Anyone who only thinks of Stevie when they think of Fleetwood Mac is seriously missing out. Christine’s voice is liquid gold.
Just goes to show that our society is too enamored with physical and aesthetic beauty and attractions of the flesh than they are with more authentic forms of substance and beauty. If we're being honest, Stevie Nicks has a terrible voice and sings with a nervous machine-gun vibrato. Her interpretation is poor, she drops off the end of notes in an ugly, unmusical fashion, and she doesn't sing perfectly in tune. Her range is limited. Even when she was in her prime, it was not a pleasant-sounding voice. Listening to her singing a phrase is like taking a swig of tudca water. But Christine, a far superior singer had to take a back seat to Nicks, just because Nicks had the sex appeal. But take a look now! Nicks' sex appeal is long gone, she's got bags under her eyes the size of Santa-sacks and all she is left with is her sour, repugnant, unappealing voice.
@@artvandelay8090 very stupid comment. Stevie Nicks has been inducted into the rock n roll hall of fame TWICE for a reason. She had a great voice, and sung with passion. Being a performer isn’t all about how good you are at singing, it definitely helps but putting on a show has a massive part as well and Stevie was great at this. Idiot
@@patrickmoffatt1596 No, it's not a stupid comment at all. Her voice is terrible. It doesn't matter that the public liked her for her sex appeal and for some other shallow, superficial, non-music-related qualities that caused them to go out and buy her records. Her pitch is habitually flat, she has a machine-gun vibrato, kinda' like a munchkin voice, and she has a very limited range. Commercial appeal and musical merit are two separate things and if that's too much for you to grasp, then the stupid one is in your mirror. I don't care that she's in the Hall of Fame. That means nothing. The hall doesn't look at vocal quality. All they look at is commercial success. I suppose you're going to say that Sonny and Cher had great voices, too because they sold a lot of records and had several TV shows? Please, get a brain.
@@jasonkellogg388 & Art = Dumb & Dumber The two of them together put Fleetwood Mac on the map. They didn't sell 40+ million Rumours albums over how good looking someone was,for the simple fact nobody's picture is on the album. They both wrote good songs and had completely different style voices from one another. Christine had a unique British voice that was "liquid gold" just like the Arthur stated.
Jason, I'd have to say your the dumber between the two of you. Pretty bold to tell someone to "please get a brain", when you've got shit for yours.
@@SilverBullet22250 You're such a moron, you can't even cite any technical detail to back up your claim that Stevie Nicks has a good voice (which she doesn't, it sucks). All you can do is keep polly-parroting the same dumb statement over and over about record sales or HOF or whatever. The specific factual detail of why Stevie Nicks' singing sucks has already been provided. You obviously have -0- musical knowledge or expertise to refute that or to defend your inane statements. Keep repeating yourself, dumb-ass!
RIP ,Christine McVie you will truly be missed. Your vocals are truly amazing.
Fleetwood mac no matter who or what brilliant
I saw Stevie alone and it was September, Stevie is the queen! Phenomenal 2024 concert and open for Billy Joel! Great concert!
I saw Stevie Nicks in concert in May of 2024 and she killed it ❤❤@AndiMarie
I just love Christine's voice. So soulful!
That's how I see it, too.
I agree this one of those songs you could play it all day and it would still get each time
Love that Lindsay play guitar without a pic! One the coolest things I have ever seen!
She's the backbone💜💜💜
Between her voice, her keyboard skills and the countless songs she wrote she’s definitely underrated.
Christine was the queen !!
Yes, she was! Today is the one year anniversary that we lost our Precious Songbird. 😢💔
No one gives John McVie enough credit for being the most badass bass player on the planet!
Right?!
I agree 100%. He was the glue that held all the craziness together that formed the best band of all time
I say this all the time… truly the foundation of everything they ever recorded. Genius player
Christine Mcvie is very laid back classy and elegant I just love her
.she has a wonderful voie and breatiful
Classy? The way she got Lindsey Buckingham fired wasn't classy. And her voice sounds the way a sour grape tastes. She sings out-of-tune, she has a machine-gun vibrato, she drops off the end of notes like Cher. The only thing that she had going for herself was sex appeal, which is now completely gone. When she dresses in that long black thing that she wears on stage, she looks like something out of a horror movie, or maybe the perfect "Morticia" on The Addams Family. Her cruelty to Lindsey Buckingham is anything but classy and she's about as elegant as my big toe.
