Hello, Veruca! Thank you so much for watching and for all your kind comments! 🥰 Did you see my last video with a home tour of my autumn decor? I will definitely be doing another home tour once the Christmas decorations are up (and I have some ideas for the front living room with the plaid fabric wall covering).

Hello Sherrie. I am writing from England. I have been binge watching your videos for a couple of months and I have also watched quite a few of the same type of video made by your contemporaries. This past week UA-cam featured me on their trending page as “Creator on the Rise.” I didn’t know what that was until I Googled it, but I was very flattered! I’m not sure how they make their selections, but I believe I was selected because I have such great viewers that support my channel with likes and nice comments! So, let me say again how much I appreciate all of you! 🥰 BTW-I bought a bundle of dried flowers yesterday at Dollar Tree! And, they are super cute!
That’s awesome to hear and very well deserved! I’m so glad I found your channel. I’ve watched everything you’ve done and so look forward to Tuesday morning with you and a cup of coffee. Thank you for all the hard work you put in all your videos! Your amazing!🥰❤️
I too loved your Canterbury Tales jewelry box. It was one of my favorite books that I read in college and has remained so throughout the years. I am a retired English teacher so having book decor around is a special treat.
Your projects are so innovative! I thoroughly enjoy all of your videos. I keep seeing other channels copy each other or do cheap looking dollar tree crafts. You deserve more subscribers. Love watching your channel grow! ❤
Thank you so much! That is so so nice of you, Diana! Honestly, I am shocked at the number of people that watch my channel. When I started I thought it might just be a few friends and family members watching every week!😜
LOL, "ugly" is in the eye of the beholder! I absolutely LOVE that book lamp! But, everything you do is fantastic, I enjoy your channel so much! Thank you for all the inspiration!
I read Canterbury Tales in high school and loved it, too! We had to write our own tale, so I used characters based on the store where I worked. I still remember some of the lines from the poem I wrote. Fun memories!
I loved these projects! It's hard to pick one favorite but the book box and the gumball terrarium were definitely my favorites. You have so many amazing ideas and the skills to pull them off. You present them so well too.
I am having some a good time watching you create such fun projects. I love the scrap green wood projects. You really are an artist even though you dont see yourself as one. 🤗🤗🤗
I agree . Love listening to her and she explains everythin so expertly, never wasting words, but still is very interesting. Covers everything perfectly. And she is so beautiful and proper
They are all delightful projects, but I am obsessed with the gumball terrarium. Overall great advice! I think the reason so many people find interiors with older pieces more inviting, is because older items tend to have more personality and they also harken to our childhood memories ie. visiting Grandparents home. Never was I more comfortable and invited than when I entered my Nonna’s home. Fabulous video!
Another wonderful video! You actually won the “Creator on the Rise" recognition because you are so creative, have a lovely voice and great instructions. I think my favorite from this video was the wagon with the basket and flowers (loved the bunny too and would love to see you decorate another). Congratulations!
I am so happy to have found your channel! I think you are so incredibly talented! Thank you for sharing all your amazingness with your followers! Many blessings to you!
Oh my goodness! I bet you dream a lot with all of these ideas swimming around your beautiful brain! I absolutely love the lamp. So creative. Love the footstool, box...all of your projects turned out amazing! Thank you for sharing your gifts!
Sheryl, you are so sweet! 🥰 I’m sure my hubby would tell you that I am thinking about decor projects all the time! I am so lucky that when it comes to home decorating that he loves whatever I love!
Loved all of them!! This video was absolutely fantastic! Sherrie you just take my breath away with talents! You my friend are the best and I never want to miss a video!! Love you sooo much
Thank you, Peggy! 🥰 I purchased the gumball machine last fall and was going to put a Christmas scene in it, but I think I like the succulents better. I can leave it out all year!
You are so creative! I made a book lamp many years ago. I was a mathematics teacher and used old math books. I kept it on my desk until I retired and now my husband, who is also in education, has it on his desk! I love your channel!❤️
I absolutely love your videos. I am 75 and not much on You tube is "new" to me. You always have new ideas and ones that I could still do. I have always been artsy/crafty and still try to keep my hand in. I look forward to your videos with such classy ideas. You are by far my favourite person on here. I feel we could have been best friends. Until next time Thank you. BTW my favourite was the book lamp. Just saw your post, Congratulations You deserve the featured position.

