ton of energy, good and bad. I recommend a paranormal night tour. Good times!
Thank you so much for the tour. Loved the historic buildings and area. May the New Year bring you both great adventures in 2023. Stay safe and healthy ! 😎
Great to see ya guys. Hope ya'll had a Merry Christmas and Happy New Years. Nice to see ya'll survived the little cold weather adventures. Glad to see ya'll getting ready to get on the road again. It will be nice to see the new trailer and how ya'll will make it yours and the "little" projects. Hope all is well with ya'll and things go smoothly. God bless and stay safe on the road.
I love old buildings. I was at an island and there was a picture of a couple back in the day standing in front of the door of their cabin. They lived there and fished. When you follow the trail you can tour the old cabin. I did a double take because the door was like five feet tall or so. I ran back to look at the picture again because they are shorter than the door. It is amazing with proper food and water how big we have gotten and how much longer we live.
We really like that park. We have stayed there about 8 times. Our family usually gets 2 park model cabins and 6-7 RV sites. It’s kind of central. Sorry we missed you
Happy New Year. I was only in St. Augustine once bit feel in love with it. Thanks for sharing your travels. I truly love seeing things I will probably never see. Safe travels and looking forward to your next video
Julie and I have missed you guys for the last few months online, trying to get relocated in Texas. We love watching you two and all of your good times on the road and we look forward to getting our new coach and hitting the road once again soon. We Love All your videos and adventures. Thanks for the great video about Florida. Its on the bucket list for sure. HAPPY NEW YEAR. Peace
Very nice travels. Love St.Augustine and the distillery is "the" place to go. So many great places to eat there too. Metro Diner has a great breakfast, try their chicken and waffles with strawberry butter. Nice to see what is in the park model. Thanks for sharing all the great places of interest.
Another great video. Love you guys and thanks for all of the adventures, information and education in 2022. Irina & I are hoping 2023 will be a FANTASTIC year for you guys and we're looking forward to another great year of videos. Hoping 2023 will be a year of growth, peace, great adventures and love for you two.
Chad and Tara this place looks great Happy New Year to you both and cute little Daisy watching from North Carolina looking forward to your upcoming adventures
We stayed in that park for four winters. The original owners were fantastic. Then they sold to Sun and things went downhill and prices went way up. I caught Covid and narrowly escaped with my life. We bought a house near St Augustine and sold the RV. Good luck on your travels.
Love St A also. We stayed in a B&B close by the Ice Plant and enjoyed walking all over. Talking of the park model, when you said “BYOS” I ran through 3 S’s before I realized it was soap! 😂
We actually just left there about a week and a half ago. We usually spend a week at the KOA there in December. Love the Christmas lights downtown. We did the City Gate distillery this year... Wow it was good! Free tour and tasting.. We ended up leaving about eighty bucks there in the store too... Lol. We love just walking around downtown and going in the shops. Did the fort last year. Another great video.. Thanks for all your efforts! Be safe y'all
Happy New Year. Thx for info. We are on our first trip in fifth wheel. Been at Key West for a week for NYE. Headed to St Augustine this next Wednesday for few days. Ice Plant just got added to our To-Do list. Thx.
Happy New Year! Last time we were in St. Augustine we got lost on a side road which turned out great. We ran across a local fruit and vegs market and got the BEST produce. Will look for this again instead of going to a grocery store.
My wife Dawn and I enjoy your videos. We are going to fly down to Tampa for the RV show, so hopefully we get an opportunity to meet you guys! Safe travels!
The alternative to a buddy site: my picnic table is right by their sewer hookup... We're in FL now, having moved on 2023-01-01 from west GA, and we'll be here all of January, before heading to SE GA. I think we'll spend two months here next winter. Your new 410...I wonder if you'll keep that loaded with lead. Maybe we'll see you at the show. We do mean to head down there this month, though sometimes we don't do all the stuff we intend to.
Happy New Year guys. Gotta check out the RV show in Florida and see if I will be down there. I usually go to the one in Hershey as I live close to there but in 2022 we were camping!
Wow, my wife and I so much appreciate you guys sharing that information, we are still without an Rv, but as the JAMAICANS SAY, soon come man, soon come. Love you both, stay safe, and take care. This world just isn't what it use to be!! Thanks to our hog wild politicians. I wouldn't know, I'm not one of them. Does anyone?
Great video as always. We stayed at that RV park last Spring and we enjoyed our stay. One comment about St Augustine is that we did not appreciate the high number of homeless and panhandlers on the main walking street. It was a big turn-off for us as we had great expectations. Keep up the great videos. Glenn and Pam Lang
Just watched the Oldest house video. I too love old buildings. The Window Tax created the saying Daylight Robbery. Here in the UK the also had a Hearth tax. The more fireplaces the more you paid in taxes.
Have you been to siesta key distillery? Their rum products are awesome! . We sold our house and put a park model up in our favorite MI campground and use the 5th wheel for short trips in the summer and being snow angels in the winter :)
@@ChangingLanes We didn't keep the mattress that came with our park model. It wasn't bad, and I miss the articulating frame in our 5th wheel. This gave us a base in case something happens on the road. It was actually a big concern of mine for pure full timing
Aww this was a Beautiful adventure, I loved it, I would love to hang out with you guys! So sorry about park model, outrageous price for the amenities, they should be ashamed of themselves Glad you were close by special friends though.
@@ChangingLanes we like to be called showman and the museum is across the street from the international independent showman's association the largest showman's club with members from Australia Europe England and hosts the largest carnival trade show on earth! On your new 5th wheel, what brand and type of hot water do you have? We have a 2022 GrnDsn Reflection and are now needing to replace the Furion tankless hot water system for the second time already!
@@ChangingLanes Replacing the Furion tankless with a Truma, as recommended by our RV tech, will cost about $2k. I'm getting them to estimate changing it out to a 6 gallon 2 way, I think it will be cheaper - fingers crossed! Happy trails, love you guys!

I loved seeing you going through the old houses and seeing the furniture, and Daisy growling at a pool float
I loved the expressions on the girls faces when Chad said he won at the driving range 🙂 Thank you for showing us the scenery of St Augustine - very beautiful area.

Just watched Phil and Stacey! So sad to hear they lost GIZMO!😔 All dogs go to heaven!
Yea.. 😞 Daisy lost her two best friends this year.. Gizmo and Peanut... They were both great dogs!
@@ChangingLanes Wow! What a year😔 So sad
We love going to the Floridian restaurant! We think a must if the visit! And osprey tacos!

Gourmet popsicles - dozens of favors right on St George St
We love St Aug.. it’s so dog friendly, even the beaches! We like to stay just a tad south at 4 Lakes Campground.

I live just south of St Augustine in Flagler Beach, great video.
Happy New Year, I like reading plaques so I found myself pausing often, thanks for taking the time to capture them.
That's so funny with Daisy. My dogs would do the same thing.
Looks like yet another pleasurable small town stop. Thanks for the invite, always appreciated. The best wishes for you and yours for 2023 and beyond.

Looking forward to possibly seeing you in Tampa. Love the videos, so informative and you make it look accessible.
I graduated from St. Augustine HS. It is a very beautiful city, lots to do and see in and around the area...
We went to FL Cracker but it was in Homosassa. Thanks for the St Augustine info.
