I love how the tigers were so dainty with their food. "We may be wild unstoppable killing machines when provoked but that's not an excuse for poor table manners"
It probably has to do with how the food is given. tiny pieces of meat, that if their not delicate will just be rolled around, or they'll hurt their teeth on the slab. In the wild theyd tear into a carcass and do what they have to.
I can't believe how anyone could go out and hunt any living creature for sport. It is disgusting. Are they psychopaths? Where are their feelings? I would cry for a year if I murdered an animal for "fun."

They aren't angry or mad. They are simply telling you "this is MY food, back off". It's their natural instinct to protect their food and show dominance over something that belongs to them, because in the wild, that's how you survive. You can't be a push over, or else you die. Believe it or not, humans have the same instincts. We've simply evolved to live in a different world than these animals have. These cats aren't pets, no. But they still have a heart and soul.
Back in the 80's, the Detroit Zoo had Siberian Tigers and they would let you inside the Bldg. close to their cages. One angry Siberian came close to the bars and let out a roar that shook me to my bones. Hard to think of anything more terrifying than a 600 pound+ Siberian mere feet from you indoors let out an intense roar.
"Is this your first time feeding the big cats?" "Yeah" "Did you bring your brown pants?" "Uhm, why would I need to bring brown pants?" "Oh, no reason..."
Wow...this was amazing! They were eating those chicken legs with such ease, almost like an adult eating a cracker. Thanks for showing those of us that have never experienced watching Big cats being fed before!
My house cats will growl when eating anything with a bone like a chicken leg, they never growl when given canned meat! I guess bones give them an instinctive feeling to hold on to their food and growl.
I had a cat that growled if you pet him while he was eating. I had another cat that grabbed onto some chicken *while* I was eating it. She growled then. She was a maniac when she was young.
One of the kittens in a litter I was fostering would growl and attack me every time I bought fast food home till I gave him a fry. He was a chubby cutie when we found homes for them. My current cat only growls if the my nieces muck around his food dish.
Big Cats, Little Cats, There is just something about watching Felines chowing down that makes me smile!!! :3 … (Unless it was me that they were chowing down on of course)

Amazing to see tiger eating But he gets angry before eating even though he got that without hunting but still its dominance like he's saying "I don't share my food"
That’s just what they do with food, they tell you who’s boss & once they realize you’re not gonna take it or interfere they settle down & don’t care about you much.

And then we get their roars.
The roars, they use mostly to communicate and to let other predators know of their territory. The angry sounds are growls.

Tigers and lions do not have the physical ability to meow.