@@CanterburyCottage Sorry just saw your answer while re watching this video. Yes, I have watched Mary for several years. I just love her honest and simple way of life. She has so many ideas doesn't she, and they are all do able. Thanks Sherrie for being a light in my life.
@@CanterburyCottage I don't know if you will see this as it is a while since the video aired. Today I made a book lamp, I love it. I had an old standing lamp with a 3/4" metal post. I just drilled the holes in the books larger and slid them on. I cut the pipe down to table lamp size. You are right, I don't know why I waited so long. (bought books at the dollar store and painted some of the covers to colours that suited my "old lady" decor...LOL...Thanks Sherrie I look forward to you every week.....Pam
Loved the book lamp! Many thanks for the step by step guide. Now this project is less daunting, as I’ve wanted to make a book lamp and end table so now I know exactly what to do now. Thrift stores here I come!!!
I find it very difficult to pick a favorite project from any of your videos because I like them all! If I had to choose just one today though, it would have to be the gum ball machine terrarium, simply because of its whimsy. Also, I love the simplicity of the plant stands. I had a few wood rounds from using a hole saw a week or two back and my little granddaughter snatched them up to use to make wheels for a wagon she constructed out of an old sturdy gift box bottom. 😊
Sounds like your granddaughter is quite the little creator! I am so glad you are enjoying my projects. Thanks so much for watching and commenting, Jodi!🥰
Love the footstool, book box, and the gumball terrarium all are fabulous! I love them all actually! Your channel is so well presented and oohh so inspiring!! Thank you for sharing!!

You are so very kind, JoAnn! 🥰 I am so glad you are enjoying my channel! I am especially pleased that you like my voice-some viewers think I sound like a robot or Siri!😜
I love the foot stool covered in quilt. I have an old quilt that was falling apart and I framed squares of it to display. I will now cover a foot stool with some of it. Thanks for the great idea!
You never cease to amaze me with your creativity. Thank you for all of the inspiration! I’m going to share your channel on my Facebook page because I want all my friends to get inspired as well. Have a blessed week!
Thank you, Debra! People often comment on my voice-some say nice things (like you), some say I sound like a robot or Siri!😜 Thanks so much for watching and subscribing!
I went to a public auction last week and added more to my collection of potential projects. Candlesticks, little crocks with lids, mirrors, etc. I need to imagine what you would do with these items and get busy creating!!! You have such wonderful ideas and beautiful results!!!
Thank you! I haven’t been to an auction in awhile. I love them, but it is hard to give up an entire day (because once I’m there, I can’t leave until it’s over)! I bet you brought home some great stuff! Have fun!
My favorites were the book lamp and the small box with green feet. I also love listening to you describe your projects. You speak slowly and calmly and by the time I’m done with the video I’m so relaxed and my dog actually fell asleep next to me lol. 😘
Loved the jewelry box. I plan to make one soon. I love how you can see possibilities of old vintage items. I am not there yet, but your inspiration will soon get me there.
I love all your projects and all the ideas, they are so brilliant!!! I’m going to be sad when I catch up on all your videos because I could watch your videos all day!
I absolutely LOVE all of your projects. Your style and my style are the same..If I have to pick a favorite I'd say it's the book lamp. I am so happy I found your channel. Thank you for the inspiration. 😊
I am so glad you found my channel, too!😜 I am so glad I can give you some ideas. I hope you’ll try to make the book lamp-it was much easier than I expected.
Thank you so much, Sandra! 🥰 I really appreciate that! I just make things that I like (and hope that others will like them, too). I am so glad that I can be “different.”
Thank you, Corey! 🥰 You know the book lamp might be my favorite, too. It is so big, and I put it on a small table. I think I need to move it to a more substantial table!
The look you have done throughout this WHOLE video,is Now what is called COTTAGE CORE, I've been decorating this way since I bought my first home at age 20,I am NOW 44,and find it funny how all decor styles always become NEW AGAIN,sooner than later. Amazing job once again,on all your uocycles, I always look forward to your new ones, every wek.
Sigh. I didn't want this video to end. So many great ideas and beautifully executed crafts! You are by far my favorite creator right now. Thanks for bringing your years of creating experience to all of us. We're blessed to have you!
