    it's really a shame that they made one of the most beautiful American car exteriors and the interior styling and quality looks like a 2003 dodge neon

    My 2LT camaro has a heads up display (speed, song info and other messages appear on the windshield.....I've never looked down at my speedometer......a HUD will quickly spoil you), dual tone leather interior, door accent lights that glow at night and other enmities that are nice. The only two things I like about the challenger is the classic deep throaty sound and the sport pedals. Two things I wish my camaro would have.

  • @Americanmuscle1968

    What a great vid Kyle, we had a 2010 Charger as a hire car when we were in the states and I find that it wasnt that bad and agree with your observation with the interior, looks cheap but works well, I find it funny that most of the Dodge range have the same interior, its strange that Dodge would share an all most same interior as the Charger and Avenger, and that there is a lack of steering wheel controls on a premium car.
    But I love the car and get alot of enjoyment watching your vids mate

    @DaKidSn1pes You're wrong in a few ways. The 5.7 Hemi was reintroduced in 2003 with 345HP in the Ram...never 325 and 340HP in the 300C, Magnum R/T, and Charger R/T. In 2009 it was revised with dual VVT and other improvements giving it 376HP in the 09 Challenger and is still 376HP for the 2011 models.

    @andrefrbk That light is the Check Tire Pressure light, most cars have them now-a-days, cold weather sets them off... My moms car did that yesterday. And if you listened to him at around 1:50, he said that the tire pressure is low due to the cold weather.

    transmissions work on the principles of pressure and resistance, which all have an effect on how an engine produces power. It is common knowledge that anything hydraulic in nature requires pressure to perform the specific function. If there is pressure, then resistance will ultimately follow.
    Automatic transmissions rely on fluid pressure to properly engage or disengage the set of gears built in the system.

    @form109 Yeah the Mustang does have a nice interior. No the Challenger isn't a top notch interior but at least Chrysler uses soft touch materials in places where there isn't leather and stitching. The SRT8 392 definitely has the nicest interior out of all the Challengers. I sat in one and it's more appealing than the others IMO, especially with the pistol grip shifter that the manual trans comes with! That's one it's highlights along with the SRT design steering wheel they put in this year.

    @DaKidSn1pes The Mustang had 325 hp. But, the v6 Challeneger made 250 hp, it has a 305 hp v6 now (se). The 6.1 made 425 hp, and the new 6.4 makes about 465 hp (srt8). The 5.7 makes about 385 hp (r/t).

    I dont see why people give others so much crap about owning an automatic. I like driving a stick (ultimately doesnt matter to me), but these autos are just as beastly. In a car like this its all about the feeling of 400 ft/lbs of torque that shoot from your foot and ass to the little kid in your head. This car is pure class...and its more than formidable as a streetfighter. Theres quite a few 4.6L GT Mustangs that dont think my RT is a slug anymore, lol.

  • @Bluemoondm1
    @Bluemoondm1 12 років тому

    Cont.
    The enormous amounts of pressure produce resistance on the engines flywheel, which in effect is connected to the torque converter of the automatic transmission. The torque converter is responsible for the pressure build up inside the transmission case. It is the resistance of the torque converter that bogs down the engine and giving a net loss of horsepower.

    one of my friends got one of these..while he was driving in the rain some water got into the sport air filter and the engine broke down, he waited more than 3 months to get his car fixed. what i want to say is that these cars are really beautiful but they dont stand harsh weather conditions plus the agency here offers poor services and insane prices

    How is the leg room in the backseat though? Are your knees being squashed by the backrest of the front seats? And if the people in front move their seat forward to accommodate rear seating, will front seating comfort be compromised? Let us assume rear seat passengers are on average about 5'5'' - 5'6''.
