Hi Wally I have a house in Lares. I’ve had it since 2018. Always had roof leaks and I kept investing into fixing it time and time again I spent alot of money. A year and a half ago, I had repaired it with Henry silicone sealant for tropical weather roofs. They sell it at the Homedepot in Hatillo each 5 gallon is about $370.00. An inspector comes out measures your roof and tells you how much you would need to buy and what needs to be repaired beforehand. It is guaranteed for 25 years. I haven’t had any leaks or issues with my roof since.
The problem with the homeowners in Puerto Rico that they powerwash their roof, my home is in rio Granda for 25 years, I am the first owner and I never never any leaks in the roof so do not powerwash your roof that will damage it. I love you Wally because you love my second home Puerto Rico
@@paxy2011 the changes it’s gone through, especially in the past decade. It’s more like California than Puerto Rico anymore. It’s become an enclave for the extremely wealthy English speaking only crowd. They still have beautiful sunsets, but it’s not worth dealing with the crowds anymore. Crash boat is still pretty, but once again the crowds are absolutely insane. Rincon has reached a spilling point, and it looks like Aguadilla has become the spillway. The only people who can afford to live there anymore, are people that are moving here from somewhere else. It’s just not what it was. We have some very fond memories of Rincon, but that was 20 years ago.

We are coming out the 1st week of February to look for a house to rent until we find a house to buy. I saw your guys came to Colorado, hope you enjoyed your time here. It's beautiful here. @ we get to Colorado quite frequently, that’s where all of my family is from. I lived there for a good long while before moving to South Carolina. Do you know what part of Puerto Rico y’all plan on moving to?
@swampfoxadventures4290 ok ok, that's awesome. I moved to Colorado in 95 from Cali. My husband grew up in Vail Co and New Symerna Beach, Fl. We love it here our families are here as well. We are getting older, and I need to be in a place where my soul feels at peace. We found that along the west coast of PR. We haven't decided on a town. There are so many wonderful towns. Please tell ReelBabes her spanish is awesome!!! I've been working on mine for a year, and hearing her gives me inspiration! Just had to throw that in... we look from Arecibo to Ríncon and down south as well. We love to grow our own food, so we are looking for something with that in mind.
