  • Bulk wrapping a aTesla Model 3 Bumper is challenging. However if you follow this guideline you should become proficient at it after a few installs. It’s great for those white finishes that collect dirt at the seams and edges over time.
    Use a 36” wide roll for this.

    Best video I’ve seen. I’ve searched high and low. Thanks for making it. I’ve been afraid to do it. I’ve done pre-cut multiple times and I’ve been wanting to move to bulk, now I’m going to try it. I may fail once but I’ll keep going.

    Very quick and simple, a lot of people spend over 1 hour per car part while you do it in a breeze. Flawless work

    I Use STEK, and it has a weaker adhesive than what you're using, so my tension management is a little bit different for these installs, but overall this is a solid roadmap and quality walkthrough for this bumper for one piece. Nice work!!

    I'm doing a first time DIY on my M3P. You were right about Xpel being different. I tried it that way and it definitely did not work out as well. Xpel Stealth is a completely different animal. I had to make a few extra cuts but right now i'm struggling with the fingers at the top of the bumper under the hood. I very much appreciate your video though. Thank you.

    @PaintProtectionFilmAcademy I did install ppf DIY on my tesla and some edges there are pockets which has dirt and after cleaning it doesn’t stick back very well. Any suggestion you would give to get it stick? Will adhesive promoter help? Please guide. Thanks.

    What is your recipe for slip? I used the XPEL slip and Ultimate film and had a way tougher time with fingers and work marks whenever I lifted and repositioned. That gully in front of vent really kicked my ass.

    • @PaintProtectionFilmAcademy
      @PaintProtectionFilmAcademy  Рік тому

      XPEL adhesive is a little aggressive. If you’re using gel why not try a soap and water mixture.

    Don't use 3M Scotchgard for this install. It is much thicker and don't stretch enough.
