you did a great job explaining! i have a learning disability and it’s hard for me to read , you were fast enough where i wasn’t bored but slow enough so i could grasp it. thank you!!
Thank you for clarifying the number of stitiches we should have at the end of the row and how to start off love how you teach very details and speed is perfect for people like me who will be doing a crochet along 🥰 I can not wait to create this beautiful project with you crocheting along.
Cookie Cookie yes ofcourse. Are you on insta or Facebook? I’m keep.calm.and.crochet on insta. I can massage you and send a picture to explain how to make a bigger square if you like x
I have never done a heart granny square before but I managed it thanks to your easy to follow video .I want to do a edge on it too.have you a video for this ? Thanks in advance ❤
I love this tutorial, thanks for thant! May you can explain how join multiple of this pieces? Because i know how to join granny squeres, but the edges of this piece are not the same as in all the tutorials. Now i got many squeres, but i dont know how to join. 😶
You are a great teacher! I'm a beginner and struggle a lot with counting hahaha I do not know how to count but with this video was so easy to spot the mistakes and fix them before was too late Thank you! I want to do a sweater with these squares. Do you think I can do like a border in order to do the square bigger? Or that will ruin the pattern...
Aww Thankyou so much for such lovely feedback. Instead of making a border I would suggest that you add 5-10 rows of single crochet on top and bottom to make the length bigger. Hope this helps. Happy Crocheting ☺️
Thanks for the video, can you recommend another pattern using a different stitch for a same size square. I don’t want use the bobble heart square for the whole blanket
What are your thoughts on creating a one piece blanket . If I keep chaining sets of 19 until I got to the length I wanted then add one chain ( 19 + 1)then follow the pattern row by row ?
@@mari-lj3ib nope never replied so I wasn't putting the time into it to see if it worked out . I never understand why people make videos and then they never respond when people have questions or need help .. why bother making videos 🤷♀️
yes this is a great video, and said so clearly and was very very easy.i liked how you did not say it over 4 or 5 times.lol some of those tutorials are hard to understand and a bit confusing for a beginner. 😊do you think if instead of bubbles i could just skip a space and it will be like a filet heart?❤
Thankyou so much for your lovely feedback x You certainly can chain 1 instead of a bouble stitch however the heart might not be too clearly visible as usually for a fillet heart you would ch2 in between stitches. Thanks for watching my tutorials. 😊
I keep getting stuck at 10:55. When you have 7 bobbles and its time to start the next row, when i turn my work it ends up on the bobble stitch side instead of the back side like yours. How does yours keep ending up on the back side as if you’ve started from going to the right to left again instead of left to right.
I tried this but chain 1 between bobble increased stitch count. That would bug me. No offense. Up by too many if no chain one after each bobble it would have added up. Sorry 🙂
I think You've got captions on its the cc button on top right of screen (subtitles) click on that click beside off and that should get rid of it. Click on if you need them.
This is just a small granny square. You will need to make a few of these and connect them together to cover anything. Lol Or you could make this square bigger by crocheting all around with double crochets. You will need to work 2 dc ch3 2dc in the corner stitches .. hope this helps.
You can get a yarn needle and weave into each row, crisscrossing from square to square, or you can slip stitch together, though its seam won't be as pretty. Hope this helps, if not there's some great tutorials on youtube!

Yes.

how do you make your bubbles look so big? mine look so small and they look very spaced out

I’m sorry not sure what witting is? X

Will this still work with bulky yarn and a bigger hook?
It can still work with bulky yarn and bigger hook but the square and the bobbles will be very large.
@@KeepCalmAndCrochet it worked! I’m going for a chunky oversized look, I’m making a sweater and wanted to add these fun heart shaped bobbles to it!
Do you have a written pattern
Following
Can you show us how best to join them all
Hi there yeah sure. I’m planning to make that video very soon x
I wish I could find a written pattern for this video 😢 I have to watch and pause so many times
I guess I’m putting a edge on this and assume down the edge it would be two double crochets for each row. 1 bobble heart square doesn’t cover me😂😂😂
This is just a small granny square. You will need to make a few of these and connect them together to cover anything. Lol
Or you could make this square bigger by crocheting all around with double crochets. You will need to work 2 dc ch3 2dc in the corner stitches ..

What are the rough measurements after it's finished?
Finished square is about 12 cm x 12cm. But that depends of the thickness of the wool you use x
How do you join the squares after?
You can get a yarn needle and weave into each row, crisscrossing from square to square, or you can slip stitch together, though its seam won't be as pretty. Hope this helps, if not there's some great tutorials on youtube!
I will try this for my great granddaughter that due in March thanks for showing me, i hope it turns out the same as your.
Can you make it a little slower. It’s hard to follow you . Many thanks
You can slow the video down if you find it too fast. Thanks x