She is "the elegance on two legs and voice, writer, and body.
@@artvandelay8090 He made Fleetwood Mac the band it was with his talent.
I agree
Nobody has, and ever will, say, "That band sounds just like Fleetwood Mac".
Here here,to this day there music has moved and touched me throughout my years since I was was a kid growing up listening to them. There will never be another FM & I have never ever heard anyone person on this earth said they didn't like them
Very true. Everyone thinks of Stevie and Lindsy. Most dont even know about FM 1 This is actuley FM 2. Nobody remembers Peter Green who formed the band, made them big in England . Then went a bit crazy and left McVee and Fleetwood wondering Well now what? so they looked for another singer/guitar and found Lindsey. He said ,yes, when asked, but only if you take my girlfriend too. Stevie. As they say, the rest is history.
My history
So well said.
there is some pathetic band now calling themselves Fleetwood Mac without the husbands. Like seriously, get off the stage... "Husbands" they said. Lol Clearly they don't know our loves.
I love Stevie as much as the next person. She's a Queen forsure. BUT, Christine is just as much FM as she is. 41 years later this song sounds just as good as the first time I heard it. On another note, I could watch Mick hammer the drums all day. He really enjoys himself on stage.
His faces crack me up
Spot about the big guy!!!!
My girl Christine still sounds good and this song is 41 years old
larry ballard “
Christine Perfect. Chicken Shack. Forty blue fingers. Bedsitter land in the old days.
Christine is a class act.
She's so beautiful!
That she does : )
The different drum tempo during the chorus on this version is beautiful. Mick’s a legend
Best version! I watched this concert on TV. There was a super funny part. Lindsey was giving a speech and Mick starts drumming. Lindsey and Christine joke about him not being able to make it through anything without a drum solo.
Christine is my favorite … has always been. Her lead vocals and harmonies are huge. I love her …
I love her too! Aside from her amazing physical beauty, she has one of the greatest voices of any female rockstar ever, in my opinion!
Christine was my favorite, too!
Gotta admit she still sounds good and she interprets the music really well, soulfully. She doesn't try to do too much with it, either which is good. Nothing is more repulsive than over-singing and over-embellishing something. When she sings it the way she does, it's very soothing.
Beautiful woman, beautiful voice, beautiful music. A treasure that will live forever. Rest in peace, sweet Songbird. 🕊🎹
Something about Christine's voice moves my soul. So sweet mellow and touching❤
Right!
Totally. Me too. Xxx
this might be my fav fleetwood mac song. Her voice is so smooth it really stands out.
It's a shame it took me all this time to truly understand and appreciate what a talented group of people they are. Fleetwood Mac was a phenomenon. :-)
me too. Dont feel bad. In the 70s there was sooo much good music..... they were great, but among Elton John and Queen...
Me too. I was born in 1970 and I was just too young to understand how good music was in in the 70s.
Richard Sherman jr You’re lucky you have UA-cam when I was young I had to listen to the oldies station WCBS radio to hear the music before I was born
@@mrpentium I really don't think we are that different. I had to listen to the classic rock and oldie radio stations to hear music that was made before I was born.
@@mrpentium What I regret is that I didn't really *find* music until I was about uhhhhhh 14? ish? Something. That was when every boy at school was going nuts over Van Halen and Iron Maiden. I was bigtime into Maiden because it was the cool thing to do, but it wasn't my first true love in music. That honor goes to Boston. My sister's boyfriend had "Don't Look Back" on 8 track, and my family inexplicably had their first album on vinyl. One day I just sat down at the turntable with a headset and started really listening, and that was that, I was hooked on them. But I didn't really start going over everything I'd missed from other bands until recently, for some reason. Fleetwood Mac was one of those I never gave any true attention to, over all these years. Thank God for UA-cam, because it's all here, waiting to be rediscovered. SO much good music from the 70s to 90s, it'll never be like that again... not for us.
