so glad I found this channel.. my mother had a little bag with quarters and half dollars in it with her collectibles I found when she passed so she obviously had intended to have them checked because she thought they might be valuable.. hope she was right
Hey Justin just want you to know how much I appreciate you and have been watching you for years now. Also I have come upon a 1999 p Delaware quarter that doesn't appear to have a copper core. Is it possibly 40% silver, or experimental planchette possibly or something that was plated after production. The coin weighs 5.7 grams
I have a 1999 D Connecticut State quarter with a smooth as in no reeded edge quarter. Going to get graded but definitely a mint error. Have you heard of this before? Value?
How's it going my name is Miguel and I just started collecting coins and I recently found a 2002 Mississippi quarter it's crazy I've never seen a coin that has a shadow of the president not sure if you seen one?
I love your content. I just started collecting coins a couple months ago and i know ive watched no less than 100 of your videos. Thank you so much for all the helpful stuff you put out. I have a quarter with what i believe to be some unique doubling in the text of the quarter. Possibly some in the branches. Is there a way i can send pictures to you directly??
How could one tell the difference from a missing clad layer, and a burnt coin???? 😂😂😂 I'lol send a pick tomorrow...hoping to get a box of pennies and chill. Keep doing what you do!!!
I have a 1999 Delaware from P mint where the 1 in 1787 is missing as well as the “E” from the end of STATE , any ideas as to whether or not it’s a recognized misprint ?
At 3:33 you discuss a 1999 quarter struck on an experimental planchette (sp), I believe I just found one as well. It’s a 2000 P Massachusetts state quarter. It is definitely not gold plated and looks exactly like the example in the video. Wish I could post a pic here.
Dear Mr. Couch, another super video. Over the years l've found state quarters with cuds, some missing clad, faded lettering ect., but the Connecticut quarter was a big one. At first l thought it was a die crack or damage, but after checking with a magnifying glass, the tree design has extra branches on the bottom fight side, a really cool, if not unique error.
I have one how can I sell it? And it was a quarter dollar the second coin you show in the video it was given to me by a American man when I was a new born baby
I love the quarters and I have hundreds of them. Just nothing extreme or even worth keeping. I have rolls and rolls of them. I guess since my sons aren't into them. I will roll them up and back to the bank they will go. It will be hard for me to do because I have been collecting them since they came out. I'm also collecting the ATB park and of course looking for the illusive W which I did win one. That is about it. Thanks Justin. Have a great weekend. ; D
@@shanedaniel7 Probably because I didn't know about all those things when I started. It would take me forever to get through all of them. It's something I will think very hard about. Thanks for your comment. Have a great weekend. ; D
@@ShirlBussman You can do it quickly with a quality loupe! State quarters are even known for having dropped letter errors, which are worth a lot. You could check for missing clad layer and partial collar as well. Additionally, a lot of designs have doubled die reverses that are worth a bit.
@@shanedaniel7 I know all of that and I do have a scope a pretty good one too. I'm keeping a lot of them before I check them under the scope. I wouldn't do it until I check them all. Thanks for your help. It does mean a lot to me.
I found a 1998 quarter with multiple-size air pits on both sides. I have not been able to find any quarter like it anywhere. I have had the quarter for about 20 years. I am wanting to know if you have seen or found anything like this? Thank you, Daniel
I have a question I have a 1999 quarter with a pink tree.i don't know if somebody coler the tree.or the quarter is like that? Do you know what value this quarter is.😒
I recieved a uncirculated box set of 5 1999 state quarters and all are gold toned in color. Ive never seen a quarter from the Mint that is gold colored.. Anyone have info as to why or if there were any special strikes that were golden or on experimental planchets?
Hey need advice from anyone! Just got a 1999 US Conneticut quarter from a convenience store... And I am not saying that I would do anything illegal,.. but curious: how would one go about taking off the outer layer of one side of the coin?🤔And thanks for the great vid! 😉✌️🇨🇦
Omgggggggg. So i just found 4 of the 1999 Connecticut rev missing clad layer coins. My friend owed me some money and he had brand new rolls never opened so i took them and just started checking them and i found 4 of them clear as day wow! Ill be selling them for very good price!
I have a Delaware P mint that is 180 deg rotated and haven't seen it described anywhere I wonder what its worth. It was in circulation for at least 10 years so i'm not sure of grade as i'm not a collector.
Hi, I have Pennsylvania state quarter that shows 999 for the year. The 1 is "erased." I’ve looked online for similar information. Can you advise me or point me in the direction? Thxs.
I've got a 99 state Connecticut coin where its not perfectly circled and it's kind of faded and the edges are like leaky on the rims where words are and you can't see Washingtons tie for his hair. How much could it be worth it's I believe a Denver mint. I also have a 2000 1788 error coin with similar appearances but neither are due to being worn down and it's not rounded perfectly how much for that one? Oh and a 67 free eagle that's dark minted with errors on the wing on the left side (right on the bird wings how much for that?
I have a 1999 Connecticut state quarter. When you turn over the quarter, the tree on the back is upside down. Does this have any value other than a quarter? Thank you for your time.
I found a 1999 p. Connecticut in good shape but on the back the 'p' on pluribus is not there at all but u can sort of see a shadow but its smooth no lines. It's really not there. I'm not just trying to b kool- I cant find anything to look at tho to compare or even to justify I found something.. please can you do me a solid and answer this... a) have u ever hurd/seen this error b) what should I do next. I was thinking ull just say send it off to get graded but I hope uve at least hurd of this b4.. or anyone out there. Thank u all
I have a pensivania 1999 p but can't make much out on it was winding if it was worth anything idk what to do with it or who to go to I took pic of it as good as I could to read what was on it
I found a 1999 Connecticut quarter it's not a proof finish, just normal however the edges are silver, yet it's not made of silver. It has slight magnetic properties sorta but not like Silvers properties. The coin has a different weight than a silver or other Connecticut clad quarter. The quarter appears to be made of a unique metal! It has a slick feel to it like it's coated in oil however it's not.....I'm totally baffled by this thing! It's unlike any other quarter I have ever seen. I don't believe it's made of pure nickel, it's not silver, and there is no copper in it!
