I saw Fleetwood Mac in 2014 I had seat near the front middle stage and when they played Tusk, Christine was playing her accordion and I acted I was playing one too, and I looked at her she and smiled at me. I miss you Christine. Thanks for that memory.❤
Christine was the heart of Fleetwood, such elegance will be missed! Thanks y’all for the great music and memories, with great affection!
cool story
OMG best memory ever😂😮
Hands down, best fantasy girlfriend ever!
Oh, that’s such a sweet memory! RIP Christine ❤
RIP Christine. You were a class act and super talented musician.
The very best.
So sad! She was so talented..
One of the best ever!
I heartily agree with that sentiment.
Liar
An unusually amazing musical piece, something you could never ignore
I agree... I can't ignore that Buckingham's vocals are flat.
So is the teddies but who's counting
Amazing LB!
...it works though. @@c.a.t.732
.
McVie and Fleetwood are the soul, Stevie is the attitude, Lindsey, the brains, and Christine was the heart. R.I.P.
Mick and Fleetwood are the same
@@arthurbrumagem3844 lol. I wanted to say Mac, from McVie. thanks for correcting me.
@@marciocouto3543 👍
Well stated!! RIP
And we the ears 😍
I love how deranged Mick Fleetwood looks during The Dance! He’s like a drunken sea captain staying the course. Driving the beat and “this ship” into OBLIVION!
Legendary performance by Fleetwood Mac
Mick .... the inspiration for "Animal" of the Muppets......
Lindsey too. Really channeling his inner Golden God
Absolutely! I love him Mac Fleetwood!!! He's always seemed a little deranged... lol
I thank God that I lived in the time of the best music ever performed.
Agree. First concert I went to was Leonard Skinard. Saw some of the absolute best in my time. These days ain't it.
This song must’ve been incredible to hear live! Those drums are absolute killer!
It was. We saw the Dance tour in Manassas, VA and they had a local marching band there. It was amazing live.
It sounded like a swarm of bees. 😒
Llike a communal celebration@@bfpierce

Wow, what an experience for that marching band. Something they can tell their kids and grand kids.
The USc, University of Southern California, marching Trojans.
More than 2 generations of Marching Trojans have had that memorable experience.
@@steelblue58 👍
I imagine so. There are few things as visceral as massed drums. And this is one of the best.
This STILL gives me goosebumps. Nothing ever like it before or after. My God!
Just listened to Three different Playings of this.... Got me Fired up as it does Every time I hear it(Didn't know that it was Pretty much Standard for them to Play with USC until 2 Diff "Official" Fleetwood Mac Vids Included them)... Which makes it Even THAT Much More Special... cannot get this Smile off ma Face
@@laurin4405 lawd put that smile on ya face yes
This performance can bring the dead back to life!
Well, if that's all it takes, you must have led a VERY sheltered life! My condelences.

Is that a mother fucking jojo reference!!!!
Is this a JoJo ReFeReNcE? 🤣
No reference intended

Everything about this song and each band members instruments just shine in this song. Lindsay's voice and guitar, John's bass, Mick on the skins, Christine on the squeezebox, and Stevie just dancing around in the background.... It just all works so harmoniously. Rest in peace Christine McVie ❤
Mac at their peak. the whole Dance album shines. great DVD. what a show
I was there! What an evening at the Dance. 05/23/97. Hard to believe 25 years have passed.
Crowd went nuts when USC Trojan band came out.
@Alex NutCasio ,
This song would not be the same without the Mighty Wall of Trojans. I have to wonder- did Fleetwood Mac drag USC out to the theater in all their gear for just 2 minutes on stage, or did they play on other songs?
However much it cost, it was worth it. Electrifying. Fight on, USC.
·
@@DrChaad Just Tusk. The whole concert is floating around UA-cam. I don't know if there's HD for the whole thing, though.
Correction: They stayed on for Don't Stop, with the horns moving down to the pit.
Lucky you!!
Cool. You know someone from the Trojans will be commenting shortly.
Your memory of that night will never fade
Grew up as a teen on Fleetwood Mac and nothing compares to this great band now or in the future🔮..wow
Fleetmac Mac are good but the reynolds girls are even better .watch there song called I'D RATHER JACK .listen all the way through you will appreciate my recommendation

It must have been simply amazing to have been at this gig ! I love how they had the USC Trojans marching band on stage too - awesome !! 😎
YES! After the marching band appears, every crowd shot is full of smiling faces.
Go Trojans, Fight On !!! 💪
Lindsey is just so bad ass. He is so respected,he is also a staple good of Fleetwood Mac and nobody EVER replace his voice.
The Chain with Christine McVie , members of Fleetwood Macand fans will never be broken. Christine, RIP !
I put on my Rumours CD after listening to this yesterday in honour of dear Christine, grew up on Fleetwood Mac, love them, timeless music, BRILLIANT !! I hope she is flying high like a Songbird !! 💖🕊 x
Epic version of the song. The Dance is phenomenal. Thank you for many years of entertainment.
Yes, I would agree that The Dance is their best album.
And the magnificent USC Trojans Marching Band continues to entertain every year on the 4th of July when they head up the hometown parade on Avalon's Catalina Island off the coast of Southern Calif...TUSK is always part of their repertoire, and what a thrill it is!
RIP Christine McVie.Great composer and singer. One of the best females voices from england. Now she's in Heaven with Bob Welch,Danny Kirwan and Peter Green.
I never get tired of this. What a memory if you were in the USC Band.. Once in a Lifetime moments for sure….
RIP Christine...you were loved. Thank you for the music. 💙
Wait...Christine McVie died today??? I didn't see anything come across my phone about that.

