Thank you for defining the dating vs relationship stages! Getting into dating again recently and after a date or two w a guy I felt he was unintentionally pressuring me and moving too fast and acting like we were in a relationship already, but I felt bad and weird for not being in the same mindset. I ended up breaking it off after a second date bc of that and some other things. But this definitely gives me some good timelines and guidelines for continuing to date

Thanks both. It would be fascinating to know how you practically apply this wisdom to long distance where you met online but live in different countries. Especially coming from the mission world. Everything logistically less convenient as you can imagine 😅

By far the hardest challenge to truly get to know somebody. Critical need here is to meet their closest friends and mentors who are doing LIFE with them, not back home in another country. Wise counsel who truly know them who can vouch for their character