Christine McVie is an absolute Gem... easily one of the greatest singer/songwriters of all time!
R.I.P Christie. We miss you. Thank you for sharing your amazing talent through the years.
RIP Christine McVie. Thank you for the beautiful music. We will love your sweet bluesy voice forever!!!!
I’m taken by how beautiful her voice was as well as how powerful a guitarist LB is they were beyond special.
A match made in heaven
A voice that will Never be matched again.
Such a Powerful Voice so sad she's gone 😢Johnny From Alabama
This song takes me right back to saturday mornings in the late 70's early 80's working in my grandparents greenhouses with my mom, as a kid, FM playing over a old transistor radio. Better times
Wow
One of the epic Fleetwood Mac classics.
Christine McVie once The beautiful Voice of The Mac, we all miss you 💔💔💔
I know Stevie is the song goddess but Christine has never been more magical & beautiful than right here. She was always the one that pushed my buttons. Mercy!
RIP Christine. Your music will remain in our hearts forever 🌹
What a song - and great guitar work by Lindsay Buckingham!
That voice is gorgeous
One of my favorite song. Still here listening in 2024
R.I.P. Christine McVie. You will be missed but your music and voice will live forever! Thank you for your songs.
Childhood memories listening to Fleetwood Mac with my dad….miss him very much
Same with me and my Daddy. I miss him too ❤
Christine's voice is amazing and this is a beautiful performance.
Sweet, Wonderful Christine
She's still standing out stanglolly69 😅
Lindseys guitar fills sound so whimsical... freakin love that shit soo hard.
One of the best song of fleetwood mac! And the christine voice is so amazing!
Agree
Mick Fleetwoods drumming is so in the pocket! Locked in with John Mcvie!
That sent chills down my spine! She is REALLY good!
I could listen to her voice all day long
saw them 4 times in Houston Texas. all were excellent shows. RIP Christine.
Excellent studio quality live performance from one of the greatest rock band's of all time. Fleetwood Mac always had their game on throughout the years.
They showed this full concert on TV the other day and I made a comment on the crisp, quality sound of this performance.
We all love and miss you Christine ❤
Yes, we do!😢💔
Fleetwood Mac's Songbird!
The Beautiful , Stunning and Talented Christine❤❤
I’m grateful that I was able to see Christine in 2015 after a long hiatus stemming from her fear of flying.
Absolutely incredible
How nice to hear
Christine Mac Vie. Muito obrigado por tudo que você nos proporcionou quando estava entre nós.
SHE SANG THE BEST SONGS OF ALL, SO TALENTED!!! BEHIND THE SCENE HOLDING EVERYONE TOGETHER ❤️ ❤❤❤❤
RIP Christine, thank you for the God given talent you bestowed on us. Prayers for your family.
This song is pure Christine. Beautiful.
I have to say, this is my favorite FM song. Christine McVie is awesome. I love her on Little Lies too.
this has to be one of the best songs of FM
Fabulous songwriting by Christine. Amazing to think the principal songwriters in the band were the two women and they don't get the recognition they deserve for it I think
No, they don't!
They’re great songwriters, but this band is the perfect example of how one musician could not survive for long without the support of the others. Sure, Stevie had a solo career, but even she had to put things to bed and come back in to work with her ex-boyfriend Lindsey. Once all the white powder settled, they realized that they needed each other.
One of the best good feeling songs of all time
I can't believe Christie's voice!!!! In fact, I've been looking for this song, for ages!!!!!! How can I miss it!!!!!!!
Love this song. RIP Christine. Thank you Fleetwood Mac.
Nothing better than a subdued jam.
Music. Remember that people?
Awesome song performed by one of the best bands on the planet, Christine, Mick, Lyndsey, John and Stevie are so special,
One of the greatest LOVE SONGS ever written and sung.