After all these years!!! Magnificent! Goosebumps still, SO GOOD! RIP Christine, you brought so much joy.
Mick always looks like he's having more fun than anyone else.
I remember being in a marching band and that special feeling you got, playing at a special event and making a difference . I get that same feeling again, watching this. This is very inspiring and gratifying to watch, for the musical inclined people out there.
These bandmates will have a lifetime of "remember when" stories to last a lifetime!
Never gets old, what a marching band!
Love this big band symphony yes
I wish I had been in that concert.
Chill bumps! Never will be another like this!
I scream in walrus-human hybrid agony whenever I hear this amazing track.

Fleetwood Mac is a hell of a drug.

The very first time I heard this song I thought… Wow this is one bizarre song! It didn’t take long before I realized how awesome it was. Rest in Paradise Christine 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

TUSK, absolutely powerful and captivating. The original music video at the stadium had me won over.
Agreed, though I've loved this song for decades, that vid really invigorated my feelings. :)
This must have been the most magical moment for everyone who was there while this concert/video took place! This is one of my favorite Fleetwood Mac songs, and this version/video,is the best version of it by far! Wow, just to have been there would have been totally awesome!
This is the tenth time I am watching this. The drummer bugs his eyes out and I bust a gut. This band and the USC Marching band do the most awesome and amazing performances.
That is hilarious isn't it? McVie being McVie. These guys really loved playing together even when they hated each other. How many other bands could take a lesson from them?
Rediscovered this DVD in my collection the other day and now I’m obsessed with Fleetwood Mac again! What a great concert! 🎸
Christine McVie and Fleetwood Mac were the soundtrack to my life in high school (1968-1971) and ever since. I still love them to this day. Christine, may your memory be a blessing. ❤
I just don't have words... amazing!!!!!!!
What a performance! Lindsey doesn't hold back on anything!
The band, as a whole, plus the augmentation - absolutely wonderful. RIP Christine - first lady of rock.
If I could travel through time I'd see Fleetwood Mac live
My dad "made" me watch this when I was a kid. I still remember how incredible it was. Now, I showed my kids this video and they are equally amazed. Truly a one-of-a-kind performance!
Absolutely magnificent even in 2024!
Just the best lullaby ever. ELP are the masters of anything they turned their minds To!!!!
Mindboggling!! 😱
R.I.P Christine McVie ♡
She was simply incredible
I was in college in Florida when "Tusk" was a new album. "Tusk" had to compete with Zepplin's "In Through The Out Door", McCartney's "Back To The Egg", Pink Floyd's "The Wall", Michael Jackson's "Off The Wall", Donna Summer & All The Other Disco Records at the time. Just a GLORIOUS time for music, a GLORIOUS time to be in college at USF in Tampa, Thanks God, for giving me my VERY Appreciated Youth back then, versus now. Fleetwood Mac is more like a Family to my generation, a Family we Love to return home to in our hearts & minds.
This still gets the blood pumpin’!
It’s crazy how talented every band member is/was amazing, all of them are totally fucking badass, Mic’s killer drums J.McVie bass hitting my soul, Lindsey’s haunting folk guitar and the lovely ladies, BRILLIANT!
Let's all take a moment to appreciate how good is Johnny Mac
Amen!
THIS is timeless music. Actual talents with musical instruments. Music!
you could say the same about ALL music up to 1980
Gotta love Mick's crazy eyes at 3:56.
Great song, amazing vocals and fantastic band !
First, R.I.P...
The amazing, talented songwriter and songstress "Christie Vie" absolutely amazing musical talent that will live on forever.
Just watching your Boston live show brought back all of the goosebumps from my youth, listening to one of the best bands around, and that's as a black man growing up in the 80s...
We all know that Fleetwood Mac is never going to hang up their boots because you all love the music so bad and its great but can we have a tour to the UK Please ......
There are some people that made great music and there are some that created a sound.. 👊🏿👊🏿

I've loved classical music all my life and never cared for any other style until I discovered Fleetwood Mac at the young age of 77. True story.
As a lover of Classical ... how do you react to the band Renaissance - the track "Song of Scheherazade" in particular.
Closer to the heart - Rush
AWWW! since the first time that I watch "The dance" VHS concert, its music captivated me, thanks for so many years of wonderful music, TUSK with marching band, awesome and motivational! thanks fleetwood mac! warm regards from Jersey and Peru!

I was raised on music like Fleetwood Mac (thanks mom and dad) and listened to the album of this on repeat. Always listened to Tusk and My Little Demon the most. I was only about 5 years old. RIP Christine, you and Stevie have always been two of my greatest musical inspirations.

Thank you Fleetwood mac you have always been a go to over the years.
Looooove this, the drumming👏🏻👏🏻
I was working in Philadelphia radio when this video was originally released on MTV, and I found immediately that there was something hypnotic about it. The oddness just draws you right in.
I remember the original video on MTV from ca. 1980 on the stadium field. This tempo is faster, and different, but superb. this song stands the test of time. A classic..I love the gaze in Micks eyes, with clever solo to get USC on stage, and holding in the "groove". Lindsey's Elephant march..This is one of those hits in music that have the staying power for decades. No disrespect to Rumors, albeit.
WOW !!!! Talk about goosebumps !
