2002 and older 4.6 call for 5.0 quarts with a new oil filter, but 6 won't hurt. I put 6 in all my 2002 and older. 2003+ Panther 4.6 sohc call for 6 quarts with a new filter, but I pour 7 quarts in my 2003+ Great video. 2002 and older, having the tires turned left helps to make room to get the filter out. also smear a glob of chassis grease on the bump stops, at each oil change, to prevent the loud popping and screeching on 2002 and older when turning the steering wheel as sharp as it can go in a parking lot.
my local shop closed down so I decided I'd just learn to do this myself, and this video was perfect. I'm not the most mechanically inclined person and I love that you didn't go too in depth with how shit works and just explained how to do it and gave us some personal tricks to do too. quick and to the point. thank you! if anything I would like to suggest maybe in the description you have a list of tools needed and then the type of oil filter. obviously after watching the video I can just figure it out but some people like to skip ahead on these

I have a 2002 Town Car. The manual calls for 5 qts at oil change. I chnged it today and five qts brought it to the correct location on the dip stick. What's up guys???????

Yes it was easy to do but you have to get it at a good angle. I think you can get the filter from the top but I will try that next time
