There are some companies that allow you to return if you’re a first time buyer such as, lusta.hair. Grey toppers are hard to find. Dimples hair just came out with some great ones. They’re grey synthetic wigs. What's the difference between the 14L Clio and the 14 M Clio.. besides 1000$ price difference, do you have any experience with their lighter weight toppers?
Okay I just bought this after your other review and a consult with Dimples ( just came in last night) never have worn a topper before and I can not get the hair to not just hang in my face it feels super heavy in front but on you it seems fine. Seriously I look emo with it LOL
😂😂 I promise it just needs a good styling! Remember the hair is all hand tied so it will lay whichever way it’s been laying while in the bag. Spray it damp with a water bottle and blow dry the hair wherever you want it to lay. Also remember that the customization from a stylist will completely transform it as well! Let me know how it goes 🤗

I think this one would be best for me, although the price is more than the Serenity. I think I would like the less hair, less density so that it looks more natural on me. What are you thoughts?
Hi Gaytha! I agree the lighter density is really nice in the Dimples topper. It also has a very thin rim which makes blending a lot easier I think. The entire cap is lighter weight than the Serenity pieces. If you’re ok with the length matching your own or even being shorter and have it cut in as a layer, I say the Dimples Topper is worth the extra cost. If you’re looking for some thing to add length to your bio hair, it wouldn’t be a good fit and I would say Serenity pieces would work well for that. Hope that’s helpful ☺️
Yes, very helpful. I don't really want my hair any longer than this topper. I really want it to add some thickness to my own thinner hair. Guess I will start saving up $$$.
Dimples also has a smaller cap if that interests you. I only suggest it to people without a ton of hair loss because it clips into the top of your head and you need enough hair to clip into to be comfortable but it might be a good option 👍🏼
Hi Lacie, it sounds like this is a perfect option for a newbie! I typically have a deep side part and I'm a little nervous about this only being 6" wide. Would you still recommend this or go with the Lustra?
Hi Olivia! This is actually a great piece for a newbie! If it’s not wide enough I have seen people wear it slightly off center in order to get a deeper part. You would just need it cut that way. I haven’t seen anything with a wider hand tied area than 6”. If it’s larger than that, it’s usually wefting on the sides and you can’t part it in the wefted areas. So I still think this is your best bet 👍🏼

I bought one of the last 3 that were in stock…in creme brulee. Haven’t worn yet because it’s too long but am looking forward to it! I have a Dimples with a very narrow cap…human hair..love it but hate the cap. Also have a Dimples synthetic..hate it..way too much density. Raquel Welch Top Billing is stunningly real. Lace front topper but to keep front flat, must use It Stays. I have hair but as realistic as Top Billing is one mustn’t try to blend front hair into a lace top…doesn’t work. Anyway..definitely recommend this piece shown in video…beautiful!
Thinking very seriously of purchasing this topper from Dimples. But first I want to ask you if you know anything about Dimples synthetic toppers. They have one posted I'm interested in that comes in the rooted nutmeg. It might be a good place to start considering it's my first topper.
Oh no! I’m sorry to hear that. It helps if you switch out the front clip for a comb. Also, the clips don’t have to be really tightly on there. Since it lays on top of the head, and there are multiple clips, this secures the topper enough. 🙂 I hope that helps! Yes! You can certainly wear a topper with short hair.
I wish these wonderful companies would include dimensional GREYS! My bio hair is ashy blonde with white and silver grey coming through -- which actually looks really cool! But it's SOoooooo hard to find toppers with good blondie greys!!

Beautiful! You sold me on the last dimples piece and I love it. How do you get them to look so silky and smooth though? It is like the hair strands are actually skinnier. Their espresso color is very dark but not completely black! It has some dark brown in it. So either that one or the Americano which is darkest brown. So glad it was helpful 🤗
I just received this…it’s just too long..my stylist in this are won’t touch wigs or toppers. How should i cut to 12”? Dimples also recommended I wash before wearing..agree?

My daughter has some large bald spots on top of her head from alopecia areata. I am looking to purchase a topper for her. I watched your review for the lauren ashtyn one that caused you some alopecia. Have you noticed any problems with this brand or is that why you don't use the top clip? Any advice would be helpful! I am looking for something I an help her preserve her bio hair in hopes that the spots grow back.
This one is a lot lighter than the Lauren Ashtyn piece. I don’t have any noticeable damage from this piece. I also choose not to use front clips because of what happened with my Lauren Ashtyn piece-I just don’t feel like I have enough hair there to clip into. I usually prefer a comb over a clip. This hair looks so soft! I got one from the Lauren Ashlyn collection and washed it once as directed by them and it looks completely fried and dry :( maybe I should have done more research..
Oh man I’m sorry 😞 but yes, almost all hair for alternative pieces starts off black or dark brown so to get to blonde they have to bleach all the color out of it. But it should still last a couple of years. Did you talk to them about it?

I’m excited you’re going to try the dimples! I wouldn’t recommend highlighting it though 😬 you don’t want to compromise the hair as it’s already been processed to some degree. You’d be better off getting the nutmeg or honey bun color and having a stylist lowlight it by adding a darker color and leaving out some light pieces for a reverse highlight effect. Dimples should be restocking some of their out of stock colors sometime this month 🤞🏼

It’s a more expensive option for many reasons but it’s definitely not the most expensive. And there are other more affordable options. I try to review many pieces from different budgets.