Oh, my goodness! I am so flattered to be your favorite creator! 🥰 Have you ever watched The White Cottage Company channel? I think she is my favorite. Thank you so much for watching and for all your lovely comments!❤️
@@CanterburyCottage That's hilarious. I actually commented on Mary's video this week that she was my Wednesday coffee kickback and you're my Tuesday. I was hoping to send some subs your way. :-)
Oh, my gosh-you are so sweet! 🥰 She has SO MANY viewers! I had already named my retail booth “Canterbury Cottage” before I found her channel. It was the word “cottage” that caught my attention.
I, especially, liked everything you made with plants...the plant risers, the sifter, and so on. I loved that frame with the little bunches of hanging flowers...so sweet. Like so many others here, I am amazed at the way you look at things and envision them another way. It's truly a gift & wonderful talent. Thank you for sharing your creativity and for teaching us. I've learned a lot and I'm grateful.
Quite an interesting video, full of great tips!! I love the DIYs, particularly the book lamp and the sifter! You are so talented Sherry and I’m glad UA-cam noticed!!
Thank you, Marina! 🥰 Every week I worry that my projects aren’t as good as those in previous videos. Since, you’ve been watching from the beginning, I hope you’ll let me know when my projects are not very interesting.
Those glasses look beautiful on you!!! I, as usual, think everything is fabulous! What a grea job you do with the simplest of items....I just love it!!!!
The book box is my favorite. What a wonderful gift that would make for adults but so cute for kids. Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Black Beauty, so many classic books that kids can have a special trinket box for. Thanks for the idea.
Good morning! I loved using those thread spools for risers! So, so smart and cute! I have a difficult time with that dark wood on the stool also. I would have to paint and distress those legs! Thank you for sharing your talent and knowledge. I love the tips!
Oh, my goodness, Marie! I love that idea!🥰 ❤️ I think I am going to make a book lamp for my niece. Originally, I was going to put Legos in that glass lamp for my nephew, so I’ll have to keep an eye out for another glass lamp for him!
Wow,you are fantastic! I absolutely love everything you do! I can’t wait for Tuesday’s to see what you’ve created!, I have shared you channel with all of my friends xxxx
Thanks, Sarah! 😊 I was surprised at how the pictures of the book edges turned out. It made me wonder why the ones in stores aren’t more realistic looking.
I was one of your viewers who asked for ideas for a cheese box. I so much appreciate your taking the time to do this. Another suggestion for you: there is such a variety of vintage tools for very cheap at thrift stores, garage sales, and even in one's own home. Any ideas for these items would be wonderful. Today I am on on the hunt for knobs and spools for my cheese box. I love your videos; they are the highlight of my day. Simple projects and easy to understand instructions.
I ‘m so glad you left a comment, Marie! 😊 I wanted to specifically mention you in the video. I have made some things for my booth with some tools-bulb planter, small shovel-is the type of tools you mean?
I very much liked your little foot stool. I know painting over wood is all the rage, but there’s something rich looking about dark stained wood that cannot be outdone. Like you said “Granny chic!”
Just when I think I can’t appreciate you more, I find out your favorite book is Canterbury Tales!
A kindred spirit.
I don't think any of your viewer's are surprised that you have been bestowed with an honour. You are not only a rising star, you have risen!!

Hello Debra
Absolutely beautiful, I loved everything you created Thank You 🙏
Thank you so much, Amy!🥰
Hello Amy
Love Love Love the projects today!!! It’s hard to pick a favorite, but the gum all terrarium was absolutely adorable 😍😍😍😍😍
Hi Nancy
I went to a public auction last week and added more to my collection of potential projects. Candlesticks, little crocks with lids, mirrors, etc. I need to imagine what you would do with these items and get busy creating!!! You have such wonderful ideas and beautiful results!!!
Thank you! I haven’t been to an auction in awhile. I love them, but it is hard to give up an entire day (because once I’m there, I can’t leave until it’s over)! I bet you brought home some great stuff! Have fun!
We just accidentally broke a glass lamp, now I know what to do with the parts! That lamp and the gumball machine was my favorite. 🥰
You are so right, Kathy! I do believe that creativity just takes practice (like with anything else). 🥰
You aren't run of the mill. Wow, you impress me with every project!
I love all your projects and all the ideas, they are so brilliant!!! I’m going to be sad when I catch up on all your videos because I could watch your videos all day!