Literally all of my fave Fleetwood Mac songs are sang by Christine and I when I found out it wasn’t Stevie singing I was SHOOK may she rest in peace .. loved this song so much I dedicated it to my grandpa when he passed away
Damn she is good! Such a unique and beautiful voice.
Christine McVie was a fantastic woman and artist ! RIP
Yes, she was!❤
So Beautiful-RIP Christine🙏🏼💕🙏🏼
Christine Mcvie is Fleetwood Mac I absolutely love her voice she's beautiful
Christine, Your beautiful voice matches your beautiful self.
I really am impressed with your humble attitude. It's so refreshing to see a A woman that has beauty coupled with talent. You truly have been blessed by GOD.
You have mysterious personality and The eyes of An Angel. Women should and do want to have the Class that you include.
God Speed to You
See You again
Christine
RIP
😇😎🌞
🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸
In my opinion, "Fleetwood Mac," is the greatest pop rock band in our entertainment history. So good, always. RIP, Miss McVie. We will always miss you.💔
The longest relationship I've ever had in my life, has been my love for Christine McVie, 50 years
She kicks it on keyboards too. 🌹
thank god im 65. saw it all in real time
Christine wasn't a show off like Stevie was, and Christine sang soo good. What a voice, it was beautiful! RIP beautiful lady
Wonderfull song for Christine..❤❤RIP..⚘️⚘️
Jesus she is blessed. She gets better with age like a fine vintage!
i attended 2 of their shows; both in CA. A sensational group; always enjoyed them. * Cav *
My favorite of their many hits; she's awesome.
Christine was always my fav, that voice, that look. a stunner!!!
I bought LP Rumors in 1977 (albeit a Yugoslavian license), but it is one of the albums that I regularly listen to on vinyl to this day. 👍
Christie looks stunning and sounds loving...love her hair
Frankly, when we Brits team up with our cousins over the pond, we're bloody fabulous.
Greetings from The Rock of Gibraltar
Great!!! Also she is easy on the eyes!
Christine is pure magic 🎤🎤
I’m a gay guy, my boyfriend and I are huge Stevie and Fleetwood Mac fans, and You Make Loving Fun is our song. It’s exactly how we feel about each other 🥰❤️🎶
They each were so talented in their own way and that was the magic they created with their music
This is a FANTASTIC song by Fleetwood Mac !!! ❤🧡💛💚💙💜
They wouldn't be the same without ANY of them
Agreed!
Timeless... this song is ON the RADIO in NZ in 2022.. thanks from down under 👍🇳🇿
So sad ,but crissy voice is so dreamy and beautiful. Love her .xxc
Absolutely amazing. The drummer is always on point no matter what age, as well with the rest of the band.
I like how people say Lindsey Buckingham's underrated he is not underrated he is a guitar Maestro Legend
Maybe in terms of the game changing guitarists (like Hendrix, Clapton, Page, Van Halen), Lindsey doesn’t get enough praise. But Lindsey is a special guitarist in his own right. He just plays more tastefully than other players, which is great in my book.
Under-rated means you don't get as much recognition as you deserve. He is definitely under-rated.
No one with a brain thinks that
stop listening to idiots
Fleetwood Mac is a giant and each of their members were giants
Just a amazing voice and such a Beautiful band that will live on forever ❤❤
What a FANTASTIC song by Fleetwood Mac !!! ❤🧡💛💚💙💜
Music is spirit. it’s amazing how it still sounds like Fleetwood Mac no matter who is singing. it took me 40 years to get into them. better late than never
her voice, eyes, talent and style ... Class act
she can sing ❤ ❤ ❤
Se apaga un hito del rock en inglés, que en paz descanse nuestra querida Christine McVie.
I miss Christine so much 🥺 She was a beautiful soul 💞

Christine will always be Queen of the Mac for her music and singing
😂I remember I was 22 when this song came out it was like a hyme for me I was recently filled with the Holy Spirit and I realized it was time I believed in miracles I never did before
What a beautiful lady, miss her .❤❤❤❤❤❤
Beautiful voice.
Angelic voice. Takes me right up to heaven