I think for all of you hair review ladies- you need to step down to the real ground and STOP reviewing hair that costs so much. Do you pay taxes from all that gifted hair? I think it’s time that someone investigate that also. If you want to help women that search what an ordinary woman can afford. And I will be honest- you don’t look like you can afford 1,5K hair.
What an incredibly rude and judgmental comment. Lacie is the absolute kindest person and spends countless hours of her time helping other women out of the goodness of her heart. I can see from your previous comments that you’ve benefitted from her free help and advice yourself. So what if she receives a few gifted pieces? It helps other people because it gives her additional experience with more brands and types of hair pieces which she can then share with others. If this particular piece is out of your budget, don’t buy it and move along. No need to be nasty.
I don't think you understand that there is no such thing as "affordable" pieces. You have two options, you can buy something off Amazon for anywhere between $20 and $100 but it will probably look like absolute garbage and you will have wasted that money because you won't want to wear it. Or you can save up and buy a real piece that you will actually use because it looks decent. This is just one of those things that it takes a lot of time and energy for the people who make them and therefore that cost money. Everyone involved especially the people who take the time to tie on each individual hair needs to be paid as well. There's no need to attack her for just doing her thing. It's a good thing she has all the different pieces that she does because she's then able to compare them and help us make better choices so that we don't waste our money. And with your name being jeszuschild, it's a real shame if that's supposed to mean that you're a child of Jesus and out here spewing such nastiness. Because your attitude is complete opposite of how Jesus wants us to behave. Try being nice, it doesn't cost a thing.

It costs more than 2000 dollars, I think this piece is very expensive for a newbie like me, unless it is a rich newbie.

I wish I could wear a topper but the clips pull my hair. Maybe I’ve just tried bad toppers? Can you wear a topper with short hair?
Oh no! I’m sorry to hear that. It helps if you switch out the front clip for a comb. Also, the clips don’t have to be really tightly on there. Since it lays on top of the head, and there are multiple clips, this secures the topper enough. 🙂 I hope that helps! Yes! You can certainly wear a topper with short hair.
I wish these wonderful companies would include dimensional GREYS! My bio hair is ashy blonde with white and silver grey coming through -- which actually looks really cool! But it's SOoooooo hard to find toppers with good blondie greys!!

Their espresso color is very dark but not completely black! It has some dark brown in it. So either that one or the Americano which is darkest brown. So glad it was helpful 🤗

You can cut bangs into the topper or add a little hair spray while slicking your bio hair back to clip in the topper. 🙂

My daughter has some large bald spots on top of her head from alopecia areata. I am looking to purchase a topper for her. I watched your review for the lauren ashtyn one that caused you some alopecia. Have you noticed any problems with this brand or is that why you don't use the top clip? Any advice would be helpful! I am looking for something I an help her preserve her bio hair in hopes that the spots grow back.
This one is a lot lighter than the Lauren Ashtyn piece. I don’t have any noticeable damage from this piece. I also choose not to use front clips because of what happened with my Lauren Ashtyn piece-I just don’t feel like I have enough hair there to clip into. I usually prefer a comb over a clip. This hair looks so soft! I got one from the Lauren Ashlyn collection and washed it once as directed by them and it looks completely fried and dry :( maybe I should have done more research..

Oh man I’m sorry 😞 but yes, almost all hair for alternative pieces starts off black or dark brown so to get to blonde they have to bleach all the color out of it. But it should still last a couple of years. Did you talk to them about it?

The first wash will get rid of it 😉 or you could do a little dry shampoo 👍🏼

I take my topper off before bed. I’ve heard of some people that leave it on though. It’s really preference. I have a UA-cam video on washing and drying I hope is helpful. ☺️

I’m excited you’re going to try the dimples! I wouldn’t recommend highlighting it though 😬 you don’t want to compromise the hair as it’s already been processed to some degree. You’d be better off getting the nutmeg or honey bun color and having a stylist lowlight it by adding a darker color and leaving out some light pieces for a reverse highlight effect. Dimples should be restocking some of their out of stock colors sometime this month 🤞🏼

It’s a more expensive option for many reasons but it’s definitely not the most expensive. And there are other more affordable options. I try to review many pieces from different budgets.

I think for all of you hair review ladies- you need to step down to the real ground and STOP reviewing hair that costs so much. Do you pay taxes from all that gifted hair? I think it’s time that someone investigate that also.
If you want to help women that search what an ordinary woman can afford. And I will be honest- you don’t look like you can afford 1,5K hair.

I can see from your previous comments that you’ve benefitted from her free help and advice yourself. So what if she receives a few gifted pieces? It helps other people because it gives her additional experience with more brands and types of hair pieces which she can then share with others. If this particular piece is out of your budget, don’t buy it and move along. No need to be nasty.

I don't think you understand that there is no such thing as "affordable" pieces. You have two options, you can buy something off Amazon for anywhere between $20 and $100 but it will probably look like absolute garbage and you will have wasted that money because you won't want to wear it. Or you can save up and buy a real piece that you will actually use because it looks decent. This is just one of those things that it takes a lot of time and energy for the people who make them and therefore that cost money. Everyone involved especially the people who take the time to tie on each individual hair needs to be paid as well. There's no need to attack her for just doing her thing. It's a good thing she has all the different pieces that she does because she's then able to compare them and help us make better choices so that we don't waste our money. And with your name being jeszuschild, it's a real shame if that's supposed to mean that you're a child of Jesus and out here spewing such nastiness. Because your attitude is complete opposite of how Jesus wants us to behave. Try being nice, it doesn't cost a thing.
She is so very helpful, and seems very kind. Good hair and quality is expensive, and there is no way around that.