Every project turned out wonderful. You have such an eye for puting rooms together. Cozy and charming.🪴
Thank you so much, Fran! I am so glad you liked today’s projects!😊
Hi Sheri, thank you so very much for sharing all your wonderful projects/ideas, definitely gets me motivated!🤗
I loved everything as usual...I also loved the book...I like things that are different and your ideas are that...unique. keep up the great work
Thank you so much, Sandra! 🥰 I really appreciate that! I just make things that I like (and hope that others will like them, too). I am so glad that I can be “different.”
Hi Sandra
I agree that every room should have something whimsical. I try to always do this as well.
Just wonderful, everything came out beautiful. My favorite is the book lamp! Thank you so much for sharing!!
Thank you, Corey! 🥰 You know the book lamp might be my favorite, too. It is so big, and I put it on a small table. I think I need to move it to a more substantial table!
I love your channel! Your style is beautiful and your skill is amazing! I get so inspired by all of your DIYs
How very sweet of you to say, Rebecca! I am so glad that I can provide a little inspiration!🥰
The book lamp takes the top prize for me!!! Love them all!! So creative!
Hello Stacy
I am so happy that I found your channel! Your tutorials are wonderful!!
I’m sorry. I can’t pick just one favorite lol. I love them all! Great job. Love all your videos. You are so talented👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼❤️
Rosie, you are so sweet! I am SO glad you are enjoying my videos! 🥰
Candy, you are probably right about calling it Cottagecore. In this week’s video, I made a lampshade from flowers, and it is definitely Cottagecore!
The jewelry box was very cleaver. I also liked the wooden items that held the little pots. All were good.
How precious is your Canterbury Tales book update - especially to your site. How creative!
Hello Maureen
Santa Alan loves all of your projects. I try to watch them all. Keep up the awesome flips
Another great video Sherri, thank you!
You are so welcome!😊 I am intrigued by your name “Angel, but please call me Sherri”!
@@CanterburyCottage I doubt that will ever happen Sherry! Keep up the amazing work!!
Hello how are you doing my friend
I agree with you, my favorite project of yours today is the jewelry box to book transformation. 😊
Hi, Lynne! I think I’m going to make another book box to hide the remotes in the family room.
Hi how are you doing my friend
My favorite was the jewelry box turned into a book. Very unique.
The book lamp is stunning and the thread spools for feet is an idea that I’m going to use.
Hello Lori
I think the book lamp is my favorite. I also love the book as well. It looks so real. Amazing job and great creations!
The book idea was genius! Holy cow!!!!
Those glasses look beautiful on you!!! I, as usual, think everything is fabulous! What a grea job you do with the simplest of items....I just love it!!!!
My favorites were the book-box and the adorable bubblegum dispenser terrarium. 😊
The book box is my favorite. What a wonderful gift that would make for adults but so cute for kids. Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Black Beauty, so many classic books that kids can have a special trinket box for. Thanks for the idea.
You are so welcome!🥰 I love anything book related!
Good morning! I loved using those thread spools for risers! So, so smart and cute! I have a difficult time with that dark wood on the stool also. I would have to paint and distress those legs! Thank you for sharing your talent and knowledge. I love the tips!
Hello Sharon
I loved the book lamp. Imagine how cute one would look with children's books!
Oh, my goodness, Marie! I love that idea!🥰 ❤️ I think I am going to make a book lamp for my niece. Originally, I was going to put Legos in that glass lamp for my nephew, so I’ll have to keep an eye out for another glass lamp for him!
Apart from being beautiful you’re a very good decorator 🤍🤍
Wow,you are fantastic! I absolutely love everything you do! I can’t wait for Tuesday’s to see what you’ve created!, I have shared you channel with all of my friends xxxx
Thank you, Jeanette! It is kind viewers like you that have helped my channel grow! I really appreciate you!🥰
Hello 👋
I love the book box too!😍
Thanks, Sarah! 😊 I was surprised at how the pictures of the book edges turned out. It made me wonder why the ones in stores aren’t more realistic looking.
No way can I choose a favorite. Love them all. TFS.
You are so sweet, Carol! Thanks so much!🥰
I was one of your viewers who asked for ideas for a cheese box.
Again you are so gifted. God bless you for sharing all your amazing and exciting projects. Love the vintage style and that book was cool.
I very much liked your little foot stool. I know painting over wood is all the rage, but there’s something rich looking about dark stained wood that cannot be outdone.
Like you said “Granny chic!”
